The location of the property is perfect for those who love the lush Sonoran desert. We were treated to many sightings of desert creatures, had gorgeous views of mountains and were mesmerized by the many magnificent saguaros on and near the property. We spent Christmas weekend cooking with family (a better cutting board would be the only addition to the kitchen we would suggest), sitting around the outdoor fire and sleeping in on comfortable beds. The hosts were very quick to respond to our questions. Thanks for a great stay!

Quiet home close to golfing, and hiking

We enjoyed our stay. The house was located in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed star gazing at night and being close to golfing and hiking. The kitchen had most of what we needed so we cooked at home most nights. The house was very clean and the master bedroom bed very comfortable.

Beautiful Desert Surroundings

Geat home with a beautiful desert surrounding. We saw all kinds of wildlife and enjoyed sitting by the pool. Very close to some great golf courses that we took advantage of- Troon North, The Boulders, and Rancho Manana. Tonto Grill at Rancho Manana is expetional. Host was very attentive to all questions or issues. Love to visit again.

Private Mountain bike Oasis!

We loved our stay in Cave Creek! It was perfect for two families who love to mountain bike! Close to trails- great outside area for hosing off and working on bikes- quiet neighborhood next to wilderness- relaxing and very clean pool- and a very responsive host for our questions. We look forward to returning! On a side note- it is in a horse community neighborhood and I am sure that non- disruptive guests would be appreciated by the neighbors- we were quiet and enjoyed petting the yearling horses nearby! But loud or partying guests would for sure throw off the vibe :-)

Perfect desert getway

This place is in the perfect location in Cave Creek Arizona… Close to town and yet totally get that desert feel with wildlife sightings right out the back door… The pool was perfect for the 90* temperatures while we were there!!!…. we will definitely try to return in the near future… The decor put you right in the spirit of the southwest… We fell in love with the area,

Great Desert Getaway.

This property is wonderful. The inside is bigger than expected. Plenty of room to spread out. But the real gem is the pool and outside area. We enjoyed relaxing out side all day and into the evening. What a place to visit after a long cold winter. Will definitely try to book this home again.

The pictures do not capture the essence of this place

The property was more then what I expected from the pictures. There is a certain peacefulness and serenity that the pictures could not capture. Though there we a few tweaks I could see being helpful I would say I would most likely want to stay in the house again and would recommend to others looking to stay in the area.

Great Cave Creek property!

Loved our stay. Great location and layout of the house. The pool was an extra plus. All was outstanding. Our only negative was that the patio furniture was worn out and could be updated.

Non communication

The property was nice. Unfortunately the listing says (which is why we rented) pool can be heated for extra money. I personally called the owner directly a week before our arrival to get the pool heated and he stated “no heater”. At the time I didn’t get more information from him, unfortunately. Since it was a week away, we couldn’t change flights etc. We rented specifically for area and pool since it was early May. Day of arrival we never received the code to access the house. Started making phone calls. We drove all the way there in hopes of it arriving. Finally we heard from the owners. They had thought they sent it. This is concerning since they were traveling and were in and out of reception! What would we have done if we couldn’t reach them due to no reception on their part?? Rented several VRBO’s and never once had this issue. Tried using the beautiful washer and it would spin out. Repeatedly had to restart on a different settings. Took two hours to finally get a small load spun out. 😖😖😖 Tried getting help but didn’t receive a response. Back to the whole pool “heater” issue as well as access into pool. We were two women in our mid 60’s. The drop to first step was deep and there wasn’t any pool rail to hold onto to help assist us out. This would of been very dangerous IF we could use the pool!! Without the heater the pool was ice cold!! Interesting enough, the pool guy came to clean the pool while we were home. We mentioned we would of liked the pool heated since the listing said it could be. He replied that next time we should ask the property owner so it will be done. Imagine his surprise when I said he told us “No Heater”. He looked over at the heater which was there and just chuckled. Seeing as we wouldn’t of touched something without being told we could as well as there was not time left to heat it up, we were QUITE DISAPPOINTED!!! The house is very nice! Large yard but not rattlesnake fenced so pls be aware if you have a dog or dogs. Pool isn’t easy for young or older people to access. Forget about using the washer.

Isolated desert perfection

First of all the house is stunning! It’s beautifully appointed throughout with a touch of the owners personality evident through the decor. Everything you could have asked for was there. But now the location …. wow it was stunning & private, just a stones throw from the local amenities at Cave Creek. And finally the local wildlife - we saw chipmunks, rabbits , javelinas and a single coyote very close to the safely fenced property along with a multitude of birdlife. Pity our stay could only be a short one but we definately hope to be back.

Overall ok but review amenities

The positive first the scenery is amazing . The pool was heated and great !! Next is suggestions now . The internet is poor we used all our personal data on our phones to work and watch movies and shows it was satellite very slow! . There is no gas grill which we really enjoy . There is only 2 chase loungers for a house that sleeps 8 . The washing machine was Broke which was sad when we had no way to wash our 2 week worth of clothes! The house is beautiful and the beds are very comfortable ! But will not return because of internet

Great place to stay, beautiful clean property, had a small issue with plumbing in the guest bath, but owner was responsive and our stay was not negatively impacted, love the town and would definitely stay again!

Nice place - great desert views!

Great property, close to town, pool. Inside was very clean, good vibe to the interior decor. Everything worked great. Pool is an added plus. Cave Creek is such a great town - lots to do, good restaurants, hiking. Just a great place.

This experience at the ultra exclusive Four Seasons Toon, situated in the Sonoran Desert, provided the background for the decoration of this southwestern charmer in a truly old western theme.

We love Old Town of Cave Creek. One of the few Western Towns remaining in Arizona. Everything one could want to live near: fine dining, great galleries, shops and just a great old western town theme minus all the franchise type businesses except 2 that were establshed long ago. A really cool town! It is driving distance from the airport and the ultra chic Scottsdale, with all the elegant restaurants, shopping and theaters, andhowever far enough away to keep it from getting too crowded. Also driving distance to the Phoenix Suns, Arizona Cardinals sport complexes.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

I love all the views from all the windows. Lots and lots of light. At night, you see and hear the moon, coyotes and owls. During the day, on numerous ocassions I have seen the deer that live in the gulch that runs through the back of our property. At night, it is so quiet and serene along with some fantastic Sunsets and Sunrises. You feel so out of the way of city life, yet close. The secluded feeling of the home setting takes you back to how it must of felt living in the West in the old days!
