The Host very welcoming and accommodating. The location was perfect. The cabin was very clean and well equipped The only negatives were too little furniture for the amount of guests it sleeps. The dining chairs in the lower level are rickety and dangerous. No broom to seep away the dead beetles from the patio and path to the hot tub.Suggestions to make it better: 1) more comfortable furniture. 2) replace dining chairs in lower level.3) A broom for minor clean up.Our family had a wonderful time ! We will be back!

Serene cabin

We wanted a peaceful getaway and we got exactly that. Some of our group chose to do hiking and some chose to stay in and it was a perfect area. Will definitely book again in the future

Family Christmas 2024

Our cabin was perfect for what we needed. We had 9 adults, 2 infants. 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. 2 WOOD BURNING fireplaces that made the holiday seem magical.This was the first time our entire family got together for Christmas and it was the best Christmas we ever had. Cozy but not cramped. The adult children enjoyed playing pool and games. Trails on property were not strenuous but nice to get out and walk. Our dogs loved it. Would highly suggest this cabin for a family get away.

Had a wonderful time with my adult kids and their spouses. The place fit us perfect with actual private bedrooms for us all ! The fire place was a great touch and made it feel cozy . Would highly recommend for big families !

Don't miss this fun place !

Nicely layed out. Fun activities for the grandchildren. We had a ball hiking in the nearby woods. TV reception not that good for big, important sports games but the children loved learning how to play pool. Hot tub very nice. Beware of the crooked, brick walkway and the front porch steps that tend to lean a little too far forward for any elderly members of your party. Nice ammenities with toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, soap, dish soap and dishwasher soap provided. Could use more dishes and spoons. Very nice fireplaces. Fun memories made by all.

Perfect for family get together!

Loved the property. Very conveniently located. Large grocery store, hiking trails, Mohican State Park and antique stores near by. Kitchen was very well stocked with cooking items. Hot tub was great for use on the cool nights. For us, it was the perfect time of year to rent. Nothing was crowded and that makes hiking easier with young ones and better photo opportunities. Large kitchen table that allowed all of us to eat together. Owners emailed us to be sure we had no issues getting in and that all was good. We were given numbers to call if we had a problem (we had none) but nice of them to check.

Family Getaway

Our family had the most amazing time. The photos and description were spot on. The house is updated and very well kept, super clean. The owners were easy to contact and the property sits close to all of the attractions you would want, while being tucked away for privacy and quiet. We will definitely be back!

Relaxing Family Getaway

We enjoyed our stay very much. Quiet, beautiful view and property, loved that the table could accommodate all of us. Lacked for nothing. The owner was quick to respond to any question. I wish the ceiling fans in the upstairs bedrooms had not been replaced by light fixtures.

Perfect Summer Gathering

We had a wonderful long weekend of family fun at Crockettā€™s Run! The property was very nice, clean and was located near great scenic trails. The fire pit was a hit for sā€™mores, and the hot tub was great after a long hike. If youā€™re looking for a place for a good size group in the Hocking Hills area, I highly recommend it. Communication with the hosts was great and the instructional email they provided us beforehand told us everything we needed to know. Thank you so much!

Family vacation

Nice property. Plenty of room for 10 family members and the teens really enjoyed game room. Dish TV was inconsistent but mostly due to weather. We brought towels and bed linens due to reviews about smoke smells, but didnā€™t need them. The hot tub was nice and clean.

All we could ask for

This was an excellent place for our family vacation. We really enjoyed the property. Ben and Megan were always accessible for any questions that came up. The cabin was fully stocked and clean.The A/C quit working the last full day we were there but Ben sent a technician to check it out pretty quickly. Things happen. We look forward to renting this cabin next year. Thanks again Ben and Megan.

Family Vacation

The bedroom and bathroom set up worked perfectly for our family. We had a couple of toddlers who were able to play upstairs, downstairs and on the deck just great. We loved the trail on the property. The location was great to meet up with extended family for hiking and picnicking together at various parks nearby. Enjoyed the hot tub as well! We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Weekend stay

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The drive to hocking hills is about 30 mins away. There is a walmart and Logans antique mall 13 minutes away. A kroger, CVS and other fast food options around too. A nice little area to walk around with the family & with kiddos. The playground is near the pond area. There isnt a washer and dryer, which is okay. There is a pool table and the family enjoyed many games. A couple down falls, the closet in one of the upstairs restroom smelled like cigarette smoke as well as the towels provided in the downstairs restroom. The two downstairs bedrooms had an odd smell in one of the closets and the other room, most of the bedsheets had to be taken off due to having an unpleasant smell. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Summer get away

The canin was awesome. Comfy beds the hiking and waterfalls on property were great! The younger kids love playing in the creek and the fish pond.And everyone loved making smores by the camp fire.

Family getaway

The cabin is just 25 min away from caves and hiking. Plus thereā€™s hiking on the property and a small pond. My family and 2 dogs had a great time!

Loved it!

Check in was seamless and the property was incredibly cozy! The only bump in the road was the hot tub breaking down but we were offered to use the hot tub at a vacant cabin nearby which was very considerate and appreciated!! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and I only wish we wouldā€™ve stayed longer! Would definitely recommend.
