This home offers two levels so family and friends can spread out and relax, as well as a patio off the dining room and a shared pool.

The white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico are a short walk from this unit. The complex offers private beach access for guests to enjoy. Several shopping options are available like the Silver Sands Outlet Mall or the Destin Commons. Find the perfect beach souvenir at any one of the beach stores located nearby. Dining on local seafood will be easy with many restaurants nearby, like Pompano Joe's or the Crab Trap.

Great location for family beach trip

Stayed 3 days for family beach trip. Great location and quite neighborhood. Private beach is nice but personal beach tent and canopy is not allowed. This makes you have to use rental chairs and shade.

Great space for family fun

I booked this home for a family trip for a wedding in Destin. This home was an ideal choice for this type of trip. The unit was spacious enough to accommodate our family and the multiple bathrooms and ample kitchen space made meals and getting ready less stressful. The home is situated towards the back of the community which kept the street noise away yet very accessible to the beach and pool. Overall a great stay!

Spring Break 2024

Great location beautiful home just as expected and love how close it was to the beach. Our neighbors were friendly and we enjoyed our stay would definitely stay again in the future. Only thing that was remotely a hiccup was the driveway being paved we had to park a little farther away for a couple days but it wasnā€™t a problem and we understood the reason why. Canā€™t wait to go back soon. Close to shopping, restaurants, beach and entertainment.

Very nice place right by the ocean

We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that happened was the water leaking in the down stairs bathroom from the air conditioner. They came and fixed it the next day and everything was fine after that. I wish they would have left more dishwasher detergent so I could have done the dishes more often. Also, the pool was close for a day. It was the most amazing vacation right next to the ocean. We made some great memories! Absolutely beautiful views and the condo looked really nice and clean inside. We are going to go back to this same place next time. Thanks Vacasa for the great customer service and for letting us check in a little early!

Perfect spot for beach vaca!

This was my 2nd time staying in this Townhouse! It's the perfect location, clean, quiet neighbors! The private beach was the best! It was never packed and the water was perfect for kids.. This will always be the location I choose for a beach stay in Florida!

Great 2 day trip. Condo was everything we expected and had no issues. It would be nice if the condo association would ban tents on the beach as most other property owners have done. Very intrusive.

Third Time

This is out third time staying in this condo. We love it! It is about a 2min walk to the ocean water with private beach access! We love that the price is unbelievable! It is always clean. We love having access without having to ride an elevator, we can leave our beach stuff out front to dry or around back after taking showers on the porch. Everyone is always so friendly there. Thank you for allowing us to create wonderful family beach vacation memories!!

Excellent Condo

I've stayed at Gulf Winds before. This unit is super NICE, updated and neatly decorated. I loved that there is no carpet - feels cleaner. Bedding: Sheets for sofabed were wrapped in plastic which sent the message they were clean. The sofabed, blanket and extra pillows did have a bit of a smell - maybe from the stuffing. TVs and internet. TVs worked well and internet was decent. We used my cellphone for hotspot for a download. Bathrooms. Clean and worked well. Many clean towels, including wash towels, were stocked. Only 1 shampoo and 1 conditioner little bottles per bathroom, so bring extra. Kitchen. Not used much, but looked clean and well stocked. There was a small dish detergent, papertowel and dishwasher and laundry pods. Perfect for a short stay. Dining table and chair were nice and sturdy. Location. Walking distance to the private beach entrance. I recommend a wagon if you are carrying more than 2 beach chairs or a wheeled cooler. There are a few restaurants within walking distance or a short drive for more several more selections. Pool. Nice size. 3-foot to 6-foot deep. Not a heated pool (after 7pm in September, it was too cold to be there more than 20-30 minutes). For Improvement (which is true for most condos): the mattresses on the beds and sofa beds need replacing, particularly the sofa bed. We all woke up sore, although nothing an ibuprofen can't fix. I would definitely stay here again and recommended.

Second time here

This is our second time staying here. It is the perfect distance from the beach and the pool. Plenty of pillows, blankets and towels. We love that it has the half bath downstairs and an outdoor shower on the back porch. My only complaints are all of the dishes were dirty when we arrived. Which isn't a big deal, I just pulled them all out of the cabinets and washed them. The description says it comes with two parking spots but many times if we left, when we would return someone else would be parked in one of our parking spots.

Beautiful home! Great week!

Crisp, clean, beautiful ocean home with a great straight-shot balcony view of the ocean. The short walk to the private beach made this the perfect place for our family to stay. I never wanted to leave and will definitely be back and book at #39 again!

Just fyi for future renters, there was no laundry detergent provided so consider bringing your own if you want to wash clothes. You get 2 parking spots with no extra fees for passes. We got there early hoping the code would work but it didnā€™t until 4. The beach access is about a 2 minute walk directly in front of the condo, not a bad walk at all. The main thing that was annoying for us was no shower to hose off with. The only one was on our back patio which meant trailing sand through the condo to go wash off in the back. Even at the pool there was no shower to clean sand off with before getting in, or we couldnā€™t find one at least. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this condo.

Nice Place!

This townhouse is exactly as pictured. Very nice furnishings and made our family feel right at home. This unit is located in the back of the complex so no traffic noise or disruptions. Short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. I would rent this townhome again for my family. The owners do own a "Ring" system so I'm sure if they review the tape's they will get a big laugh at my 11 year old chasing lizards throughout the day!
