Casa del Secreto is a luxury oceanfront/beachfront vacation home that can be rented out as either a 3 bedroom or 6 bedroom home. Also available 7th bedroom studio suite. As a guest of Casa del Secreto, you can expect:
• Immaculate living spaces
• Views of the Caribbean Sea from most every angle inside the villa, including three balconies with magnificent ocean views (where you can watch the sunrise every morning, and occasionally watch dolphins swim across the horizon line)

Literally 10 steps to the ocean. I already miss the sound of the waves crashing. Some of the best nights sleep ever. Our family of 10 made some lifetime memories.

Brilliant House, Staff and View

11 of us stayed in a house that could have easily housed another 4-5 folks. House was gorgeous, and well-appointed. We also paid for the option to have food served in the house, which was a super choice, since it has a large family-sized table, and we were able to have the younger children crash if needed. It helped that the food was excellent! Would absolutely recommend this place to any largish group who are looking for a no-hassle, very relaxing 3-4 days, but who also value quality and service. Do take advantage of the owner's offer to pre-stock with groceries before arrival - we found this incredibly useful.

Birthday Weekend

We had an amazing long weekend at Hacienda Secreto. We loved the private location directly on the beach, the fresh ingredients in the chef prepared meals, and the warm family feel of the villa. Thank you!

Amazing propery!

I can't say enough great things about this property. We rented casa del secteto for an extended family vacation consisting of 10 of us. This house was amazing and accommodated us comfortably. It was so nice to have a pool to ourselves and direct access to the beach whenever we wanted. We had an opportunity to watch beautiful sea turtles lay their eggs at night right on the beach by our house. We enjoyed their spa services as well as a private yoga class, both of which were amazing. The service was excellent and any time we needed anything the staff was just a phone call away. I can't say enough great things about this property. We will definitely be back here.

Pleasantly surprised

Our travel group of five couples booked Hacienda del Secreto as a true VRBO, after which we realized this house is part of a resort (which was not clear in the listing). It worked out fabulously though, and we highly recommend this to anyone looking for something in the area that's NOT part of a huge resort complex. Early communication could have been a bit better, but once we got closer to our arrival date everything fell into place nicely. We used 3 days of the Hacienda meal plan and the chef and service was well above par. Oscar and staff were great to work with and met every need we had - even the little requests. Doy and her team are committed to making their little slice of Heaven a destination to visit often.

Our stay at the Villa was excellent We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The villa was clean, accommodated all our needs. We had six adults and no one felt crowded.The kitchen was fully furnished with all the necessities for our stay.The location was easy access to all the surrounding area.We even rented a vehicle and had no problems finding where we wanted to go.The description of the Villa was very accurate along with the amenities.The pool was clean and beautiful; the beach was gorgeous and well maintained.The Maid service kept the kitchen and the house in tip top shape They would come multiple times during the day to keep the kitchen clean.They had a chore as for we had 4 young men with us Beds bathroom living room were kept clean at all times. WE had the cook which I am sorry do not remember his name but he provided food for us one day it was excellent the margaritas were to die for.The gentlemen that served us during that day were very gracious and made us feel like we were Kings and queens.One day the ground people came and cut coconuts down for us and showed us how to get the milk out and to make drinks from them.The security Guards made us feel save and taken care of. Mauricio was the best he helped us set us several excursions, answered all our questions and treated us like we were the only people in the world.He gave us information for our tour guide to the Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza,Francisco Francisco was an excellent tour guide. He made our tour that day the best he kept us on schedule he provided us with extras like taking us to some old cities and showing us around and we were able to see some old churches which we had desperately wanted to see. He took care of getting our tickets, food, everything. He took us to Cenote Sagrado Azul and that was exciting and beautiful. We ate at Hacienda Xaybeh Dcamara which was excellent. Mauricio also recommended several restaurants in Puerto MOrelos Pelican, El Merkadito, Habernarios, All of which were excellent places to eat. We at several time at El Merkadito and loved it.The village was beautiful and full of atmosphere.WE would definitely recommend the Villa, Mauricio, Doy and all the staff to all friends and family. We also went to Playa De Carmen and visited Fifth Avenue.The culture and atmosphere was great.The whole trip was perfect.Thank you very much. An added benefit or joy to us was the dogs. Contesia, Bella,Grandpa, and Nuva.

A Special Place

Fantastic venue, including location, continuing excellent and professional service and a magical place to celebrate a special occasion(in our case, a 1 year-delay to commemorate our 50th anniversary ) Our Family included our 2 daughters/ spouses and our 6 grandkids...We had a Blast!!

Great House & Location!

Overall the property is great!! Good location, close to the airport, Oscar and the whole staff were great, good food! The only cons is that seaweed some days was bad, we were lucky to get 3-4 good days. Overall very good experience and highly recommended!

Wonderful private spot

The staff at this property is amazing. Oscar was simply perfect and attentive to all our needs. He went grocery shopping at 9:30 pm for us. Can't say enough about them. The villa is right on the beach, and its your own private oasis. You don't want for anything.

Christmas 2020

We chose to rent a house over the holidays for two reasons: 1) to allow for isolation during the pandemic, and 2) to facilitate interactions with our family (we had 8 of us ranging from 15 -81 years of age). We were successful with both objectives. The house was nice and well-appointed. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and 3 downstairs (1 master and 2 other bedrooms on each floor). The main floor has a larger kitchen and eating area. The 2nd floor has a smaller kitchen and eating area. It was nice to have multiple areas where you could fix food and eat. The 2nd floor balcony has a nice table for 8 that provided great venues for dinner a couple nights. The staff was outstanding. The house was always clean. We had all our meals served in the house. The food was good quality and the food presentation/service was great. Oscar - the on site concierge - was fantastic. We had so many meal and activity changes, that I am sure we tried his patience. But, he delivered each time. The house is right on the beach - with easy access. Very convenient when you have lots of people who want to come and go as they please. There were plenty of beach toys (kayaks, paddle board, boogie boards, life jackets, etc.). One issue we had is that the beach in front of our property was washed away on the last night we were there. Apparently this happens on a regular basis - and the waves eventually redeposit the sand. You still have beach access, but not in front of the property. It would have been a bit of a bummer if we had arrived and there were just rocks in front of our property. As it was, we were able to enjoy the sand beach up until our last day. A couple things to note if you are renting: - bring cash to pay all incidentals. If you want to use a credit card, you are charged a 20% fee. Bring cash to tip the staff. They work very hard and tips are critical to them. And, they will earn every penny. Overall, we had a great time. And, I would recommend this property if you are looking for a nice beach front house that makes it easy to hangout with your family.

Best Vacation EVER

This house was perfect for our large family vacation. With 11 people, we were very comfortable. Being only steps away from the ocean was fantastic. The kayaks and boogie boards were an extremely fun addition. The pool and jacuzzi were nice for the little ones. The staff was kind enough to put up an extra umbrella at the beach and hang hammocks for us in the trees. Nester was so kind and attentive to us. He even brought us aloe vera when he noticed our red skin! We were spoiled for a week and are already talking about coming back! Being back home, I'm missing the sounds of the ocean from my window. As my 10 year old son said..."Best Vacation EVER!"

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful time at this rental. Our family of 16 stayed there. The house is beautiful and well equipped. The location is private, but has all the amenities you need and is close to groceries, restaurants, and the airport. The staff was amazing: good food, clean house and gardens, maintained pool and beach area. We would definitely come back! Thanks for a great stay.

Best spot I’ve ever been

House is stunning. High quality fixtures and furniture. Very clean! House is cleaned thrice daily. Loved that. Beach is unparalleled. Very safe and secure. Very private. Puerto Morelos and PDC are very close. Would recommend renting a car.

Casa Del Secreto - High End Vacation

We arrived every morning to our own private pool with freshly stocked towels and private bathroom, ocean view of coarse. Breakfast was served looking over the ocean from the upstairs patio. Oh and if you want to kayak in the crystal blue ocean all you need to do is pick up your radio and ask. They will bring them to the waters edge and you are off. Every room is like a hotel suite. Would go again in a second. This is a family operated vacation home and it shows with all the care and attention they and the staff provide

More than Five Stars; It is a Special Place

Our stay at the Casa was so relaxing and pleasant and brought back so many great memories of our daughter's wedding at Playa Secreto 4 years ago. Every person who came for the wedding still talks about how fabulous it was: the place, the staff, the arrangements, the entire experience. I am so happy we got to stay at the Casa del Secreto last week. They have the best staff anywhere. Every single person on site was pleasant and accommodating. The design of the villas, the landscaping, the beach and the attention to detail were, as ever, outstanding, even though we were the only people staying at the Playa that week. Lucky us. Also, we appreciated being able to rent the car on site and the airport pickup and drop off. Christopher and Jose were so gracious and sweet to sing the Spanish birthday song, Las Mañanitas, to my husband as they presented his birthday cake after dinner on Thursday night. He loved it. He also loved his towel and toilet paper "birthday cake" with flowers the maid left for him on our bed. I put that photo on my fb page and got a lot of comments. Of course, the Great Mauricio took good care of us at all times. He is a Gem. Everyone made us feel like family. A Blizzard at home forced us to change our flights and unexpectedly stay an extra 2 days and Doy and her staff arranged for us to stay in place and took care of us. This is a special place.

40th anniversary family vacation

We went to Casa del Secreto to celebrate my parents' 40th wedding anniversary. 5 couples and 7 children. The staff made everything possible to make us feel comfortable, we had some problems with the A/C and the fridge and they fixed it as soon as we told them. We had a great time and we hope to be back soon!

Best Vacation Ever!

This was the best, most restful vacation ever. I have traveled the world and had a good time doing it but I entirely enjoyed Playa del Secreto without a moments irritation. I felt perfectly safe and protected. The accommodations were above expectation and the property was very well kept and beautiful. The staff was friendly, skilled, and professional. Doy Cooper, the owner, is an awesome woman and I hope to see her often in the coming years. The food was excellent and delightfully served. Fairly centrally located, it seemed to me, I was in reach of many attractions such as Cozumel, Isla de Mujeres, Coba, Chichen Itza, Tulum, Playa del Carmen, and Puerto Morelos. I would highly recommend this place to friends and family, and in fact, already have. It is a great value and it will be my new (and less expensive) Hawaii.... that is to say, I plan on returning regularly.

A Little Slice of Heaven

Playa del Secreto is synonymous with paradise! When looking for a beach front vacation destination, Playa del Secreto is a must-stay vacation spot! No one can compare to Doy and her staff in making your vacation a little piece of Heaven. The villa is beautifully decorated, the meals are scrumptious, the grounds are gorgeous, the hot tub evokes serenity. Once outside, the infinity pool overlooks the turquoise blue Caribbean and sandy beaches - it is a breath-taking view. Every attention is paid to detail; every wish is accommodated. Although there is no need to go anywhere, Doy is wonderful at making suggestions of places to go, things to do and see. I have vacationed here several times; every time I have to leave, I can't wait to go back. Re-entry into the real world is a harsh reality after staying being here!

Relaxation at its finest!

I spent four fantastic days here the first of October. The weather and the beach were beautiful! The villa is everything you would want in a place to just hang out and relax. Having a pool right outside your villa is the BEST!! The food and drinks were great.. we could have just about anything we wanted. The staff was attentive and very pleasant. I felt completely safe and taken care of here. I would not hesitate to recommend to my friends and family. If you want to get away from the big touristy places in Cancun or Playa this is were you want to be.

Great Getaway

Awesome experience! This villa is everything it is said to be and more! It is very well taken care of. The owner makes you fell right at home and will help you with anything you would like to do on or off the property. I would recommend this property to anyone. It is the best place to stay in all of Mexico!
