Fantastic 5BR ski house located in private neighborhood in prime location in the heart of the Green Mountains. Enjoy true mountain living and winter fun - 15 miles to Killington. Hiking, biking, and tubing just around the river bend. Central to Killington, Rochester, Woodstock and Rutland, short drive to Stowe and Waterbury. Close to many ski areas for all seasons. Enjoy breathtaking foliage from the expansive deck. 5 bedrooms, king size main bedroom suite on its own floor with wood burning stove, ensuite full bath and dual walk in closets. Bunk room sleeps 4 with its own bathroom. Main floor queen bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Large living room w/ stone fireplace. Kitchen with double oven.
Lower level has 2 additional bedrooms and full bathroom with laundry room. Game room/2nd Living room also located on walk out lower level with sliding doors to additional deck and expansive yard with fire pit.
Covered parking for two cars. Storage galore for ski gear!
House also contains pack & play for infants

We had an amazing stay. house was perfect for a 12 person ski trip. Great location. Only issue we ran in to was - the weather was so cold that the pipes froze. Leaving 2 of the 4 bathrooms unusable.

Great place to stay for group trips!

Was with a group of 10 guys and the place was fantastic as had plenty of beds and bathrooms to accommodate all! Living and dining room offered lots of space, enjoyed the fireplace after a long day on the slopes!

Great family trip

This is our second year staying here and it was fantastic. House has everything we need for a fun weekend of skiing/ snowboarding. Hope to keep coming back.

We love this house - it's perfect for a larger group, especially if there are kids in the mix. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out, but super cozy. Book it; you wont regret it :)

Excellent property!

We had a great stay! Semi-reunion with college friends, great location, quiet area, house was perfect for 4 couples, nestled in the trees. Plenty of room and kitchen had everything you would need. Back deck was great to relax outside amongst the trees.

Wonderful ski house !

House was perfect for our annual ski trip ! Fully stocked to cook meals, plenty of beds and extra space. Excellent communication with the house when I had a couple of questions. Would 100% stay there again !

Accurately named

A few adults in my family gathered here for a long weekend together. The layout was great for shared meals and games as well as privacy when anyone needed to decompress. The setting is lovely, and the covered porches meant we could still sit outside during a persistent May rain

Cozy and Warm

We had such a great time at this listing. It was the perfect distance away from Killington, but remote and secluded enough for us to unwind and relax in peace and quiet. The wood burning fireplace really gave it that cozy cabin feel and there was a lot of fun things to do in the house. We highly recommend this place and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Comfortable house for large group

House fit our group of 10 singles comfortably. Spent a couple nights where outside temp was—20F and house held up well and kept us warm and toasty! Host was easy to reach and great communication. Would stay again!

Ski weekend

Whispering Pines was fantastic! After reading the positive reviews we decided to go with this property and we did not regret it. The house is spacious, clean and has everything we needed to make it an easy enjoyable weekend. The beds were comfy, location was great and we loved the large fireplace. Thank you for a great weekend, we would definitely stay here again!

Amazing stay at Whispering Pines!

From before reservation all the way through check out this has been one of my best rental experiences! Thank you Kara for being an excellent host. Communication was incredible throughout our stay and we truly enjoyed the home. So spacious for our group of 9 adults. If we come back to killington this will be our go to place! Thanks again!

Third Stay! Wonderful Spot!

This is our third time staying - that should say enough :) We love it here. The house just has a great vibe & Is full of really wonderful memories for our group. Kitchen is smaller, but our big group watched the superbowl comfortably in the living room. Bedrooms are spread out (in a nice way). It's great location - we are skiers & Killington is an easy drive. We'll be back!

Family get together

The house was great, everything we had hoped for and more. The pictures don’t do it justice. We had 9 adults in our group and there was plenty of room for us all on the sofas around the fireplace and we could all fit at the table to eat together.

Excellent cozy wooded retreat

Whispering pines is everything that is advertised. It’s cozy, very clean, and close to ski resorts. This probably the most well-stocked stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen in a rental! Even the kitchen knives are sharp! There are also so many board games to play. We loved the setup of the upstairs living room that sows everyone to gather together.

Cozy cabin!

Whispering Pines was such a nice, cozy getaway for our annual ski trip! There was plenty of space for a big group- with large bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms spread throughout the house. We also loved the wood fireplace and comfy couches. Thanks for hosting us!The listing makes this clear, but you really do want 4WD for the road the house is on. Otherwise it was perfect, and the instructions were all very clear. Thank you!
