All good, great view of lake channel.One hiccup, had very limited use of water( no showers, toilets) for about a full day due to septic sewage issues. Resolved during our stay.

Beautiful Views

We could not have asked for a more peaceful place to spend time with our family. The house was clean, beds were comfortable. Beautiful lake views from almost every room. We would definitely stay again.

Knot Done

Special time after being away from the lake for approximately 42 years. A perfect place to reignite our love of the lake. Even better meeting the Owners, such gracious and lovely people. Their home was beautifully appointed, and accommodations plentiful, pristine.

Perfect for Christmas

My family celebrated Christmas here. It was perfect. Two living rooms made it a lot easier too! We had a ping pong competition, opened presents, and enjoyed the view. A big kitchen was also a huge plus since we cooked a lot. I would definitely stay here again!

Awesome

We loved this home for several reasons! Three king rooms with great views, the view from the living room and game room of the lake is also breathtaking. The deck on the lake is so peaceful and we enjoyed our stay very much. If you see an open date on the calendar I would recommend you book it quickly.

Great view not much else

Home has a great view but it ends there. The house started to smell like garbage given the location of the bins (inside near kitchen). Owners showed up unannounced to use their boat and dock which was never mentioned in the rental agreement. Beds, other than master, are super uncomfortable. Found 4 cockroaches and a lizard on one of the beds when we checked in.

Lovely Lake View

A great view of Lake Burton from almost every room in the home. While there is plenty to do in the surrounding mountains, we decided to stay put most of the time and sipped coffee in the morning and wine in the evening on top of the boathouse. A few details: the closest big grocery store is about 30 minutes away, the coffee maker takes #4 cone style filters, the Wi-Fi didn’t handle streaming content well, but there was a solid 2 bars for AT&T.

Beautiful Rustic Lake House

My family of 12 visited from Florida and had the most wonderful stay at Knot Done. The aesthetic of the home was absolutely perfect. The view of Lake Burton was to die for. We had a conversation with fisherman boating by in a bass fishing tournament right from the sliding window of the dining room! The decor was mixtures of worldly collections and antique pieces, but with a perfectly modern kitchen and amenities. The home was large and cozy at the same time. The Sleep Number bed in the master bedroom was a 10/10. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. My mother loved being able to play the piano and loved using the music books provided. My nephew bought a fishing pole at a local bait and tackle shop and had a wonderful time fishing off of the dock’s upper deck. The screened in patio was the most enjoyable place to drink our morning coffees. We would absolutely stay here again!

Presidents Day Weekend Friends Trip

My wife and I stayed at Knot Done with 3 other couples over Presidents Day weekend and it was fantastic. The views of the lake and mountains are spectacular and the proximity to Helen and the surrounding area wineries is great. We even found a few new ones a bit further north that we'd never been to.

Wonderful stay!

Wonderful home on Lake Burton. There were 8 of us and plenty of room to spread out and have fun. The rec room stuff: billiards table and ping pong is in need of repair but still usable. The bedrooms are comfortable - two master suites which is nice both with lovely views of the lake. Terrific location on Lake Burton with a great deck on top of the boat house to read a book, eat lunch, just watch the boats go by. The kitchen is well stocked. Home was clean and ready when we arrived. Recommend if you want to stay in the area.

Accurate description of home

The home was comfortable for our family of 5. The kitchen had everything we needed and the home offers wonderful lake views and is near some nice hiking trails. The only negative is that there is a lot of stuff on the main floor and it makes the space feel a bit crowded. Overall, we are pleased with the house and would recommend.

Lake House for Thanksgiving week

Our family enjoyed this Lakehouse. I would recommend it. The location is very beautiful and the house was perfect for our family. The picture window in the living area was a perfect spot to enjoy the sunrise. There is also a screened in porch with seating and the upper deck of the boat house were both perfect for hanging out on pretty days.
