Lovely apartment close to river

The flat was just perfect for the two of us. The tram is a short block away, and we figured out the public transportation by the end of our stay to get all over the city.

First time visiting Lyon

Great area, we walked to most things and tram was only a block away. Communication with host excellent and rapid, important because we had a delayed arrival and they still met us.

A comfortable, smart apartment

Ideally situated in a quiet part of the city. Neighbourhood had a range of shops and restaurants. Bus stop very near. Loved having not just one balcony, but two! A well-appointed and comfortable apartment.

A real homestay

It could not have been better. A perfect location with a balcony view of the Rhône and a short walk to any river cruise. The apartment felt like a home in every respect. We were met by the owner who spoke excellent English and who gave us helpful advice about local shopping.

Perfect Apartment in Lyon

We had a wonderful time in the apartment. Clean, very comfortable bed, close to bus & tram - Metro not too far away. Very good restaurants around the corner as well as nice bars. One can easily walk into town. It’s such a pretty city - we were amazed. Hopefully back soon. Thanks for your hospitality.

Excellent location!!!

We chose this VRBO because of its unbeatable location and the modern look it had in the photos—and the location truly did not disappoint. It’s conveniently close to the Rhône River, the university, shopping areas, a laundromat, and the T1 tram line. We stayed for a month and a half, and the owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay.Additionally, the kitchen was fully stocked with several coffee making options a new microwave and a nice large fridge.That said, we were a bit let down by the bed situation. The listing mentioned a king-size bed, but it was actually a queen.Since we were there for an extended stay, we did have a few rainy and windy days where we stayed indoors. Unfortunately, the TV was quite small and outdated, offering limited French-only channels and no access to streaming services. While we didn’t come to France to watch TV, having a newer model with more entertainment options would’ve been appreciated for the downtime.Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would return, but we do hope the bed situation is updated to match the listing for future guests.

Exquisite apartment near the major universities

The flat was exquisitely decorated with many beautiful and thoughtful touches. It features a separate bedroom with a sofa bed in the living room, two working desks plus a small table in the kitchen and larger, elegant dining room table -- so it would be possible for an academic couple to stay here comfortably for an extended sabbatical given that the two top universities are in the neighborhood. The flat was well appointed, with a particularly well-stocked kitchen, directions to all appliances carefully stored for easy access, an electric kettle and toaster (essential for us!) and everything we needed for cooking in. Gorgeous balconies provided a view of the river and excellent breezes in the summer which made sleeping easy in this quiet neighborhood. The building itself was lovely with friendly neighbors, located in a university neighborhood with many cafes, little specialty shops and everything one needs for daily life. It's not central to the key tourist locations, but gives one the feeling of living in the real Lyon instead! The hosts were responsive and excellent - and their flat is highly recommended! Very comfortable and beautiful besides. Excellent wifi. French tv channels only.

University neighborhood

It would be appealing to a younger age group. Very walkable area. An unattended property meant no one to accept delivery (was important this trip). Kitchen spare but has all one needs. A good wine opener and nice glasses would be welcome. Great shower.

Schöne moderne Stadtwohnung

Die Wohnung liegt gut und zentral um Lyon kennenzulernen. Tiefgarage war ideal. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Die Eingangshalle mit Fahrstuhl ist einladend. Die Wohnung ist funktional, komplett und bequem ausgestattet. Wir kommen wieder.

Des hôtes au petit soins, un logement très bien placé.

J'ai passé un excellent séjour, mes hôtes mon accueilli dans de très bonne conditions, le logement est à la hauteur de la description de l'annonce. Le logement bénéficie de toutes prestations annoncées avec un emplacement à proximité des berges du Rhône.

Well located and very nice apt.

The apartment is well located near tram and bus stops. Also nearby are a couple of grocery stores, several restaurants and beautiful river views. The apt is very tastefully decorated, kitchen is very well equipped, (had a great coffee maker) there are two balcony's the larger one has a table and chairs which was nice for apero! Having a parking space available was a big plus as street parking is at a premium. Would recommend this apt for its location to the Perrache train station, great shopping and many bouchon restaurants! Had a friend spend a couple of nights, a little less furniture in the living room would make opening the sofa bed easier. Totally enjoy the apartment and the surrounding area.

Appartement très agréable mais loin des commodités

Nous avons séjourné 15 jours dans cet appartement. Il est très agréable et bien agencé. Pour un long séjour son équipement reste minimaliste (nous avons du demander avec insistance un séchoir à linge indispensable pourtant dans un appartement annoncé avec lave linge - Après avoir réitéré trois fois notre demande, on nous a finalement remis cet équipement). L'appartement est situé dans un quartier calme mais malheureusement ne dispose d'aucune commodité à proximité immédiate (- de 300 m). L'appartement est beau malgré le fait qu'il ait déjà subi une certaine usure (peintures écaillées, fissures,...). J'ai du prendre en charge le remplacement d'une vitre qui a fissurée alors qu'elle avait déjà plusieurs accrocs.

Très agréable

Nous recommandons vivement cet appartement très bien situé et refait à neuf. La décoration est agréable, l’appartement très propre et bien agencé. Idéal pour 2 personnes ( chambre avec grand lit) il peut y accueillir 4 personnes grâce au canapé lit dans le salon. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires avec des petites attentions dans la cuisine En espérant y revenir prochainement.

lovely, well situated apartment

The living room was very comfortable, there was a great shower and a fully equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and two great reading lights one on each side of the bed. It would have been perfect if the owner had an instruction book for using the appliances. We figured them out but it took some doing. The concierge was very helpful but it had to be done with our limited french.

Excellent séjour!

Nous avons passé un agréable week-end de 3 jours sur Lyon. L'appartement est très bien situé, 10 minutes à pieds de la place Bellecour. Le parking sécurisé est un vrai plus, il permet de laisser la voiture au garage tout le weekend end et de tout faire à pieds. L'appartement est parfait pour 4 adultes, le canapé lit est confortable et le salon fait très bien office de chambre avec le paravent. Le logement est décoré avec goût, on se sent comme chez soi! Je recommande!
