Quaint Yet Spacious Family Vacation Home.

Spacious 2 bedroom home located in the heart of Carlsbad. Beautiful Luxury Vinyl Plank floors thru out the house and Carpet in each bedroom. Both bedrooms are very spacious and fully furnished with a TV and a DVD Player. The south bedroom features a comfortable queen size bed and has a large spacious closet and a Roku TV. The north bedroom features a full size day bed with a very comfortable tempurpedic mattress. It also features a make up vanity, mirror & bench, TV and hair dryer.. Also provided is a 4” inch Tri-Folding Memory Foam Mattress's that the kids and teens alike can use to sleep on, or just relax on while watching TV or playing board games. A memory foam futon couch/sleeper is located in the spacious utility wash room and features a door for privacy. A foldaway comfortable single sleep coleman cot is also provided.

Recline and stream a good movie on the Ruku TV with theater sound while you relax comfortably in the spacious living room that is open to a fully stocked and well equipped kitchen. A handful of spices, Olive Oil, and Coffee are provided.

Feel like grilling outside instead? Take your pick of a full size gas grill or a charcoal grill on the back patio that stays shaded all day long during the summer season.

Enjoy a game of Cornhole Toss Board Game in the large big back yard that is fenced in and offers plenty of shade and privacy. Enjoy your morning coffee or your favorite beverage sitting on the back patio swing.

The home has a full size washer & dryer, iron and ironing board. Laundry soap, bleach, and dryer sheets are also provided for your convenience.

The living room has a computer desk & chair for business time. You will also find some board games and a selection of DVD movies for family fun time!

Bar soap, hand soap, hand sanitizer, and shampoo are provided in the full bathroom that has a tub & shower combination that features a hand held detachable shower head. Bath Towels and linens are provided.

Need or forgot something? La Tienda Grocery Super Market is just 3 blocks away.

The home is only minutes away from the River Walk and the Carlsbad Beach that now features a new Water Park attraction.

Great location for visiting Carlsbad Caverns!

Owner was easily reached for communication and the house was clean and ready for our stay … it was appointed just as noted in the listing and perfect for our needs.

Stay at Quaint but Spacious Vacation Home

Centrally located home, that made navigation in and around the area easy. Owner/host was overly accomodating going above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. House that feels like a home, feels lived in but cozy. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Stay!

This was perfect for what we wanted! The location couldn't be better and the list of local stores/restaurants provided was just what we needed. Donny was responsive and helpful, and made our stay even better than we thought it would be. Check in was beyond simple. Highly recommend.

This was the cleanest VRBO we have stayed in. Location was perfect for our hiking in McKittrick Canyon. Thank you for the surprise water and fruit/veggie tray! We will be back!

Had a wonderful stay at this quaint home while checking out the sights of Carlsbad. We visited the caves 25 minutes away and was 5 minutes away from the Pecos River . The place was so clean. There were plenty of pillows and extra blankets, complimentary coffee, and the host was readily available, kind, and considerate. He demonstrated that by shipping me my sweater that I had left behind. Thanks Donny for being an exceptional host and making us feel so welcome in your home!

Great house

This house was great for my family (2 adults, 2 kids). Living room is spacious and the backyard with swingset was perfect for the kids. The owner was prompt with communications and very friendly - even left us some fruit and bottled water in the fridge! The *only* drawback, which was nothing to do with the house itself or the owner, is that it is located very near a church with a bell tower. The bells would ring starting at 6:00am and would ring every half-hour until the evening - which made it tough to "sleep in" while on vacation. I'm a light sleeper, so was easily woken by the bells...a heavier sleeper might not be. Overall though, we had a great experience at the house - a very good value in Carlsbad and good location if you're going to the caverns!

Tremendous Host but Furniture "Tired"

Property was comfortable but it seemed the A/C did not disperse well throughout the bedrooms & den. It ran a lot, but did not seem to truly cool down to the 74 degrees the thermostat was registering. Our of fairness, the days were getting up to well over 100 degrees. Also the recliners worked poorly. Some would not retract from an extended position and some would not extend our at all. Time for some new furniture, I think.

In Carlsbad for work

Older house in a neighborhood 2 blocks off main highway. Easy getting on and off. 2 of the footrest on the reclining couches would not go down but I made do. If you like sleeping with a cold A/C then you can't here. There are specific instructions to not put the thermostat below 72. There are ceiling fans & portable fans in the rooms so I still slept comfortable but it will get warm when in the kitchen if you're cooking. Washer & dryer was very convenient for me. Donny was very communicative on checking on me as well as notifying me of when he would be over to turn the yard sprinklers on. The neighbors next door do have a lot of vehicles in the street so if you come in more than 1 vehicle make sure you ask Donny where you can park the other vehicles. He does have a portable garage but my 3/4 ton truck could not fit under it so I parked in the driveway still within the property fencing. Plenty of dishes, glasses, linens, and utensils. There's no kitchen or dining room table but the snack bar can accommodate 3 people. Wifi was kinda slow at times while using my computer for work so I don't know how it would be for streaming movies.

Perfect Place for Families (or for anyone)

This home couldn’t have been more perfect for us. The place was clean and well stocked with most all your needs. We were looking for clean, safe, and comfortable and we found that in this home. We will definitely use it as a first choice when returning to visit. The owners really seem to put time and effort into providing you a pleasant home. Thanks again to y’all for everything!

Excellent location

Close to Carlsbad State Park, and not a bad drive to Roswell. You can walk over to the park to play with kids. The host was awesome and checked on us daily to make sure everything was good. I would stay here again.

Awesome stay

Visiting Carlsbad national Park

Visiting Carlsbad national Park. We also we’re hiking in Guadalupe national Park so this location served both areas very well. We found our host very responsive and the house very clean.

Very nice house. Well equipped kitchen.

Great little house with a well equipped kitchen. Owner has labeled light switches, etc so it us easy to figure things out. Nice laundry facilities. Close to shopping and restaurants but in a quiet neighborhood. Good communication with owner. Great place.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

I absolutely fell in love with all of tree's that surround this property. And when the leaves are on the tree's there is plenty of shade everywhere! I totally enjoyed the back patio as it remains shaded thru out the entire day during the summer season. Love the huge fenced in back yard and the summer nights just sitting outside gazing at the stars. I also loved the fact that I was literally just a few blocks away from my next fishing adventure!
