We got hit hard by the hurricane, but things are pretty much back to pre-hurricane times at Blue Lagoon (no pier yet : ( ) every day gets better not to mention the weather is great! For the latest information regarding what is open, you can go to the following websites: Town of FMB, Chamber of Commerce websites or Beach Talk Radio on FB. Please note that while our home did not sustain much damage at all, the properties adjacent to ours were damaged, but our backyard is completely fenced so it feels like a private oasis. The island is still in recovery mode but everyday there is progress. New stores and restaurants open daily and the beaches are looking really terrific. We have high speed internet and there are many restaurants now open on the island (Bayfront Bistro, Yucatan, Snug Harbor, Cabanas, Tiki Bar, Wahoo Willies many food trucks, Margaritaville, etc) the weather is great. We are back and better and residents are amazingly resilient group of people, be a part of the the exciting rebirth of #FMBSTRONG.

You'll spend endless hours here soaking up the sun, swimming in your private in-ground heated pool. The peaceful setting will make you feel as though you have escaped the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This well appointed home has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths & will sleep a maximum of 8 people. The upper level has a screened porch overlooking the peaceful residential neighborhood. The kitchen is bright and open and enhances the dining area for 6. Listen to your favorite tunes with the bluetooth speaker while you dine, then move into the living room to relax on the sofas, curl up with an enjoyable book, watch your favorite TV show on a 65" HD Smart TV with high speed streaming. You can also open the sliding doors to watch the amazing SW Florida sunsets from the screened in porch.

The full kitchen/breakfast bar with seating for 3 comes with everything you'll need for preparing your perfect meals. The bedrooms are located down the hall from the main living area. In the master, rest comfortably on the brand-new memory foam King size bed in the master bedroom and enjoy a movie in your 50" HD Smart TV. A relaxing shower in the private elegant en-suite master bathroom with walk-in shower awaits you.

The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, also with a brand-new memory foam bed with dresser and 50" smart TV with streaming. The third bedroom has two twin beds, dresser and 50" TVs . Queen sofa sleeper in the living room sleeps two more for a total of 8 guests.

There is a pack'n play for those who might be traveling with little ones, plus a booster & a high chair. Side rails and stroller upon request. Special toddler tableware. The two guest bedrooms share a full bathroom with a tub. Both bathrooms have hair dryers and starter shampoos, conditioners and lotions.

For your convenience, this home is outfitted with free, wireless, high-speed internet streaming service. The washer & dryer are located on the main floor (with starter detergent) and for those of you with allergies, you can rest assured this home is smoke free. The pool area is just lovely and inviting. Soak up the sun in your favorite lounger or dine in the outdoor table for six with additional seating area for another six. Grill your favorite meal in the propane grill. The warm and inviting salt water pool is beckoning you!

For our guests travelling with their dogs, this home is pet friendly. The property is fully fenced (in the backyard area). A maximum of two dogs are allowed. There is a pet fee of $150 per dog, two dog maximum and only with prior approval from owner. Some breeds are not permitted. Owner reserves the right to prior approval. Pet waiver is required. Payment must be made at check out. Make sure to check the pet fee (VRBO only collects one so I will send an additional request for the second pet)

Outdoor cameras are installed for the safety of our guests and to make sure any additional people and/or pets are paid for in advance. Failure to do so will mean you will receive an immediate request for additional guest/pet fees. Failure to pay will result in being asked to leave. Travel Insurance is highly recommended to protect your investment/travel plans. Such companies as Allianz, Travel Guard, Generali, etc. There are no refunds for any reason once inside the 30 day window. No exceptions.

Of course, you've come to Fort Myers Beach to enjoy the beach, Connecticut Ave (beach access 12) is just a 2-minute walk from the house. Here you'll have access to the 7 miles of white sugar sand beach to walk or go shelling. This vacation property is perfectly located mid-island. The Publix grocery store is less than 1 mile away with the new Snook Brite Marina right behind it. Award winning Fresh Catch Restaurant and Junkanoo's are just behing the Publix and adjacent to the Marina. Here, or at the Fishtale Marina in the Villa Santini shopping center, you can get fresh fishing bait, rent a boat for the day, or enjoy a delicious meal in their waterfront restaurants. Other wonderful restaurants, shopping, and the beach movie theatre are also just a short walk away as well. Trolley stops going both North and South bound are just a 1-minute walk from the house on Estero Blvd for just $.75 a ride or purchase an all-day pass for $2.
