The owner of this home has put a lot of thought and style into the interior of Seaside Cottage, so sit back and enjoy your getaway!

What's nearby:
It is only a block to downtown and a couple short blocks to the beach or the convention center, so you can be there in a flash. Walk over to the sandy shore and hunt for shells, or stroll along Broadway Street and choose a restaurant for dinner, check out the souvenir shops, or stop in at the famous Carousel Mall.

This is a great little place, the location is outstanding! The house is well equipped with everything you need. The only downsides were accessing the house with electronic keypad, itā€™s a 10 digit code and didnā€™t know that the door automatically locks when you shut it. We were unloading and closed the door behind us so our dog wouldnā€™t get out, leaving behind my phone with the code! Thank goodness my boyfriend had his phone so we could call Vacasa. They answered promptly and gave me the code but after 3 unsuccessful tries it canceled the code. Called Vacasa again and they gave us the code for the backup lock box with the physical key. My advice is to write the code down and leave it in your car just in case. The other drawback was that the furnace is loud, if youā€™re a light sleeper bring ear plugs. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, filthy house

This could be a great place to stay. Itā€™s walking distance to everything you need or want. Unfortunately the house was filthy when we arrived. Bedding was dirty. There was crusted food on all of the comforters. The sheets may have been washed but were not clean-like too much laundry was shoved into the washing machine. The linen closet was full of extra sheets but they were dirty too. There was garbage on the floor-straw wrapper, old qtips, orange peels, etc. One chair was so broken we couldnā€™t sit in it. The couch smelled terrible. The toilet was broken on arrival. Had to leave the lid off the entire weekend to adjust the stopper every time we flushed. We are not an unreasonable family with unrealistic expectations. With the amount of money we paid, the bare minimum should be a clean and functioning place to live in while on vacation.

Great location but needs upgrades.

First impression was that it was cute and overall the house served its purpose. Great location! Very close to everything in town. Beds and bathrooms were clean. Overall the place needs a good clean. The dishes still had food on them from previous renters. Also the bbq grill was rusty so we couldnā€™t use it. The house needs some tlc. There were outlets with duct tape and light fixtures that looked kind of rough. The furniture also was very worn. Some of the chairs felt like they would break when you sit down. So over all cute place and served its purpose but needs some updating and tlc.

Cozy little beach cottage

Close to Broadway and the Prom, so everything is within walking distance. It's a small place, but pretty well kept and there is a nice BBQ grill to make cooking easier.

Great location, poor experience.

My partner and I are from Michigan and planned our elopement at Cannon Beach, OR and rented this place to celebrate our during our stay. The location was perfect and walking distance to downtown and the beach. Unfortunately, our experience was less than ideal working with Vacasa. We were informed a half hour before our check in time (4pm) that the house wouldnā€™t be ready until 5pm due to cleaning; which was unacceptable with our timeline since our photographer was scheduled to meet us at 4pm. After calling Vacasa, they said we could arrive at 4pm, but the cleaners may still be there. When we arrived, no one was there. The company failed to supply us with more toilet paper, which we had to purchase on our own. We also paid for an extended checkout time, but the door lock password expired before our extended time was up; leaving my fiancĆ© unable to enter the house. Thankfully I was inside and could let him in, otherwise we would have been stuck outside without our luggage. Seaside/Cannon Beach is such a beautiful place and we were thankful to have a roof over our head and felt very safe in that neighborhood, but wished it could have been less stressful; especially during our elopement.

Great location

The location is great in Seaside, walking distance to everything. The furnishings are worn out and the home feels dingy. There was an old stained mattress in the laundry room and no door to close it off from the kitchen, just felt really gross and uncomfortable.

Not recommended.

Conveniently located near restaurants and beach. Comfortable seating and good lighting. Very noisy, especially at night. No dishwasher. Made four requests to trim a branch off tree next to driveway that was scratching the paint on our car and making it difficult to get in and out.

Spring Break upsetting

Showed up to location, yard needed mowed, walked into home full of dust and hair. Bathroim mirror had finger prints all over it, floor not clean, pub in sink and shiwer had soap scum and pubs on shower caddy with pink mold all along the shower caulking. Wash machine is hard to turn on and it is broken, no propane and bbq needs a good cleaning, sand was all over the kitchen table and chairs, furnace filter needs changed asap as it is overloaded with dust. Cobwebs threw out the house, dog hair in window seals, furniture is so wore down its uncomfortable. Beds are so uncomfortable. Very upset with the price i paid to get a vrbo home like this. It needs thoroughly cleaned! I have bad allergies and the dust was so bad my kids were even sneezing and woke up with swollen eyes. I reached out and vrbo said someone would contact me when i complained. No one reached me. You need to check your games and puzzles. Went to play yatzee and its missing dice, put puzzle together and there is missing pieces. Location is very noisy, fireworks were being set off the 1st night. Bums going threw garbage can and very noisy people until 2 am walking the streets.

Seaside birthday and anniversary weekend

We had a lovely time is this cute well maintained home. We had our dog and were able to walk to the beach in only a few minutes and it is right off the Main Street with all of the restaurants and gift shops.

This is a cute little house, really good location for walking to the beach and the shops. But the neighbors are very inconsiderate and kept us up all night both nights we were there. We ended up leaving a day early due to not getting any sleep. The bed sheets, towels and dishes were not very clean. We pretty much had to wash every dish we used before we used it.
