The cabin was very nice as well as the hot tub. The only thing we thought was the couch and living room seating was not very comfortable for a ā€œrelaxing getawayā€ overall very nice and the view was amazing!

Excellent cabin

This cabin was perfect for a quick family trip to Hocking Hills. This is the third time weā€™ve stayed at the Bowie. The inside is spacious, itā€™s clean and having two bathrooms is very convenient. The deck & hot tub were perfect for relaxing after spending the day hiking. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect weekend getaway

I booked this cabin for a girls weekend getaway in January and I can't reccomend this property highly enough. The cabin was spotless, well maintained, and comfortable. The check-in process as the easiest I've ever experienced and the host was quick to respond via the app. My only complaint is that there's no up-to-date phone number that I could find on the listing in case you needed to call someone. I've been reccomending this property to family and friends and will definitely be booking again in the future.

Cabin was great. It was very clean. Looked exactly like the pictures. The only thing I wish is that it had another shower instead of the tub.

Quiet Getaway

Love the Bowie! Our second time staying. Cabin is gorgeous with gorgeous views, hot tub, and everything essential to a relaxing getaway. Was a power outtage due to windstorm but host very responsive to messages and provided frequent updates. Will stay again.

Girls Weekend

It was a great place to get away and hang out. It rained most of our stay so really did not get to enjoy the hot tub and deck much. The windows are great, just wish there was some curtains for nighttime. Thanks so much for a relaxing girls weekend.

Lovely girls trip!

We enjoyed the property so much. We love a girls trip and this cabin was perfect. It was well equipped, beds and furniture were comfortable, really nice appliances. Didnā€™t use the hot tub but it was nice to have it there. Would have spent more time on the great deck but it was cold and rainy. We used the fireplace though which was perfect and the TV got used a lot for some great movies at night. Will definitely be back!!

Hocking Hills Retreat

This property was amazing! The site itself was the perfect mixture of remote and being close to amenities. The cabin was so cute and cozy. It was a great place for our group to get together. We had a few hiccups (like a fuse that flipped) and the Hosts replied within 15 minutes, and someone was out to help within 1.5 hours. I am absolutely amazed at the customer service of Ben and Megan! If I stay in the area in the future, I know I'll be staying with them. I also will not hesitate to recommend this location to my family and friends.

The upstairs bedroom was a perfect place for one who needs a little more room and privacy. Everything was soooo clean and well stocked. Loves the extra touch of having makeup wipes on the sink. The giant bathtub has no trouble being filled with hot water. The surroundings were so peaceful. The ONLY thing we struggled with was the fire pit, it enough seating that felt safe. The clearing isn't very flat. A table and chairs on the deck would be lovely to just eat outside and have the chimney going. I had just one question amd it was answered immediately. Great place!

Cabin in the Trees

This cabin was a perfect size for our family of 5. Small kitchen, dining, and living area with great views from the wall of windows. Time of year we came there were no leaves on the three, so was able to see the tepee/huts below. Had internet and hot tub which our children enjoyed. One main bath with shower worked great as there was a second restroom if/when needed. Only complaint were the beds. Not comfortable, one could feel the springs. Also plenty of pillows, but all soft like on a cotton ball, would have been nice to have a couple firm pillows. Great location, quiet area - parking lot was not used at the time. Great trail on the property and pond. Communication was great with owner and preparing us for the stay, potential bad/rainy weather.

Family trip

We always enjoy our time at the Bowie cabin. When we come to Hocking Hills itā€™s the only place we stay. They have added a gas grill on the deck and a new, comfortable couch in the living room. The hot tub is excellent for relaxing after hiking. We had great communication with the host and the property was very clean. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

V-Day Get away

Cozy cabin with a great view. We really enjoyed spending the rainy weekend keeping warm by the fireplace and binge watching shows. Kitchen was efficient. We plan on coming back when the weather gets warmer.

Fantastic Getaway

The property was just as great as the listing showed. We loved the deck and hot tub. Had fun trampling around the trails on the land. Perfect fall getaway. Very quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend the whole area and Crockettā€™s Run! Thank you for the enjoyable stay!
