Built in the 1930's brought back to life with modern conveniences without losing old world charm. Guests love the privacy and exclusivity of this property. It's hard to believe you're in the city - minutes from exceptional restaurants, wedding and sporting venues. Each spacious bedroom has generous closets with comfortable linens and plenty of plush towels. Enjoy the patio with your friends and family while grilling out and watching the sunset. A true, private retreat in the center of the city. Plenty of off street parking and security system.

Convenient to downtown Atlanta - 10-15 minutes from Mercedes Benz Stadium, State Farm Arena, Georgia Aquarium, World of Coke, Georgia Tech, Georgia State, and Truist Park.
Less than 1 mile from the Swan Coach House. Restaurants and Buckhead shopping within walking distance or a short drive. If golf or tennis is your thing, just 1.5 miles from the newly renovated Bobby Jones Golf Course and Bitsy Grant tennis center. They also have pickleball courts.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Our host gave excellent instructions, welcomed us and was available if needed. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including a well-stocked kitchen! It was also perfect for guests who need handicapped access. In addition we enjoyed visiting some of the local restaurants, the Atlanta History Museum, the Blue Heron Nature Preserve, Chastain Park, and more! The outdoor living space at this home was also a treat. The patio was inviting and comfortable, plus we enjoyed the seeing the chickens. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The property and the hosts were amazing! Truly a retreat in Buckhead. It was very peaceful— it was exactly what our group was looking for. Rachael and David were wonderful, and very accommodating. We wouldn’t change a thing. We may return yearly as long as the property is still open for booking. Thank you, RachaelAnd David for sharing your sanctuary!

Great place in Buckhead for family wedding

Rachel the host was very responsive. We arrived to a basket of two bags of chips for snacks and bottle of wine. The location was perfect! The house was clean and plenty of room. We really enjoyed our visit and was able to spend extra time with family because we had this vrbo! We had an issue with the lock and the host helped us resolve (new batteries needed for key pad). This was fixed quickly and host was very kind about it. I would recommend this for central location and plenty of room.

Local church event

Location is the best if you want to be in the Buckhead area. Close to local churches, great restaurants and convenient grocery. Very quiet property with a cute patio. Grandson loved the chickens! So nice to stay in a well equipped home with family instead of several hotel rooms.

Perfect location

We stayed here while we were in town for our daughter's wedding. The location was perfect, close to everything, but surrounded by lush trees and birds singing throughout the day. The lower level master bedroom with bath was perfect for my elderly mother who has difficulty climbing stairs. The owners were very nice and even dropped off candles in case we lost power during some rough storms that came through the area. We would absolutely stay here again.!

We had the best time at Rachel's Carriage House

Our family loved staying here and we can't wait to come back! Rachel's hospitality was wonderful; our girls loved the dogs, chickens and the cat. The carriage home is wonderfully maintained and has everything needed; great layout to, privacy when needed and good spaces to come together. The neighborhood in Buckhead is really well located as we were driving in all directions everyday. Thanks again Rachel! We hope to see you again soon.

Lovely home and pleasant stay

We had a great stay in Atlanta. Property is spacious and comfortable for our group of 4. Location is proximate to Buckhead area.Rachel and David were exceptional hosts. Nice Place for a Family Reunion Getaway

The house was clean, well appointed, had all the amenities described, comfortably accommodated eight people and was wheelchair accessible. Furthermore, the owner quickly accepted our request to extend our stay by one day and our request for permission to bring a pet dog. The owner requested we pick up after the dog, which we did. And we picked up much of the waste from the owner’s dogs, at least 20 bags, so we could access the lawn. The owner’s dogs often roamed the property and, unfortunately, dog waste littered much of the back yard. That was the only blemish on a very pleasant stay.

We enjoy hosting out of town and local guests in this comfortable guest house. We are a family of five with three boys, two of whom are out on their own. Having lived in Atlanta since 1987, we have watched the city grow into the welcoming and robust city it is today.
We are avid baseball fans, Go Braves! Need a great restaurant recommendation? Place to play tennis or swim? Happy to provide suggestions as needed. We hope you enjoy Atlanta as much as we do. Enjoy your stay!

As a private getaway, this property is in the heart of the town, only being 15 minutes away from Suntrust Park, Mercedes Benz stadium and a 5 minute ride to the best shopping and eating in Atlanta. The house is privately nestled on 1.5 acres. Guests can enjoy lovely sunsets, refreshing walks throughout some of the most beautiful streets in Atlanta. Come enjoy the city and a private getaway, away from the hustle at days end. Secluded getaway in the middle of Buckhead.

It is rare to experience a Buckhead estate on a short term visit to Atlanta. Built in the 1930's, Woodsway invites to the house down a graceful and private drive. Coming around to the rear of the home to park, you will see the chicken coop and tree swing - perfect for entertaining the younger ones.

Enter the guest house through the patio with ample seating, outdoor dining, and patio lights to add to the ambiance. The main level is fully accessible with doorways in excess of 37" and parking adequate for two vehicles requiring disability access.
