Enjoy long range Mountain View’s from the entry area of this top floor end unit. During cool autumn and cold winter days and nights, bask in the warmth of the large stone fireplace. The unit’s back deck nestled among the trees offers a virtual private mountain retreat. Access To Beech’s Alpine Village for skiing/snow tubing/ice skating is just a short walk away. The High Country world that is Beech Mountain literally begins at the condo’s door step.

The Space:

This cozy two bedroom, two bath unit sleeps a maximum of 4 guests with deck access from each bedroom and the living room. The condo has a washer/dryer in the unit. The fireplace with gas logs create a cozy cabin feel. In the summer take in the cool mountain air at an altitude of 4700 feet. Here summer temps rarely go north of 79 degrees. A virtual private mountain retreat nestled among the trees awaits you on the unit’s back deck. Do not be surprised to see deer that frequent the woods below the deck and graze in the grass next to the condo’s parking area.

There are no accommodations closer than our condos to Beech’s Alpine Village with its skiing/snow tubing/ice skating. Enjoy a brew at Beech Mountain Brewing Company, located in the Village, and walk back to the condo.

Summertime on the Mountain is rapidly making it an outdoor sports Mecca. Whether you enjoy mountain biking, hiking some of the 28 miles of trails on Beech, fishing or you simply want to get in some gym time at the Buckeye Recreation Center (nominal $3/day fee), Beech has it all.

The condo is a short five-minute drive to Fred’s Mercantile store “Fred’s” where you can find most anything you need for a long weekend on Beech.

There is a stack W/D in the closet of the master bedroom with hanging space. There is also a closet in the other bedroom with hanging space. Several of the closets are locked for cleaning supplies and owner’s personal items.

Great place!

Very clean and nice little place to stay. Right beside the ski resort. Everything had instructions on how to use (fireplace, etc).. very happy and would def stay again.

Last minute ski trip!

Great location next to Beech Mountain. Walk (or short drive) to the slopes. Coffee shop next door. Enjoy your apres ski with the deer on the back deck. Comfortable, modern furnishings; well-appointed kitchen for basic cooking.

The condo was spotless and had everything that we needed. Check in was seamless and the hosts were great to work with. We really enjoyed our time on the mountain and look forward to another visit!

Comfortable stay at Beech Mountain condo

The host is easy to communicate with and responds quickly. The check in process is good. The condo was very clean and well equipped. Nice location near the Beech Mountain ski village and a few miles from Banner Elk. Overall a nice condo for our stay.

Great stay

This owner has been one of the best people to rent from. If we had a question or problem he would get back to us in no time. Having that made staying here easier. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.

Great family condo near Beech

We enjoyed our stay during MLK weekend. We were able to park our car and walk everywhere else. The unit was very relaxing and neighbors were quiet. The appliances were all in great shape and we loved the fireplace. Best part was being able to walk to the slopes. We also chose to walk down the hill to grab dinner. Kitchen is fully equipped so bringing groceries with you and making dinner is a great way to go, esp if you are concerned with driving in bad weather.

Good quick getaway

Spent 4 nights mid week in Feb with myself and adult son to hit Beech mnt and ski. Unit was a nice surprise as was nicer in person than pictures. Kitchen is small but had all the pots)pans/utensils to cook the basics. Would not want to cook thanksgiving dinner in tight place but perfect for the two of us. Main Bedroom is a nice size with small full bath and sliders to back deck. 2nd bedroom tighter but fine for shorter stay. Unit is only steps from Beech Ski Resort parking lot #2 so great for walking to slopes (a bit far with ski boots on so plan on a locker for shoes at resort) Don't let the exterior of units building discourage you as the unit inside is new and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay and would consider same unit in future ski trips.A bonus to the stay was the deer feed from a near by unit. One morning had over a dozen deer just out the back deck sliding doors. From 8 point buck to small juveniles grazing and lounging long enough for us to get bored.

Great Location close to Beech Mt Ski Resort

We were able to optimize our ski/snowboarding experience by coming during the week to avoid weekend crowds. The location is super close to ski resort, very convenient. The plumbing in one of the showers was a little tricky and the place makes weird noise, but we figured it's the heating baseboards. Perfect place to stay and spend the days on the slopes. Super cute and cozy.

Snowboarders paradise

John was such an amazing host! He answered right away anytime we reached out to him. They were expecting a big snow storm & instead of John allowing us to figure this out on our own he messaged me & offered us different dates If we felt as though we did not want to risk not making it up the mountain after a foot of snow falling. He worked with us on the dates & got us in 2 days after! He is so kind & helpful & we will definitely be staying at his home away from home in the future!

Amazing Property

We have stayed in the same area but different condo. This location is the best we stayed in. Plenty of room, easy to follow instructions, and great location to walk to the slopes. The only complaint was it did get really hot in the condo and we couldn't figure out how to turn down the heat. This wouldn't have been an issue if it wasn't 60 degrees outside. Overall this place is definitely a 5 star and will be trying to book another time this season.

Not the view we expected. Garbage removal could have been an issue. We only had one bag in 3 nights, no extra bags provided on site. Great location, communication with property manager was good. Will use property again, will be better prepared for previous unknowns. Thank you

Awesome stay

This unit was a great value! While the property is older, it has been well maintained and very clean. There is no air conditioning, however there are fans and the condo stays completely comfortable. The owner was more than accommodating as well as accessible. He answered all of my questions with speed! My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Overall it was ok. Definitely need's spring cleaning inside & out. Very nice fireplace & TV. The locks could use an upgrade. We were ok with it. The outside furniture could use a cleaning.

Exactly as you would expect at a ski resort location. (We did not ski)Everything we needed for a 2 night stay was supplied. Tidy, well kept condo. We loved the gas log fireplace & the secluded patio/deck . Beautiful sky views at night. My only disappointment was the condo could do with a deep cleaning. Overall a great place to stay

Perfect for us

We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo was incredibly clean and cozy. The beds were really comfortable! It was close to the slopes. My only negative was we came a little late in the season and missed most of the snow. Luckily the ski resort had enough left for the kids to get a couple ski days in. All in all, it was a great stay! Thanks for sharing your space with our family!!!

Wonderful getaway

From the moment we drove up to this property - we were very happy as it is directly across the street from the parking lot for Beech Mountain resort. The inside is very cozy and very well stocked. The beds were very comfortable as were the couches and living room. It is a bit dated but that didn't affect our stay at all. The fireplace really made our stay even more enjoyable as we enjoyed watching TV by the fire after a long day out in the snow. We had a small issue while we were there and the owner was extremely quick to resolve it and make sure that we were happy. Overall - excellent location, cozy condo and amazing service from the owner.
