Private suite by Village of Arroyo Grande. Close to beaches, hiking & wineries!

Come enjoy the heart of the Central Coast. This newly constructed room is in a relaxing country setting but only a stroll away to the quaint village of Arroyo Grande. While in the Village enjoy wine tasting, window shopping or a delicious meal. Arroyo Grande is located minutes from wineries, beaches, downtown SLO, Cal Poly, hiking and so much more.

The Ranchita has its own separate entrance for your privacy and sleeps two. Comfortable queen bed with lovely bedding. The room is well lit with a cozy chair to sit back and relax in. Private bath with large shower and full length mirror. Office space with desk and leather chair. Parking and outdoor space under the olive tree to enjoy the view. There are no stairs to gain access to the room.

Amenities include High Speed internet, Wifi and large Smart TV. In-room coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. Hair dryer. Coffee and water and candy provided. Iron and ironing board if requested.

Guest Interaction - We live in the main house on the property with our kids and our dog and cat. We would love to meet you, but we are happy to be as interactive as you wish. We are around for any help or recommendations you might need.

Guest access - The room has a key less entry to give you easy access and more freedom on your arrival. A code for your stay will be provided prior to your stay. Parking is directly out front of the room.

This location is best for a couple or an individual. Non mobile children ok too. Please let us know in advance if you’ll need a portable crib.

There is NO SMOKING of any kind and NO pets allowed.

The room and bathroom were spotless. We met one of the hosts and he was super sweet giving us more coffee pods and creamers. There are goats and chickens to talk to! We enjoyed a walk to town for breakfast and sitting outside enjoying the beautiful area.

Quiet and comfy

We were warmly welcomed by Paula and her two beautiful pups. Staying here was a cozy treat. We slept well after a long day of enjoying the area. I would highly recommend this well located spot to anyone.

Tucked away solitude

This little gem was exactly what we needed for a trip to visit my fiancés family for the holidays. It was close enough to everything we needed but far enough out of the way where we could unwind at the end of the day.

Great Place to stay

My wife and I needed a place to stay while bringing our son back to school at Cal Poly. Although a bit of drive from San Luis Obispo, it was comfortable and just what we needed. We got in late the first night and had a small problem getting the access code to work but owner came out and helped us out. We will definitely stay again.

Wonderful suite that was exactly what we needed!

This family home is nestled up on a hill within walking distance to the village of Arroyo Grande. The suite was very clean, modern and very comfortable. The just family went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were met. Their two dogs were our greeters during our stay and we enjoyed seeing them. We have already decided to Stay there again next Summer!

We enjoyed the peaceful location of the Ranchita up on a hill with a beautiful view, but a close enough drive to the hustle bustle of a city.The room was immaculate. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions that we had. Highly recommended.

Be sure to get to this property before dark. GPS did not give us correct directions and would be very hard to locate in the dark. Enjoy!

Gem of Arroyo Grande

I couldn't have been happier with the accomodations. It was the perfect location to walk in to town to shop and eat. The area is beautiful and super quiet. Traveling alone, I felt completely safe, the parking space is right outside the door and my new 4-legged friends were there to greet me coming and going❤️. I had everything I could possibly need with all the personal touches and amenities. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful space for me to enjoy my time in AG!

Property is situated in a quiet neighborhood, it’s perfect if you want to stay in an area away from the hustle and bustle of life (atleast for a short while) . Room was clean , host was very attentive to us if there’s anything that we need and gave us recommendations of places to visit. Close to shops, and the beach. Would definitely comeback in the future!

This ranchita is perfect when you’re visiting Pismo Beach and it’s surrounding locations. Your home away from home. Solo travel this time. But will definitely use this ranchita again when we visit the area. Thank you Ms. Paula for the great accommodations! Fur baby Bowie is definitely a plus!

Great Place!

This place was better than the description. The unit was tastefully updated, clean, and fully equipped for a short stay. Much attention was given to details, such as coffee maker with coffee pods, various sugars and creamers, refrigerator, and a even small sewing kit in a drawer. Wi-Fi was available plus a charging station for phone and watch. The view was spectacular, from green hills to distant horse properties. The feel was quiet country, yet the property was conveniently located very close to town and local activities. The hosts were very warm and welcoming. I would whole-heartedly recommend this accommodation.

Obvious why it has a 5-star rating

It’s a beautiful, newer, clean, super comfortable place to lay your head when traveling. We were checking out colleges along the coast and this was a great location for that. Everything was perfect We would absolutely recommend this place and hope to stay there again in the future.

My second visit-- as wonderful as my first visit last year. The quiet there is all enveloping -- a welcome relief from the stress of city living. The sweet dogs and goats are a delightful bonus! I'm already looking forward to my visit next year!

The perfect spot

We were in town for the weekend and just needed a place to sleep. Our stay was amazing… freshly renovated or constructed space that was decorated perfectly. Cozy, clean, and stylish. We will definitely be back when we come to SLO.

Hello! I'm Paula and I live at the property with my husband and two daughters. I am a native from the Central Coast and love the area with all my heart. I moved out of the area for several years, but found my way back in 2007 and couldn't be happier.

We bought the property in 2014 and took the main house down to the sticks. We added about 1000 square feet and the garage which includes the Ranchita. We finished the remodel in 2017 and have been enjoying it ever since.

The number one reason we bought this property and fixed up the house was the VIEW!!!
We absolutely cherish it and spend countless hours outside to take advantage of it!
The second reason was it's proximity to the Village of AG. While it has that out in the country feel we enjoy our neighbors and that it is walking distance to the Village and all its perks.
