Light, Bright & Airy Ranch! 3rd house from the Beach & Jenkinson’s Boardwalk!

Hello... First, let me thank you for your rental. We hope you enjoyed your stay. As to your complaint, our intent is to create a clean, fresh-smelling and inviting atmosphere for each new guest entering our home. It's what we, ourselves, personally expect, whenever we rent a vacation house. To ensure this, we pay a maid to check our house in between each rental. All that is expected of our guests is to please leave the house in the same condition as they found it. We leave cleaning supplies, a large sliding under-counter trash container, an additional large trash bin next to the stove, and a small bin in the bathroom. After you checked out, our maid called to inform us that, upon opening the door, the entire house smelled. The garbage bins were over-flowing and unemptied - for how long, we are unsure. The bed quilts were in crumpled piles on the bed - not how you found it - and while it's not a travesty, it's a general nicety to simply straighten out the beds for the next guest. We did pay the maid an extra $30.00 to empty all the garbage cans and straighten the beds out. When we informed you of this, YOU were the one who advised me to take that amount out of your security. You also apologized, and I accepted your apology. It's unfair that you are now complaining about this to others, and gave us only 4 stars.
