You are sure to enjoy a fantastic memorable vacation at our Waikoloa Colony Villa
3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath townhouse at the highly popular Waikoloa Beach Resort development on the sunny Kohala Coast. This 1699 sq. ft. villa is just steps to the beautiful resort pool, fitness center and tennis courts.
The living room include a 55” Smart TV and Blue-ray/DVD player. There is phone service for local calls, cable television with premium channels, and high speed wireless internet.
The kitchen is fully stocked including a Keurig, regular coffee maker, rice cooker, waffle maker, blender, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, and more.
There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths upstairs. Bedroom 1 is a master en-suite with a king bed; a queen size bed in bedroom 2, and 2 twins in bedroom 3. There are 3 Air mattress beds (1 king, 1 queen, 1 twin) as well. All bedrooms have TVs.
There is a full bath and washer/dryer in the hall upstairs. And, an additional half bath on the main floor.
Walk to the Waikola BeachChampionship Golf course.
There are 3 outstanding beaches nearby. ʻAnaehoʻomalu Beach (A-Bay) is about 1 ½ miles away. Good for snorkeling and swimming. Hapuna Beach is 7.7 miles to the north. It has a beautiful white sand beach and is good for swimming. Manini’owali Beach (Kua Bay) is 14.8 miles to the south, and is also great for swimming and wave bobbing.

No pets allowed and no more than 8 persons, maximum number of consecutive days booked is 28. Infractions of house rules will result in forfeit of your deposit.

The property location was perfect! Super close to the pool and tennis courts. The property itself could use a little TLC as it had handles for drawers missing, some of the latches for the dresser were loose and the refrigerator just did not work. While Cindy was readily available to help answer questions, it didn’t take away from the fact that we nearly lost all the food we purchased at Costco because we stored it in the fridge that was broken at 63 degrees. I had left dairy, eggs and meat in there for 3 hours and my husband just happened to grab a drink and saw the food was not as cool as it should be. Anyway, we promptly called Cindy and she shared the fridge was acting up and that we could use hers in the garage. Anyway, it was all was fine but the refrigerator along with the guest bathroom upstairs not draining well kind of left an ok experience for us.

We had an excellent stay at this property. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was responsive and made check-in simple. We especially loved that the BBQ’s and pool access were a few steps from our condo and shopping/stores/restaurants is only a few minutes drive. Condo was equipped with everything you needed for the beach, no need to pack anything but sunscreen! It was the perfect home base for our family trip, and we would definitely stay here again!

Perfect condo for the 7 of us. The kitchen is well stocked with kitchenware and spices. They have a Keurig and coffee maker. The living room was spacious with a large smart TV with Netflix and Disney. The beds were all comfortable and having 2.5 bathrooms works well if you have a lot of people. The showers were stocked as well. They even have a closet with amenities like beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards and snorkel equipment. The condo is right across from the pool which was lovely. The location is perfect in the village and easy drives to restaurants and shopping. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. There were beautiful lovebirds and yellow finches and we even saw several mongooses and wild goats. It was a fabulous trip.

Family Vacation

Perfect location! Pool, fitness centre and tennis courts at your door step. Accommodations were very spacious and clean. Amazing shower in the primary bedroom. Close to local shopping and food. 30 minutes from Kona airport. Great rental.

Our family of six had a great time The property is right next to the tennis courts and across the street from the pool and in the Waikoloa complex with the Hilton and Marriot properties and many other rental/ownership homes. Golf and retirement reigns supreme here! Beautiful to run in the mornings around the big loop…

Amazing

We spent a fantastic 8 days at Cindy's place. It is stocked with absolutely everything you could think of in terms of beach chairs, equipment, etc. It was very clean upon checkin and we didn't encounter any bugs. It is in a great location within walking distance to the shops etc. Our kids spent a ton of time in the pool! Would definitely stay again.

It could be better

The location of this rental was its strongest asset, providing convenient access to nearby attractions and amenities. However, several serious issues significantly impacted our stay. The air conditioning wasn’t fully accessible to guests, which made it difficult to adjust the temperature for comfort. We were uncomfortable discovering there was a surveillance camera installed in the lanai area, which felt like an invasion of privacy in what should be a private vacation space. The cleanliness was also concerning - we discovered a plate with leftover food scraps stored in one of the kitchen cabinets, and most troublingly, we encountered a cockroach in the living room area. While the property has potential due to its prime location, these issues with cleanliness, privacy, and guest comfort need to be addressed to provide an acceptable experience.

Thanksgiving Vacation

This was my 1st VRBO experience & Cindy made it a breeze! First off, emails were quickly answered. ‘Check in’ process was easy peasy but if you get there at night the place is a little hard to find because there isn’t much outside lighting which is the case for the island in general. The place is easy to ‘use’ because the host has labeled everything.BTW, the coffee filters are in the long cabinet. If you have trouble with the internet speed, just unplug the router thingy (sorry not a techy) for about a minute and it’ll be fine. The pool is less than a minute away and we were usually the only ones there at times. The place was wonderful and provided a very peaceful vacation!

Absolutely fantastic stay in Colony Villas

Wow. What a fantastic property to stay at on the Big Island. We spent 10 nights in this townhouse and everything was great. Probably most important to me (mom) was that it was very clean and had wonderfully cold air conditioning ;) The location in the bigger Waikoloa resort was great. Really close (walking distance) to two great shopping areas with upscale stores, souvenir shopping and two markets. Close to great swim beaches and a bit of a drive to snorkeling beaches but that wasn’t a problem for us. The community this townhouse is in is quiet and immaculate. The pool was perfect and the teens in our group spent hours there. Just a 30 second walk from our unit. BBQs are at the pool area. It was never crowded. The unit, as I said, was very clean. No complaints at all. Everyone had super comfy beds and slept well. Kitchen is well stocked and clean. Floors are mostly vinyl plank I think so very easy to keep clean. Bathrooms also very clean. Great to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Lots of beach stuff to use…umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, pool noodles, towels, tennis gear for the nearby court. Probably our best short-term rental ever. Would definitely come back again in the future.

Fabulous Indeed!

This property was by far the nicest we've stayed in at Waikaloa Colony Villas! It had EVERYTHING we needed and more -- from a closet packed with pool and beach toys, boogie boards, chairs, coolers . . . to the linen closets filled with sheets, blankets, towels, beach towels, and toiletries . . . to the kitchen well stocked with a variety of cooking pots, pans, waffle maker, rice cooker, blender . . . Everything we needed was right there. The unit is beautifully decorated and spacious. Plenty of room for enjoying family dinners. The patio area is breezy and shaded. The pool, gym, and tennis/pickleball courts are just a few steps away! Highly recommend!

Wonderful property and a complete pleasure

My sister and her two 16-year-old twins came to visit from the mainland. I live on the other side of the island so we did all the things on that side of the island but wanted to go to the Seahorse Farm, do the Manta snorkel and go swimming at the beach a couple of days. I booked this so we could enjoy the sunshine, beaches, shave ice, and warmth from this side. This property was very well-appointed. We never cooked as we were gone almost all day every day but it was great to sit and eat food we picked up. All the appliances were new and clean. The beds were all great as well. I have to mention bugs. Or should I say, "lack of bugs" here. One thing I hate about staying in Waikoloa/Kona are all the bugs and tiny ants everywhere. So much so I don't complain at properties because so many people say "oh, it's part of being here". I never, EVER saw a single bug or ant in this unit and I am SO THANKFUL!!! Wow! Thank YOU!! There were ample chairs and snorkel gear. We didn't need any because I brought all of mine from my house. There was a very nice selection of everything. I enjoyed the ample seating in the dining room, living room, and patio. We were rarely there, but it was nice to sit around for a little while before we collapsed in our beds for the night. I thought the decor of this unit was wonderful. Really a pleasure staying here. I enjoyed how quiet it was. I also enjoyed the quiet central A/C. I would 100% stay here again. Thank you!

Decent condo in Kona area.

Places very clean and well stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Also includes snorkeling and boogie boarding gear, which is great for that area. Guest bathroom showerhead had very low water pressure and made showering difficult for my guests. The master shower on the other hand is very nice and a great relaxing experience

Perfect for us

Condo 1802 was perfect for our family. My daughter and her family are all athletic. The children could go to the pool, hot tub, fitness center and tennis courts on their own and we would know they were nearby. The condo was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed in the kitchen. Also plenty of linens. Everyone packed light so the washer and dryer got used a lot too! Thanks for everything.

Perfect location

Three generation get away (grandparents/kids and grandsons ages 4,6 and 8) to our favorite island. Condo was very clean and perfect location with pool across the street from the back deck. Close enough to get there in a minute but far enough away to not hear the “pool” noise. Big plus- two boogie boards and flippers that we used daily. Also beach chairs, umbrellas, mat and plenty of beach towels. Washer and dryer great too. Comfortable beds/private deck and our gourmet chef SIL found everything he needed in the kitchen! Grocery store and shaved ice minutes away. Multiple amazing beaches 5-15 minutes away. We will be back!

Great stay

We enjoyed the walking trails around to be very enjoyable, good 15 to 20 minute walk to the shoreline trail but worth it. We visited a number of nearby beaches, some you have to pay for parking others are free, Great to be able to use hosts beach gear, everything was organized. We had caught some Ono and was relieved to find everything we needed to cook on site was available, kitchen has all you need. Truly a great place to stay with a family where everyone can relax and unwind and have their own space. Will definitely come back.
