This condo was absolutely perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 children ages 2 & 5). You can't beat the location on North Beach! Having the on site restaurant, pool, and beach steps outside the sliding door was priceless. The staff at Ixchel are very attentive and the property felt secure and well maintained. We have visited Isla Mujeres 3 years in a row and this has been our favorite property to date. Thank you!

We love this property and this unit. Super clean and recently remodeled. Unit has everything g you need! Easy to access the pool, the beach and the restaurant on property. Isla and Ixchel never disappoint!!

Perfect property for us!! The condo was ideally located on the first floor with walk out patios that quickly accessed the heated pool, beach and restaurant. The servers would bring us breakfast and drinks right to our patio! The unit was well equipped with water, kitchen essentials and coffee. The rooms are big and plenty of closet space for everyone. The hotel’s laundry facility is conveniently located just a few steps outside the unit and offers pay per load washers/dryers. Overall a fantastic experience and best location on the island, it’s worth the price! We will be back!

What a great spot

I’ve been to Isla Mujeres a few times and I must say this property cannot be better placed. What a great spot with great staff and cannot wait to come back.

Ground Floor convenience, Great for two couples!

The beautiful 2B/2B condo has been beautifully remodeled recently. The living room, kitchen in the middle of the 2 Bedrooms is ideal! We really enjoyed the walkout patio on the first floor and sitting outside the pool and restaurant was our favorite! Hugo the waiter even brought us breakfast outside of our room! Perfect spot within steps of Norte beach and all of the activity downtown! Pricey, but you get what you pay for!

Amazing location - but fell flat due to AC issues

Everything would have been great, except that the condo we rented had AC problems. And it was known, because there were workers in the apt when we arrived. The owner of the property couldn't have been nicer (we happened to meet him by the pool). But there were no other 2-bedroom units to move us to for our entire stay. So, with a 4 and a 7 year old, we have to move to a new place every single night. If you have kids, you know what a pain it is to not be able to unpack fully and just stay in one place. Would be go back? Yes. The location can't be beat. But the hassle each day to get new keys, inevitably have to return to the front desk because they didn't remember to unlock the connecting door between suites started to weigh on us. Ok, rant over. You will love this place if the AC starts to work again.

If only we’d known.

I gave this an overall good rating because the resort is very nice, we have stayed here many times. The condo was clean and as pictured. What you NEED to know before booking this condo or any condo on this side in December, is that the pool gets ZERO sunlight. None. At all. They attempt to “heat” the pool. It just wasn’t enough given the temps being low, the wind being very high and it being overcast the majority of the time with no sun ever hitting the water. The irony is the other pool, on the other side(which was very inconvenient for us with our son’s physical disability) was that it WAS in the sun but the water was not heated and was like the North Atlantic. It was so cold that my daughter’s lips turned blue. She developed a cough the next day and after that we were done. All in all, the condo was nice, and clean. But zero mention of no sun and that literally, combined with the water being ridiculously cold, ruined our trip and we came home two days early. I just want others to know and be prepared for this during the “winter” months. We have stayed at Ixchel during the months of April, May, June and July, and it is has always been lovely. This was our first experience during our winter months and it’s just not for us. All we want is a pool and sun. That’s really it. Lesson learned I guess.

Great place!

This place was right on the beach! It was very clean and the people working the front desk were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here next time we visit.

Best Location on Isla

You walk out your ground floor patio door right to pool and beach. Reserved beach chairs, helpful staff (who even lost and found my daughter's swim trunks). Tip - we had "Everything Isla" service stock our fridge with everyday food (like frozen waffles and coffee) - this place has a full kitchen and we wanted the convenience. Note that there was a beach party that went late on Saturday, and we were glad for our "white noise" noisemakers.
