This cozy, two bedroom condo is located just a few minutes from the slopes of Sugar Mountain and is perfect for your mountain getaway. After a long day of activities on Sugar Mountain and surrounding areas, this mountainside condo is the perfect place to relax. The main level includes a living room , fully furnished kitchen area, king size bedroom, and a full bath. The second bedroom located downstairs has two queen beds and a full bath with a private entrance. There is a full sofa bed and a flat-screen TV in the living room area. Complimentary WiFi and Cable TV are available for your enjoyment. Each floor of the unit has accessible balconies to enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of Sugar Mountain.
Non-smoking, Absolutely NO Pets from December through March. Pet-friendly may be available seasonally. There are pet size/breed and number restrictions please confirm with us before booking. Please acknowledge that there is a $100 pet fee(per pet).

No Check-in's Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. All guests required to sign rental agreement upon booking.

Only 1 parking permit allowed

Nice Place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a nice quaint place. Perfect t to crash after snowboarding all day. Kitchen was small but perfect size for what we were doing. Place was clean, beds comfy. Washer and dryer are such a nice touch to have. Very close to slopes and although we didn’t walk, i believe you can. Only issue is that the walk down to the door is super super hard when it’s snowed over and ice. There’s no salt in the place to help salt the stairs. If you’re older (unstable, easily fall) and going during a winter storm, I’d sadly say this isnt the place for you. We made it down and up each time but rather questionable.

Close to the slopes but very quiet. Sad to see all the damage from the hurricane but other than the parking congestion the property was fine. Nice rental, I’d rent this property again.

New Year's Eve at Sugar

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect location, walk to the slopes. We've been coming and staying at different units in the Timbers for the last six years. This unit was great. It seems as if the kitchen was recently renovated, which was very nice, but dark with only one dim light in the ceiling. We were able to move a lamp from another location onto the kitchen . The only thing that we felt was missing was a coffee table for games and puzzles etc. There is a very large kitchen counter, but there is no table for eating so a coffee table would've been nice. The only issue was the fireplace pilot light did not stay lit. I called after hours and they sent a very nice man over who said there was a part that was cracked that was preventing it from staying lit and that the owner would be contacted so they could send someone out to replace the part as soon as possible. Luckily he was able to rig it somehow so that it stayed on temporarily because the temperature dropped to 13° that night. He said it could go off at any time but luckily it stayed on. Nobody ever came and they didn't call us and let us know anything. Hopefully they were able to get that fixed for the next tenants. We would definitely come again!

It was a weekend away

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The numbering system has always been poor, but after some hunting we found the unit. Having no hot water was another issue. A few hours later we got a return call and found the value. The unit is older, the wifi (and TV) were spotty, and the 2 forks isn't enough. It was okay for what we needed which was a place to sleep and shower.

As Advertised!

This is not the fanciest of places but it was clean, comfortable and inexpensive. A little old fashioned by today's standards but you do have to go by the management company office to pick up a key - not a big deal though as it's pretty close to where the property is located. The only real negatives I have to say about the property is the lighting in the bedroom upstairs is awful with one of the lamps acting like it was on a timer and would turn off periodically, the frying pan needs to be replaced as it has some sort of blue substance all over it and the parking kind of turns into the wild west! Apparently no one cares about parking in their designated spots.. All in all thoughm I would stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Steps were pretty rough getting down to the unit. I can only imagine if they were covered in snow. Spiral staircase inside was pretty rough too. Kids were scared to go up and down it. Otherwise, it was a great place. The units could be marked better. It took us a while to figure it out. Getting to and from the shuttle bus wasn't easy carrying skis and poles and in ski boots. Kids struggled with that.

We will pass your comments along to the homeowner about the sets of steps. We do try to keep them shoveled in the winter when it snows. Unfortunately, carrying ski equipment can be cumbersome. The shuttle is a free service organized by the Village of Sugar Mountain and we have no control over their routes/stops. We would welcome an email addressing the concerns with the property manager rating so we can work to improve our service. Thank you for recommending the unit and we look forward to your next visit.

Poor communication, broken stuff, updates needed

Had no communication from the agency or owner until around 2:00 on day of check in, and I initiated it. Asked if unit might be ready early and they said yes! So we got there and received no code by 4. I had to call 3 times to finally receive the code by about 4:35. Just not at all what you’re looking for after skiing all day, with three kids, etc. they said they had 58 check ins that day which I understand but the reservation is for 4pm. Once inside, greeted with a dishwasher broken sign and instructions to hand wash dishes. Great but there’s no dishwashing soap (makes you wonder about cleanliness of dishes we had to eat off of). Tv situation is terrible. Really old “smart” tv in living room. Couldn’t add YouTube tv or any other app to it. TVs are like 200 now. Updating would be easy. Broken closet door downstairs barely concealing wadded up old blankets and pillows. Trash and food behind furniture in bedrooms. Leaky faucets. Bathroom in need of serious repair. I imagine it’s tough to keep these places nIce with all the snow and ice being tracked in. We were super careful and luckily I keep beach towels in my truck that we put down. But if you’re going to own and rent these units you have to keep them up. I would skip this one if I were looking to rent at Sugar, and I don’t normally do that to owners of rentals.

My family ended up being 10 minutes apart, which was not convenient or what we paid for. Timbers 13 was extremely nasty, we had no TV remote for the first 24 hours we were there. I would NEVER recommend this property or rental agency to anyone.

Small gem

The Timber’s were nice, the only complaint is the parking. We were told two cars would fit and it was a chore to find a space. Everything else was as advertised!

Great location

The cabin is exactly as seen in the photos. If you are skiing at Sugar it is a great location. The beds are all comfortable. It is two stories, with two double beds downstairs and a master upstairs. Everything worked, appliances and TVs. We has a great time and would stay here again.
