"Applely Ever After" has something for everyone! Soak away your worries in the brand-new hot tub, take in the breathtaking views of Double Knob Mountain on the spacious deck, have a drink by the fire pit, polish up your golf skills on the putting green. Or if you are feeling adventurous, hike the 3 mile trail around the community.

Located in in the beautiful sought after Lake Buckhorn community off Boardtown Road in a perfect location between Ellijay and Blue Ridge with easy access and all paved roads! 15 minutes to either beautiful town.

"Applely Ever After" is beautifully decorated log home. Featuring an awesome king bedroom and a beautiful queen bedroom and two upgraded bathrooms with walk-in showers, in addition to an office and daybed for work or reading!

When booking with Buckhorn Cabin Rentals you are a person, not an "unknown" or only a credit card number. You are dealing with a member of the community, not someone hundreds of miles away, or a computer. Upon making your reservation you will be personally contacted by cabin management (Jim) and given all the information needed for locating and accessing the cabin. Jim and his wife Carolyn live in the Lake Buckhorn community and are available 24/7 by phone or text if needed. NOTE: Pet friendly does not mean free. If you are bringing your fur baby, be sure to check the appropriate box when booking your stay with us. Thank you, Jim.

Weekend Getaway

This was our first time visit to the Blue Ridge Mountains and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The cabin was perfect for us. We had a beautiful view and the location was great. We spent time in Ellijay and Blue Ridge and both towns were lovely.

Relaxing Stay!

This was a perfect weekend getaway! Jim was gracious and responsive. He made sure everything was ready for our stay and checked in on us to ensure we had everything we needed. We will definitely rent from Jim and Carolyn again!

Perfection!

The cabin and location are spectacular. The place was immaculate and well stocked with anything you would need. Pictures online don’t do it justice. Loved the views and fireplace!. Ellijay and the surrounding areas have excellent restaurants and shopping and it is wonderful to be able to support the local business owners.

Loved all the amities. Well kept cabin. Beautiful view. The only negative was the fact that there were no sports channels on the TV. Could not get ABC sports CBS sports nor ESPN, so I could not watch any football games nor Baseball playoffs.

Beautiful view! Very clean and cozy cabin!

My husband and I stayed at the Appley Ever After cabin for a long weekend trip! Cabin was very clean and comfortable! The fresh flowers and apples were a nice and welcoming touch! Would definitely recommend and we hope to return again in the next year!

Clean & Cozy

PROS: Cabin is very clean & photos are accurate. Putting green, fire pit, deck rocking chairs, & lower deck area were all nice touches. Good Wifi. Upon arrival, fireplace didn't work, but property manager arrived quickly & fixed it. Kitchen was well equipped with the basics & had some spices. It's a nice neighborhood, but if you want to go for a stroll, you'll need good lungs & strong legs; it's pretty hilly. CONS: TV is mounted very high up, so you feel like you're in the front row at a movie theater. If you recline the 2 end seats on the couch, you can watch more comfortably; otherwise you'll need to pull rockers way back in the room to watch, or sit in the kitchen. TV remote in master bedroom had broken battery case cover & constantly fell off, but it worked fine. The bathroom sink faucet is too tall & sticks up right in the middle of the sink, so if you brush your teeth/wash your face, you only have 6" on either side of faucet & water splashes on counter top. Our biggest complaint was the master bedroom mattress; it dips on both sides & was very uncomfortable. The smaller bed in 2nd bedroom has a pretty firm mattress, but is more comfortable. The cabin gets east/west sunlight & there aren't blinds, so we had to hang a blanket on the back windows to keep the sun blocked. Master bedroom needs blinds too; so bring sleeping mask! OVERALL: Would give 5 stars if master mattress was changed, blinds added & TV mounted lower. It's a cute & cozy little place & very clean! 4.5 stars

Very Cozy Cottage

Super cute and very clean! Beds were comfy and kitchen was well stocked. We went to use the propane firepit and the propane bottle was empty. Contacted property manager who was very responsive adn replaced the bottle quickly. Went to use the gas grill to grill steaks Saturday evening but could not because the propane bottle there was empty also. Did not contact property manager because of lateness of time and we were leaving the next day. Also, could not use the hot tub as it was inoperable.

Favorite Cabin

The pictures just don’t do this place justice. Immaculate and cozy cabin with great views. I loved the rocking chairs and the kids enjoyed the putt putt, fire pit and having fun downstairs. I loved that the kitchen was stocked with tools for cooking and I didn’t have to go out and buy items just to cook meals; it happens often when we visit rentals. I appreciated the little touches of seasonal decor and wine. This was a family favorite and we will definitely be back!

Great place...had all we needed for a great time

Location and place perfect for our trip. Close to Elijah and other fun activities. House greatly equipped for our stay...the outdoor gaming and tub area was a plus.

This cabin was incredible…from the cleanliness to the up to date technology, this was one of the best cabins we have ever rented. The lower deck IS amazing as described. Loved the town and surrounding areas! Can’t wait to book our return trip!

Much needed break!

We loved the cabin and especially the outdoor areas. My son was amazed and in aww of the cabin. The bed is super comfy and im buying those same pillows now because they were like sleeping on clouds. We especially loved the treasure hunt in the log book. Great place!

Great!

I enjoyed the hot tub very much, even though the lower deck doesn't connect to the inside of the house. The cabin was great and clean. Although it is in a community, we never saw a soul... very peaceful! My husband enjoyed having morning coffee on the upper deck and taking in the great view! Jim was very responsive. Great stay!

Perfect getaway

The property was easy to get to, paved roads, secluded yet close to anything you need on your visit. The cabin was clean and nicely stocked with items that made you feel like you’re home away from home.
