Thank you for your feedback — We do apologize the spa is getting repaired it had some cracks , but it is a spill over spa , which means the pool heats first , so we will check this out to make sure the pool heat is working as it should We appreciate you letting us know and will prioritize resolving the issue. The house is absolutely beautiful with an amazing location, just a short walk up the street to the beach access! The pool was clean and warm, unfortunately we couldn’t heat the spa and maintenance didn’t work on the weekend. We had plenty of bath towels and also plenty of pool/beach towels. There was even a beach cart and tons of sand toys for the kids. Here’s where they could do better…. There were no potholders in the kitchen, no salt, pepper, Pam or any coffee setups or filters, also no cleaning supplies and only one dishwasher packet. The coffee pot was missing from the maker, we called the property manager who promptly sent over a brand new coffee maker, but it was tiny and only made 5 cups. We were 4 adults, so we were constantly making multiple pots. The home sleeps 6 adults easily in 3 king size bedrooms, so why only 2 beach chairs? The property is absolutely gorgeous, recently renovated with several outdoor areas to hang out, which is all presumably furnished by the owners. I think the property management company could do a little better with supplying some of the extra touches to make it more functional. We have owned several short term rental properties and have always made sure coffee, creamers, sugars, filters, tea, cleaning supplies etc were provided.

We’re sorry the spa couldn’t be heated during your stay. We do send guets the Guest Portal which lists what is included in the starter kit, we do not supply spices or oils , but there should of been, pot holders and more that 1 dishwasher packet, we will address those issues. Great location

It was a short walk to the beach and even better, walkable to the pier area. The traffic to the bridge to San Carlos Island backed up quite a bit in the afternoon, so being able to walk to the busier are was great!

Great Place!

We stayed at this property for spring break. It was perfect for us. My husband and I both had to work during part of the trip, but doing so out on the back deck was lovely. The teens loved the pool and hot tub, plus the easy walk to the beach. The house is clean and comfortable. It was a really great getaway!

Hidden treasure was had a perfect location and great floor plan to accommodate our family of five. It’s very close to getting 5 stars. Where it lacked was adequate supplies for the time we stayed. We were given one trash bag, and four small rolls of toilet paper for five days. Basic amenities that would have made the stay easier were not provided (like coffee filters). The hot tub was broken, which we found out about two days before arriving, when it’s clearly been broken for quite some time. The house was clean, and the pool was great! The house managers sent regular communications throughout the stay.It’s a two minute walk to the beach and fun Ft.Myers activities.Very convenient!

Great stay at Hidden Treasure at Fort Myers Beach

Overall a great stay at the house and very near to the awesome beach. Best decision made to rent a house with the pool. Hence, we could enjoy pool during the day and the awesome beach especially in the afternoon and night. The house was awesome fully sufficient for the three of us. Kitchen equipment especially dishes, glasses etc could be be short if you are staying there with more than 3 people. Overall a great stay in a great and clean house! We really enjoyed our two weeks stay and will definitely come back !

Location was the only thing convenient about this property

Overall, property is conveniently located near the beach and management was semi-responsive. This review is regarding the “hidden treasure” property. We were very disappointed with the cleanliness and lack of amenities(mainly kitchen supplies) with this rental. We have stayed in many other vacation rentals and have always been supplied ample kitchen appliancEs and supplies. One frying pan and one pot are not sufficient to cook for a house fit to sleep 8. There wasn’t even food storage containers or a hand broom. Knowing what we have left behind at previous stays including this one, there should have been something provided. Upon arrival we noticed the pool area was dirty. There was food, candy wrappers, hair and clothing left behind from the previous renters. The pool and spa had sand in it, and the temperature could not be adjusted for either one. so while it was refreshing to take a dip during the day, it would have been nice to enjoy the hot tub or take a night swim but the lights didn’t work either. It didn’t appear that anyone came by to clean or look at the pool our entire 6 night stay. Also, upon arrival we found out the dryer was broke, still usable but it sounded like a jack hammer when in use. We have a 4 month old so laundry was necessary so this was extremely inconvenient since we didn’t want to disturb sleep times but couldn’t carry a conversation while it was running either. After this experience, I will probably avoid other SP properties in the future.
