The Treehouse-5 minute walk to Village & Gondola

Extremely comfortable 1 bedroom plus bedroom loft and 2 full size baths. Beautiful condo in a great location. A short 5 minute walk to the Village Gondola and even closer to the brewery. Condo will sleep up to six with a queen size bed in the bedroom and 2 queen size beds in the loft. Flatscreen tv s in all sleeping areas and living room. Fully stocked kitchen for meals. Free firewood in winter months (Nov-March) and hi speed wifi. Two onsite jacuzzis and saunas. Linens provided. Mammoth Lakes Certified Property #TOML-CPAN-10530

Gourmet kitchen remodel performed in summer 2023. We spared no expense to highlight the kitchen. All new GE appliances (exception fridge), cabinets, counters, backsplash and plumbing fixtures.

East facing with a great tree top view. Plenty of hanging and folding storage. Sorry no smoking and no pets. Wifi tv only. No cable.

You are renting the entire condo and will have access to all onsite amenities.

The neighborhood is unique in that it is nestled in a small valley floor above The Village and you have the feeling of being in a treehouse.

No need for a car once your there. I go to Vons upon arrival and don't get in my car again until it's time to go home. Mammoth has a great FREE bus and trolley system that will take you anywhere you need to go. Even to June Lake and Yosemite!

Please note before confirming reservation, all guests are REQUIRED to e-sign my rental agreement which also includes a valid credit card #. The credit card will be HELD in lieu of the security deposit and WILL NOT be charged unless there is damage or missing items that exceed the Airbnb/VRBO security deposit. I also require guests to upload a valid ID, Drivers License, Passport or State ID.

Family ski trip

We had a lovely time at the place and enjoyed both the close distance to the Village gondola as well as the comfy warmth and the fire we were able to enjoy in the evenings while watching the snow come down. The beds were very comfy and the place had lovely holiday decorations that made the trip feel even more special.

Ski Vacation

We found this place excellent for our family of 4. Nice and cozy, well equipped and clean. Close to the village. Property is well maintained especially on a snowy weekend.

Amazing Location

This space is truly a hidden gem! It is walking distance to the gondola and village. It is well maintained and the layout of the loft with 2 queen beds, bath and walk in closet, plus a master with bath makes it very spacious. The hot tub was close to the unit and not crowded. Lastly, the owners were super sweet and accommodating. We will be back!

Summertime Family Getaway

We spend time in Mammoth every summer, and were thrilled to find a walking-distance alternative to the Village Lodge. The property is as advertised, and the owners are delightful. Our teen loved having the loft space to herself, though it could have very comfortably accommodated a few friends. Though the condo is in walking distance of several restaurants, we like to dine in some evenings--this condo has one of the best equipped kitchens we've encountered. All around a terrific experience--we hope a repeat stay is in our future!

Hidden Valley - the Treehouse

We don’t use VRBO very often; but this might change our thinking. Communication and response from Michael was excellent. Location of condo was close to the Hidden Valley entrance and a short, easy walk to Mammoth Village. On arrival we were surprised at the little Chrismassy touches Michael had added to make it more like home away from home. My wife loved that there was a Christmas Tree. Everything worked and the space was great. We did have a couple of small issues and Michael’s response was very quick and everything made OK. I would highly recommend this condo. Well named the Treehouse.

Hidden Valley Cozy Place

We had a wonderful stay at your house. The location could not be better, short walking distance from the Village. Very cozy house and well stocked for all of your needs. Michael was easy to contact and checked in on how we were doing in a very welcoming and friendly manner.

Great location and comfortable

Location was great! We walked to the Village and enjoyed all the fun there but came back to a quiet cute place. The fireplace is adorable and kept the place so cozy. Super cute comfortable place to stay that is conveniently located to everything. Loved the games and movies for guests! Thank you.

We loved the condo. Location is primo! We were super comfortable with the unit. Beds were comfortable. Highly recommend and we will def come back! Jacuzzi was close but small.

Short walk to the gondola in the village. Well-equipped and set up for a family of four. Would definitely stay there again next time I'm in Mammoth.

Perfect Early Season Stay!

We loved our stay over Thanksgiving. The home is so comfortable, clean and everything you could need is stocked for you. The layout perfect for a small family or group of friends visiting with a bedroom downstairs and a loft with two queen beds and bath upstairs. Small kitchen items, linens, even some games, cards and movies. The unit is super convenient, just a short walk over to the hot tub after a day of skiing, or a stroll to the Village at night for dinner. No steps to climb, and perfectly laid out instructions for heating with the wood stove. Not a ski in/out place but if Mammoth decided to have lockers near the Village gondola or something, then totally doable if you didn't have to walk in your gear. We loved how it was a tucked away group of condos, but convenient to everything Mammoth has to offer. Would LOVE to come back in the season when we can take the village gondola to the slopes and skip the parking lot. Thank you again for having us! We loved it and highly recommend!

Wish we could stay forever! This home away from home was everything you could imagine. We loved the location, walking distance to the village and Mammoth Brewery. We loved all the amenities and the home like atmosphere they created for this rental. We really enjoyed our time as a family and made lots of new memories. Thank you for creating such a comfortable atmosphere for your guest. It was amazing.

Excellent Location, Super Clean, Well stocked

1) The condo location is excellent (close to all shops and restaurants). Mammoth Brewing Co. Is a short 5 minute walk. 2) The condo was super clean. No AC but we didnt feel the need even during the ongoing heat wave. Just need to keep the windows and blinds closed during the day and open during nights. 3) Extremely well stocked kitchen and amenities. 4) Very good communication with Mike (owner). Will definotely look forward tl renting again when we revisit.

Great Location

Very nice place and minutes away by foot from the village gondolas that take you to canyon lodge. Note that the owners appear to bring a dog into the unit from time to time.

Great Condo

The condo was clean, well-stocked (nice bonus), and all was in good working condition. It is within walking distance to the Village for dining and such, but a bit too far with ski boots and skis for the Village gondola.

Well equipped Comfy Ski Cabin

We stayed presidents day weekend at this lovely cabin. Its a close walk to the gondola in the village. We stayed a weekend with tons of snow. The cabin was well heated with the wood stove and electric heaters. 2 queen beds upstairs for the kids with bath. A nice bed and bath downstairs for the parents. The cabin is well decorated with ski stuff. We cooked a couple of meals and everything you need is there. This is a well done rental property.

Outstanding weekend getaway.

Great property in great location. Perfect for families, with two queen beds and a separate bath in upstairs loft, and master bed and bathroom downstairs. Short walk to village and gondola - no need to drive anywhere once you've arrived. Great communication from owner - we booked this last minute and arrived after midnight, and everything went smoothly. thanks for a great stay!

My wife Laura and I are part time Mammoth locals. This is our vacation/retirement home that will be rented on occasion. We live in the Bay Area and travel to Mammoth as much as time allows. We love to ski/ride, hike, fish, backpack, bike ride and all the other activities that Mammoth offers. Just can't get enough!

I bought my first Mammoth condo in 2011 in Mountain Shadows. My realtor introduced me to Hidden Valley and I bought a studio there in 2013. My wife and I purchased this condo in February 2018. Love the location! Steps from the bike path and a 5 minute walk to the Village for summer activities and winter gondola rides to the "Hill"
