I like that it is central to everything on the Cape. The beach at West Dennis is minutes away. The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood with very little traffic.

The house itself is wonderfully spacious, with plenty of comfortable seating in the common areas for everyone to relax and gather. The outdoor shower was such a bonus, and we really enjoyed the outdoor space and convenient parking. The neighborhood is peaceful and perfect for walking or bike riding, yet you’re just minutes from West Dennis Beach and the always-fun Cuffy’s. Check-in and check-out were seamless, making the entire stay stress-free. Overall, it was a truly great experience, and we’re already hoping to come back next year!

Also we had a toilet issue for one day with four of us in the house. Martha Murray was very helpful assisting us! Other than those two issues, it was fantastic!

House very nice in general but grill was dirty, starter didn't work, refrigerator froze vegetables/fruit outside the fruit bins (left fruit/veg bin very difficult to open), gas stove knobs difficult to operate, no timer for oven, no DVD player, one key didn't work, MM had to bring another key when we were locked out

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love this cottage!! This year my husband and I were there all alone. It was very clean and sanitized. We did have a problem with one of the heaters, but Robin was very helpful and even went out of her way to fix the problem. Honestly, coming to this house always feels like coming home. I hate to say too many nice things about this house, or everyone will want to stay here!

Once at the property, we were very pleased to see that the property was just as described and pictured on the website. The house was very clean and we had no problems at all. The neighborhood was very quiet and in a great location, within walking distance to the beach. We would recommend this property for anyone looking for a clean, quiet place to get away.

Not for the pubic

The house is nice but definitely needs some attention. Neither the front nor the side door closes properly. Doors need to be rehung or perhaps replaced. Also they were insects in the house and maybe a little mouse or something. I found a couple of little turds on the floor. Other than that, though, we enjoyed our stay.

As I mentioned over the phone as well, we appreciate the feedback from our guests as we do not live in the homes, and this is the only way we know what needs to be taken care of. We have sent the owners your feedback and the owners are already looking into these issues. I hope this does not discourage you from renting with us in the future. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rent homes frequently. This one stands out for the wrong reasons. Kitchen was poorly stocked (every cabinet full of things not needed). Air conditioning was poor. Cob webs everywhere. Showers were the highlight. Yard maintenance was awful. Garbage can, outside shower area was treacherous.

Hi Ann Marie! Thank you so much for your feedback! There is a lot of things we can improve on- which we have done. The owners did a full refresh of the kitchen and replaced the air conditioners. The outdoor space has also been addressed. We hope to see you again!

Nice house - with a couple of caveats.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was in a very nice location, quiet and close to everything we wanted to do. Martha Murray let us know that we could get into the house early which was very helpful. The size of the house was very good for us and having two full bathrooms was great! The window air conditioners in the bedrooms were very helpful and were utilized most days, but the newer side of the house (the sitting room with all of the windows next to the kitchen) got so unbearably hot during the day that it was pretty much unusable during those hours. There were no blinds or shades for the windows (the windows are lovely by the way) so you could not do anything to mitigate the heat. The box fan that was in the house didn’t do much to help. The ceiling fan in the other living room (the one with the tv) really helped with the air circulation in that room and I had also brought two small fans that made that room comfortable. The clothes dryer worked but had no heat so it took forever to dry a load of laundry, it probably needs to be looked at. It wasn’t a big deal for us but might be for a family with kids that might need to do more laundry than we did. The house was pretty clean when we got there except that the bathroom trash cans had not been emptied and there was a used face mask on the floor in one bedroom; also, the fridge had not been wiped out and there were crumbs, etc., in the drawers and on the fridge shelves. Not a huge deal but since there is a cleaning fee, you do expect that the house will be completely clean when you get there. I would consider renting this house again but the heat issue in the newer part of the house is a big issue during the summer months. It’s a shame that some kind of air conditioning (maybe a mini-split) wasn’t put in that part of the house when it was added or renovated. I don’t mean this review to focus on the few negatives, we liked the house very much and the size was great for us. Looking forward

This is probably our 8th or 9th renting this house. Martha Murray is very communicative and helpful, and they make it easy to check in and out.
