Country house in the Finger Lakes region

Beautiful farmhouse on 100 acre farm nestled in the Finger Lakes Region. The house has 3 bedrooms & can accommodate 8 people with 2 Queen size beds, 1 full size & a sleeper sofa. If you are traveling with children we have toys available for them to play with. There are hiking trails, 2 ponds on the property for swimming, kayaks available to use on the pond & many local attractions. Located 25 minutes from Keuka Lake, 23 minutes from the Corning Museum of Glass, 27 minutes from Watkins Glen International Raceway and Watkins Glen State Park.

Our barn is a wedding venue. It's a separate rental from the house. If you're looking for a beautiful place to host an outdoor or barn wedding. You can be married by our large pond or in the barn. The barn and our tent can accommodate up to 300 guests. Check out our website www.whitetailridgefarmny.com. We will let you know if a wedding/event is scheduled during your stay. You can check our website event calendar before you book.

What an absolutely gorgeous and roomy property. This is a new house to us, but we’ve stayed with Ray and Destiny before - highly recommend!! Beautifully kept home and property - left feeding the pond fish bonus!

Beautiful piece of property, house was very clean and well equipped with all we needed as far as kitchen utensils and appliances. Very quiet area was quite relaxing. There was a good amount of different things to do within a 1/2 hour drive. Overall we were very satisfied with the rental.

Great place to stay if you want to get away but also stay within a short country drive of the Finger Lakes sites. Plenty of room in the house plus areas to explore on the property. Easy check in/check out process. Feels like a visit to Grandma’s house in the country. Highly recommend and I’m planning a return visit.

Loved our peaceful stay!

We absolutely loved staying here and would come back! It was so peaceful and such an awesome opportunity for our family (that lives so far apart) to spend much needed time together. Plenty of space and outdoor adventure right on the property!

Perfect get away

We stayed here for a short get away. The house is in a perfect location to relax, super quiet with plenty of room. This house is very clean throughout and had everything we needed. We hope to stay here again in the future!

Quiet gem tucked away

This is the 2nd time we stayed here. Plenty of room for 2 couples. We only stayed a long weekend but it was lovely.

A great stay

The house was comfortable and well stocked. It rained most of our trip so we really got to enjoy staying inside. The barn for events was closer than I realized though, and that took away some.of the feeling of privacy.

The house is nice with three nicely sized bedrooms. The fenced in area for the dogs was a huge plus. The home has very nice country decor and quality beds and antique dressers. I asked ahead about events at the barn. I was glad that I did. The barn is beautiful, but close. It's beautiful countryside and there are a few options for grocery and food delivery. If you want to cook, the kitchen cookware is a little limited, but we got by just fine. Communication from the owners was excellent.

Peaceful Retreat with a Perfect Pond

The house was lovely! A great location for us, the house and bedrooms were spacious and the pond was just the perfect cherry on top. The property is really ideal for anyone wanting to plan a party with the adjacent barn venue. Also, we had a mishap with one of the window and the owners were kind and communicative. We would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Oct 2024 Finger lakes visit

We chose this location as it was centrally located to most of the attractions we were targeting to visit. The property was very spacious and clean and as described on the web site. While many of the beautiful parks offered the same experience (rims-gorges-waterfalls-stairs) the one unique place not to miss is the corning glass museum. we would very much stay at the property again and give our kind host a big "thankyou"!

Great Getaway

It was very peaceful, full of wildlife. A great place to walk the dog. The house was roomy and clean. The kitchen was very well equipped. A piece of the yard was fenced for the dog and in case you want your privacy. A fire pit to sit around and enjoy the night air and stars.

Beautiful Property

This property is very private and lovely. Had a wonderful pond and several trails. We had our dogs and they had a blast running around playing ball. It’s a drive to get into the town of Watkins Glen, but if you are looking for seclusion, it’s perfect. The house was super clean and well maintained. Owners were very accessible if needed.

Quiet getaway

The house is a very nice spacious property. Everything works as it should. Its location is very convenient to both Keuka and Seneca Lakes. Local Diner is very good for breakfast and close by. Be aware there are some dirt roads in the drive to Hammondsport, but they are not terrible. Nice Farm location, Pond, extremely quiet road, great sleep!

Weekend get away

This house was cute and charming and the layout of the house and pond were beautiful nice and open. We loved the fire pit patio and the pond with kayaks was so much fun! Happy that the backyard had a fenced in area as there was another event taking place in the barn on Saturday so it was nice that we could still be outside but not have to worry about seeing other people at the other event. The hosts were easy to get ahold of and responded to any questions in a timely manner.

Fantastic Relaxing Property!!

Amazing chances for the children to explore nature. Beautiful uncluttered interior of house. This was a perfect spot to relax at the end of our day of exploring the Finger Lakes area. The air conditioning was fabulous. There were 3 different spots to enjoy our meals: at the large family table inside, at a small picnic table within a gated backyard perfect for toddlers, and at the fire pit. If we ever have the opportunity to return to the area, we would certainly check the availability of this property!!!

Country beauty

The owners were always and quickly available, for any question. Their response was the best of any owners we've ever encountered while renting. They have re-done the house beautifully and tastefully inside, while the outside is gorgeous, with many lovely gardens. The property is magical ~ quiet, serene, star-studded, all one could want in a home-away-from-home. Top marks!
