Waterfront vacation home built in 1930s, right on the Gulf. Well-chosen updates make it clean and modern, while retaining old-world charm: solid windows downstairs flood the house w light and provide views of passing dolphins and diving pelicans. The open kitchen lets you watch the kids playing on the sandbars while you're cooking. The outdoor shower under the oak trees with Gulf view? - doesn't get much better than that!

Our sleeping porch upstairs means fun for kids old and young. Four more cozy BRs make this charming home perfect for your family reunion or peaceful getaway.
If you can tear yourself away, go explore nearby fishing villages of Carrabelle and Panacea, historic Apalachicola, and the spectacular wide beaches of St George Island.
Just under a one-hour drive from Tallahassee Airport.

The house is old school cool on the Forgotten Coast. We had 6 adults and 6 kids and there was plenty of room for us all. The ocean view is awesome as it's just steps away from the house. Love the area's undeveloped feel. It's a great place to just get away from it all and relax.

Great Family Vacay!

Quaint home right on your own private beach!! We rented kayaks and paddle boards. We had a fabulous time with our entire family. Played games, cooked dinners together, sat by the beach.....it was wonderful!! Plenty of room for everyone! We will be back!!

Awesome Getaway!

This was absolutely the best place we've ever stayed! There were 10 of us and we ranged in age from 2 to 70. Great fit for everyone and the proximity to the beach was wonderful. Every adult (6) entered the house saying "Wow, this is great!" There was plenty of room for all, and no one complained about anything. We stayed a week and only ate out one meal. When we realized we were going to run out of garbage space in the bear proof can, Tracy and her brother came up with a solution. My daughter said it was awesome and my daughter in law said it was the most relaxed she'd been her entire furlough. It was great to have all our family in one house since this was the first time we were all together in 4 years. We plan to stay here again!

A step back in time

This was the most relaxing vacation property we have ever stayed at. Such beautiful views and scenery in such a unique setting. It was a step back in time, which was truly appreciated by all of us. The house and surroundings were a true picture of my vision when reading novels like Sullivan’s Island. The gazebo was everyone’s favorite place. We hope to return soon.

Great homey location

Perfect location for a low key family get together. Very comfortable and quiet location with all we needed to prepare family dinners, play cards and relax on the beach. Plenty of room to travel with extended family thanks to the kids room with 5 beds. Owners are easy to contact if needed.

If you want to take a step back from today’s reality , this is the place. Peaceful, relaxing, beautiful & old fashioned. This is the perfect place to unwind. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

back to school vacation

This property is basically on its own private beach with a few other houses. The house set up with beds and furnishings was ideal for our large gathering. Kitchen had everything we needed and with the out door shower we were all able to get ready easily. We sat on the dock over looking the beach and ocean each evening watching the storms rolling in and it was heaven. If your looking to go out to eat your looking at driving 20 to 45 mins so plan to cook at home some nights. We loved our stay.

Perfect Beachfront Vacation

We had an amazing time on our vacation. The house was very spacious and homey. Lots of bedrooms and never felt crowded with our group. The AC was nice and cold. Lots of bathrooms with great water pressure. There were two refrigerators in the kitchen which worked out great since we traveled with two family’s. Every morning we walked out to the gazebo to enjoy the beautiful beachfront views. It was so easy to relax in the shade of the gazebo while the kids enjoyed playing in the sand and water. The beach is very private and just the local residents are on it. It has a very friendly welcoming feel to the beach and surrounded by nature. The waters are calm and easy to play in with small kids. There are also sandbars to you can walk out and fish off the beach. The beach is in the backyard so we could easily enjoy it throughout the day and evening without having to tote a bunch of stuff. The hosts were great and helpful. We look forward to revisiting again.

Family Beach Vacation

Had a great time. Even with 3 solid days of rain the house had enough spaces for people to get away in order not to get stir crazy. The outdoor deck is fantastic!

Riggio’s Family getaway-2021

It was a great week. Twelve of our family members spent time on the beach fishing and taking walks. The gazebo allows you to be near the beach without walking in the sand if that is what you prefer. Great, quite area

This home was perfect for our family of 7, but we were blown away by the privacy. The area was quite and a majority of time throughout the week, we had the whole beach to ourselves without another person in sight for miles. We may have seen a total of about 50 people the entire week, including Labor Day. We loved St Teresa and will definitely stay here again.

Secluded Haven!

Our family really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space, beautiful lawn leading to the coveted outdoor space. We were blessed with the best weather, light coastal breeze With clean beach. Plan meals and go prepared with ingredients but if you forget something, there are several stores within 15 minute drive. Have fun, we hope to make this our annual summer family vacation!

Quiet and private beach house like grandma had

This 1930’s style house is well-kept and straight out of old Florida beach experience. With a great back porch view of the lawn to the beach, we really enjoyed our week there. A short walk to a private on-beach, covered deck provided a very nice beach experience.

Wonderful old cottage that feels like home.

This is one of the most comfortable beach homes we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in quite a few over the years. Such a warm lived in feeling. Felt like we were home as soon as we walked in. We love spending time relaxing on the less develop, less crowded beaches and this certainly has made the top of our list. The Forgotten Coast of Florida is one of our favorite places to visit and this old Florida cottage was perfect. The yard is shaded and there are lots of trees around, trees right up to the edge of the sand. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the deck/gazebo which is close to the waters edge. The shade the gazebo provided was perfect for staying out of the sun while still being out on the beach. With the constant gulf breeze it was very comfortable. The weather was perfect while we were there. The water was wonderful and we spent a big part of our time swimming and paddle boarding. The water was calm enough to enjoy paddle sports right from the beach. It was close enough to Apalachicola that we spent a day there. It is a great coastal community to explore and shop. We also took a day trip to St. George Island and explored St. George Island State Park. It is a beautiful park. The hosts were very easy to work with and a pleasure talking to. We hope to visit again soon and will definitely be looking to see if this lovely cottage is available! Thanks guys!

Beautiful, quite, private, relaxing

Beautiful home and location. It was so comfortable with a real “home away from home” feeling. The house is exactly as described and is right on the beach with a shady, grass lawn between the house and beach. The covered deck at the beach was wonderful. The owners are as nice as they can be and very easy to work with. We would absolutely stay there again.

St Teresa is a magical place to all the families like ours who have been lucky enough to spend time there. We never get tired of the light, the views, the fact that little children can wade out in the shallow water and gentle waves. We hope you fall in love with it too.
