The two bedrooms on the first floor are designed to be snug and cozy, offering a comfortable stay for up to three guests in bunk bedroom and two in queen bedroom.

2) Please consider travel insurance for inclement weather events. We are unable to provide a refund due to weather related events.

3) For the BBQ grill, you can buy propane from the nearby Family Dollar store.

4) For the firewood, you can buy it from the nearby Laurelville market.



We have stocked the cabin with basic necessities. For anything extra, Young's Family Market is just down the road (open until 8 PM).

Cabin Experience
Our cozy retreat in Hocking Hills is the perfect place to relax and unplug. Please note:

We have a Kinetico water filtration system for the cabin’s well water and have also provided a Bluvua RO filter in the kitchen for guests who prefer additional filtration. Some guests still choose to bring bottled water.

Cell service can be spotty in the area, but we do have reliable Frontier WiFi for staying connected.

Weather can be unpredictable in this natural setting - please come prepared for changing conditions.

Coexisting with Nature
Our home is surrounded by nature, and sometimes nature finds its way indoors. We use professional pest control services, but please keep doors closed to minimize encounters.

Security & Guest Policy
For everyone’s safety, a security camera is installed at the front of the cabin. Please do not tamper with it. The camera helps ensure the number of guests matches the reservation. Only registered guests are allowed; no outside visitors or third-party bookings.

Refunds & Weather
We cannot offer refunds for weather events, natural disasters, or power outages. If you’re concerned, we recommend purchasing travel insurance for peace of mind.

Damage & Cleaning Fees
A $200 fee applies for any rule violation, in addition to costs for any extra cleaning or damages.

Got a message while on the way to the cabin about water damage but that everything was made safe and was ready for our stay. Next thing I know 15mins away from the cabin and I have a message saying reservation was canceled and here’s my refund. No explanation and I never said we wanted to cancel. I called the host, it went straight to voicemail and I left a message. I sent a message to the host also on the app and just never heard back. Terrible communication and had to contact customer service on the way, in the car to try and book another place to stay. Ended up having to stay in a hotel for a night and change all of our plans as it was nowhere near where we booked originally.

Hot tub was very dirty, we didn't get in it. Everything else was really clean. Beds are not very comfortable.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, the inside was immaculate, the hot tub was clean, the fire pit was great. It is truly a wonderful home that is laid out perfectly. Our one complaint is that there is no green space. The back area is a straight climb up and the front is gravel. We went for a trip with our 10 year old boys, who wanted to do nothing but play football the entire time, but there is nowhere to play that is ON PROPERTY. Both properties on the right and the left have green space, but there are multiple "No Trespassing" signs and they mean it. We were harassed relentlessly by one neighbor, who lives there full time, to get off her green space, screaming at the boys. The boys then played at the empty cabins on the other side of the property, until other neighbors that watch that property came over and (very nicely) explained we cannot let the boys on that property either. I only caution this, because if you have a group of kids that are wanting to explore and play outside in the area, this is not the best location. If this is trip with adult friends, spouses, older kids, it is a fabulous property. The home is truly perfect on the inside so it is impossible to not give it five stars, the green space issue is not this properties fault. I wish they had room to allow kids to run free, but the neighbors, unfortunately, make that impossible.

The place was quiet. Appliances were nice and we enjoyed the fire pit. The hot tub was nice The first few days, but it smelled of mildew by day 3. There were three half dried dog urine puddles in the living room I had to clean up as soon as we got there. On day two, there was no water for the house for at least four hours until more water could be delivered. So we couldn't wash our hands, shower or even flush the toilet for that amount of time. I don't believe the floors were mopped before we arrived. They were very dirty. The internet kept going in and out. The pool table is uneven with the tips missing off the end of the pool sticks making it difficult to enjoy. The axe throwing that was advertised is a plastic child's game that is in poor shape. On day 3 we wanted to go out as a family and the door lock battery was dead and we couldn't lock the door. So my husband had to stay behind. The owner was made aware of these issues and did not even offer ant type of refund for our stay. This is poorly managed and way over priced for the experience we got.

I’m not sure the cleaning crew did anything. The bedding wasn’t washed, the trash out front is overflowing. The floors are dirty, a lot of muddy stains and random clumps of grass and debris. There are also a ton of insects and spiders in the house. Specifically the ceiling, I went through and cleaned out almost every room killing and removing over 30 bugs/ spiders. The hot tub also does not appear to be clean, very cloudy and muddy looking water. The yard smelled like sewage I’m sure from septic system not functioning properly. The dishwasher from the previous group was loaded with dirty dishes.We were disappointed with the overall presentation and cleanliness of the property. Check in was fine.
