This beautiful island rental offers many amenities and plenty of room. There's plenty to do at this home, with a furnished deck to watch the sunset and a downstairs patio, complete with a gas grill. This spacious rental also has a full kitchen and well-appointed living spaces with comfortable furniture to relax on at the end of an exciting day out.

WHAT’S NEARBY
Located in the middle of Galveston Island, within the Pirates Beach subdivision, you are only a few blocks from the water and miles of sandy beach. Take a ten-mile drive up the seawall and enjoy several souvenir shops, restaurants, and places for fun and entertainment, including the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier.

For Pirates Beach, quiet hours begin at 10 pm.
Parties are prohibited.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Very comfortable. Really enjoyed the home and the beach. Outdoor furniture was in kinda rough shape but other than that the house was very nice.

The beach was so close. There is a small grocery store across the street that was convenient. The neighborhood was full of beach houses, very pretty.

Near the Beach

This home provided nice access to the beach and room for our family of six to enjoy a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pan, silverware, etc. We really appreciated access to the washer and dryer to wash and dry clothes for the next leg of our journey.

Very nice Galveston house

We enjoyed ourselves quite a bit, especially for the (relatively) modest price. Wish the house was closer to the beach than the road, but it still had great breezes. Some of the dishes and utensils weren’t so spotless, but we noticed ourselves that the dishwasher’s a bit weak. Still, very lovely decor & nice & airy!

Ok house

The house is old and you can really see the wear in it. Overall not bad, we just stayed a couple of nights before a cruise, definitely would not have enjoyed it, if we had to stay longer. The house was not that clean, floors were dirty and food crumbs were left in the kids bunkbeds. Shelfs on bunkbeds were not cleaned off as well and had dirt build up on them. Throw pillows are old and some are stained. The new property manager did contact us after we checked out and apologized for the dirtiness and did give us a partial cleaning fee refund. Overall not too bad, prob wouldn't stay for longer than couple of nights.

Trailer park rental

Worst rental ever. The decor and main room were as advertised but the floor was super dirty, filthy and greasy. We didn’t noticed until we took our kids white shoe off and it was black. We had to wear flip flops the whole 3 days. Each step was pluck pluck pluck. The rest of the place felt like we were in a trailer home. The floor was on even. The toilets were terrible small. The pots and pans were piled on each other. We went offshore fishing and planned to grill but the grill was usable. Overall terrible experience. We felt like I was in RV park trailer.

Zero, on customer service

The home was fine. Everything seemed to function other than water not draining quickly as you shower. The layout was fine for us and the bedding was comfortable. It offered plenty of kitchen gadgets, pots and pans. The problem here which was a huge one is the lack of respect in leaving us for TWO DAYS without a single wash cloth or hand towel. As soon as we arrived, I contacted Vacasa about this. For 2 days, I was put off with texts saying to have patience and they had reached out to the local property manager. Eventually I was told she was out, on vacation possibly. Guess who else was on vacation? A paying customer. Us, With no towels. When she finally came, I was away but my husband accepted them from her. No apology or anything. It amazes me how customer service is almost non-existent these days.

Your stress melts away----beautiful and inviting

This place was so relaxing and inviting. Great space and had everything you could ask for inside. Convenient to the beach ---AND has the most amazing porch and sitting area to let the breeze take all the stress away. Love it and will return again!!!!

Great stay for family

Overall it was a great stay for my family and friends. House is nice with excellent kitchen. The only downside was the grill advertised does not work so we were unable to grill the meats that we brought. Recommend renting a golf cart. It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach. I would stay again.

Just wonderful

Very clean and well organized. Wonderful location, fully equipped kitchen and butlers pantry. We could have lived outside with all the patio furniture. Bed were beyond comfortable. Can't wait to come back

Great for a large family

Easy check in and out. Plenty of beds for our teenage children plus our family dog! It’s perfectly placed as to not be far from either end of the island. Plenty of soaps, towels and dishes provided. Nice yard for the dog to stretch his tiny legs and run around. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

House is in a good location. About 2-3 blocks from the beach. Kitchen is clean, but one of the cabinets came off of the hinge and I had to repair it. One shower had ants when we arrived and did not drain well. Inner shower curtain had been cut off. Bathrooms need to be updated.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay, comfortable, the house is great, the area is also great but because it is so close to the Sant Louis pass it can be noisy at night. But would definitely go there again.
