Secluded in the beautiful and historic Upper Canyon area with great mountain charm, Relaxation Station is the perfect home base during your Ruidoso vacation. Featuring three-bedrooms and a large loft area. One bedroom has a King while the second has a Queen. The third guest bedroom accommodates two twin beds and the loft room has enough space for two twin and two double beds. Additional sleeping is provided by a futon bed.This home also features four full bathrooms. Sleeping is spacious and can accommodate fourteen guests. You and your guests will love utilizing both the upper front and lower back decks, free WiFi, washer and dryer, window a/c units upstairs ONLY, as well as enjoying the privacy at Relaxation Station.

This beautiful and sweet cabin offers everything you and guests will need during your mountain vacation. When you enter this home, you will notice the main living area and beautiful log burning fireplace, providing an abundance natural charm. You will love the open concept with the main living area and kitchen easily flowing into each other. In the living room, a large couch is available to provide the perfect spot for you and your guests to kick back and relax after a day full of adventures!

The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and freezer, stove top with oven as well as cooking and eating utensils to cook up some delicious meals during your stay at Relaxation Station. The open concept allows you to enjoy your guests while cooking and taking care of the dishes. A large bar top is located in the kitchen to provide additional counter space and seating.

If you want to enjoy the fresh mountain air, take a step out on the front or back deck. On a spacious over-sized lot you will experience full privacy and will love starting your day out here with a warm cup of coffee. There is a table and chairs located on the patio for your enjoyment. Fire up the gas grill and make your dinner outdoors! Enjoy the privacy while enjoying the whisper of the pines and the gurgling song of the river. Relaxation Station is your mountain oasis.

Ruidoso is an alpine mountain community. Expect twisty roads with steep grades. The weather is unpredictable and changes quickly. Elevation can vary between 6000ā€™ to almost 12,000ā€™. Most homes are multi-level with stairs on inclined lots. Expect wildlife to hinder traffic flow. Do not be surprised if the power goes out or when you lose internet or cell phone connection. This is the mountains, and it happens. We encourage guests be prepared with access to chains or 4-wheel drive in winter months for all our properties. This is not the big city. Life is easier and slower paced and more wonderful. This is why we come and why we stay. Relax and enjoy your time in paradise.

Relaxation station

This cabin was soo perfect for our family, 4 rooms and 4 bathrooms. Me and 2 other small families came to this cabin for the 4th of July and enjoyed all of the amenities, hot tub, grill and games that were in the cabin. We got to see deer and a bear that kept coming back daily. I donā€™t have any complains about this cabin.

Our stay was awesome the place was very roomy lots of bathrooms . The area was very quiet and enjoyable. Great Grandchildren enjoyed seeing all the wildlife . Nice place. Accommodates a large crowd.

Our stay was very nice, House and property was great. Love seeing the wildlife. Deer, elk, and bear cub. My grandchildren enjoyed the hot tub.

Great place to stay

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Place was clean and large enough to spread out. Really loved the hot tub and 4 bathrooms, especially for a group of 14! We've stayed in lots of places and this one is definitely in top 3. It had everything we needed plus more.

We loved the location

We loved how the home was setup. The only thing I would improve would be the mattresses and the refrigerator. We love Ruidoso and we rent at least one cabin every year with family. This cabin has great parking space. We loved the hot tub.

Peaceful Place to stay for a Conference

We had a group of ladies stay here while we attended a conference. It was the perfect place to unwind and spend a quiet few hours between sessions relaxing on the back porch. The wildlife all around was a wonderful addition. With a lot of women staying, having 4 clean bathrooms to get ready was priceless! Such a great place!

Wonderful getaway!

My family and my 2 nephews and their families stayed for 6 days/5 nights over New Years 2025. We have 5 children ages 9-11. The "cabin" was spacious and accomodated us very well. Each of the couples had their own bedrooms and the kids slept upstairs in the spacious "loft". I personally liked that the master where my wife and I stayed has its own door and stair access to the driveway. Very convenient for loading and unloading. We loved using the outdoor hot tub every day. The woodburning stove in the living room was a nice feature in the evenings. Close access to grocery and restaurants was a plus too. I highly recommend this property. Giovanni at the property management company was great to communicate with.

Get away

Great area in the woods, saw wild life. The only thing it was hot in the house AC isnā€™t great. Other than that very nice place, plenty of room and the kids loved the hot tub.

The property had some old furniture that needed replacing. The TVs didn't work, but Destiny remedied This after two days. The family complained that it wasn't very clean upon arrival. It also needs more lighting. I like news and watch FOX NEWS and it wasn't available.

Great location but super dirty

The place was close to town but the dirtiest place we had ever been. Trash in the rooms, dirty underwear in the balcony from who knows when. The place has a lot of potential but need an update and a bit of love.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Cozy cabin

Excellent location, great cabin. There were eleven in our party, the cabin had plenty of space, rooms, beds, bathrooms for everyone. The area was decked out for Christmas including lights, decorations and sleigh rides. I would recommend this cabin/area. The only bad thing was the cleanliness of the cabin. I bought some cleaning supplies and cleaned so we could be comfortable. I also bought hand soap because they had bottles of watered down liquid soap, the bottles were all almost empty in all bathrooms. I reported all of this to the rental company so hopefully they take care of this.

Bad communication/misunderstanding

Hot tub was dirty upon arrival, my parents didnā€™t feel like they needed to bother anyone so they just didnā€™t use it and are now getting charged for something the previous renters damaged. Some of the beds were broken as well.

Do not recommend for large groups

The location on the listing was not where the house actually was. There were used diapers on the porch from the previous guest when we arrived. I messaged the host and never got a response. You are not allowed to have 4 cars in the driveway (which is hard when the listing says it can sleep 14 people). Furniture is old and fixing to break. Other than that the house was nice and located in a nice area (even though itā€™s not what we paid for)

We arrived right at check-in time for a three night stay. We walked into a very dated, dirty house with TERRIBLE mattresses. We continued to find things all weekend. Broken furniture, broken window blinds, trash under the beds, TVs that donā€™t work. They only provide 1 extra trash bag and 4 (half used) rolls of toilet paper for a house intended for 14 people (our group had 11). All of the mattress were so hard they were almost unsleepable. Imagine going skiing/snowboarding and coming back to a rock to sleep on. It wasnā€™t all badā€”- the one TV that worked was nice for Netflix and the couch was comfy. The (very dated) appliances all worked (be prepared to dry a load of clothes at least twice). The hot tub was wonderful after a day of skiing. A few things I think the owners should consider- new mattress, an additional dining table as it only seats 6, a TV in the upstairs bedroom, a better cleaning company, the TV fixed in the dining room, a bundle of fire wood, a fire pit for outdoor use. I would not recommend.

Far, Far, Away with No amenities

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found out, a week from leaving, thatā€™s the rental property was NO WHERE near where it was listed on VRBO. It was 2 miles outside of town, with no ability to walk to shops or food. Once there, the blinds were all broken, the back door didnā€™t lock, AND the hot tub needed parts so it wasnā€™t working. We went to turn on the TV, and the sound didnā€™t work their either. (Thank goodness we had brought our own Roku stick because that was the only thing there was to do. All of this sounds terrible, but it got worse. As we all got ready for bed, the downstairs bathroom with the queen bed had been leaking for a while. (We didnā€™t notice when we got there as we were all wearing shoes and the leak didnā€™t show through the carpet in the bathroom.)We had closed the windows when the rains came, so the entire bedroom and bathroom smelled like cat urine. Completely disgusting, and unable to sleep with the smell, the couple staying in that room was resigned to sleep on the living room couches. When we woke to use the grill the next day, it was disgustingly dirty and took 2 hours to fix. The rental property managers did not come to help with ANY of the issues. In fact, they never answered any of our inquiries about getting help with any of it. (My husband worked in construction during his younger days. We arenā€™t novices to taking care of a home. We just didnā€™t anticipate having to do that every day while on vacation.)I have left 3 messages requesting a partial refund, and the property management group has not responded AT ALL to any of them. We stay at VRBOā€™s at least once a month. This experience may change all of that. It was, by far, the worst place we have ever stayed. (And despite my showing the company that their location ping for the rental is 2 miles from the rental, they STILL havenā€™t changed it. They STILL show the cabin a short block from town. They arenā€™t concerned at all about the lie about the lo
