The cabin was clean and in a great location by the lake. I chose it over other options because the listing mentioned a hot tub, which was actually a bathtub with jets. WiFi info wasn’t provided at check-in, but the host responded the next day and noted the listing would be updated. Aside from those issues, the stay was nice.

Great Get away!

If you are looking for peace and quite this is the place. We stayed in February so not sure about summer. We loved the charm of the whole place. We loved the privacy we had. Enjoyed the geese as well.

Nice stay at Lake Resort

Clean and Relaxing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is a 3-level home, I love the kitchen setup, the views and how tranquil it was. The only down is the stairs, they are too slim it was hard for our luggage to fit, other than that we loved it and definitely would come back again.

Our stay at log country Cove

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was fine except the spiral staircase. My wife and I are senior citizens and it was a little tough with luggage. But I got it all done. It would just be nice for others to beware of that one issue before they book. Aside from that we had a great time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the steam for our anniversary and my husband’s birthday and we had an absolutely wonderful time. It was so well-maintained, clean, cute and right on the water. We loved it. We are in our mid 70s and it was fine with the corner staircase. Just watch that last step into the kitchen. Ha ha.

Cozy Cabin on the River

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cute lakefront cabin, just as described. Comfortable, with a fantastic view of the water from three outside sitting areas. Wi-Fi and DirectTV and AC worked great. Lots of activities available through Log Country Cove resort. Top-floor bedroom with lots of privacy. Adorable kitchen on the main level, and comfy sitting room w/ TV in the lower level. Perfect location close to area wineries, Marble Falls, and Kingsland. There are two spiral staircases. We were able to navigate them with no problems.

A Nice Getaway Spot

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great place to spend a few days and nights. We were here on weekdays in the off season, so there were very few people at Log Country Cove. It was quiet and there was no problem getting kayaks, etc. The cabin is very clean and well maintained in general. The lock on the door to the outside is a bit tricky and often required a few attempts to get it open. The spiral staircase is about as narrow as one can possibly be, so it helps to be a narrow person when climbing it! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The grounds are very beautiful and well maintained. We plan to return!

Quiet Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a beautiful location! We had a 2 night stay in Steen for a wedding on site. I’ve never been to the area so was quite surprised by the beauty of the lake, the grounds, and WOW! do they have log cabins. Steen had everything we needed for our short stay. The kitchen was equipped with what we needed to make breakfast. Kuerig and coffee pot but I forgot the coffee. A short walk to the office and we were greeted by friendly staff and a cup of coffee. The events building had a rustic elegant charm and was a perfect fit for the character of the bride and groom. I hope I have the opportunity to come back for another stay.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family has been staying here for years and have always loved it. Two incidents have changed all that. Though their web site goes into detail about Covid precautions, no office staff was observed wearing masks to safe guard their guests. This made us wonder if their cleaning practices were also mere words rather than actions. Additionally,they are now advertising their political views on their office. I understand that is their personal right, but professionally it makes some guests feel unwanted at their establishment.
