kept private oasis on a quiet lane featuring four bedrooms, four and a half
bathrooms, living and dining room on first floor, separate living room on the
lower level with outdoor living space, a pool and well thought out landscaping.
This well-furnished property is a short bike ride to Main Street yet far away from
the summer rush. This perfectly situated home is classic, comfortable, spacious
and in an ideal location, close to town, Madaket and Cisco. @6hedgebury

Superb home

We feel lucky to have landed in this terrific place. Located in a quiet little nook very close to the town center, the house was clean and had all the amenities we wanted. It presented even better than as advertised and we’d stay again in a heartbeat.

Christmas Stroll Weekend

The house was perfect for our group of 4 couples. There was plenty of room to socialize and we all enjoyed having our own bathroom. We were fine with the 10+ minute walk to town for all of the events, even with the chilly temperatures. We left dreaming of a summer stay at this great house so we can use the pool!

Great house close to town

The house was clean and well maintained. There’s a pool in the backyard that the kids loved. Plenty of space with an extra living room in the basement. A+ experience and would definitely rent it again.

Birthday Weekend

Incredible property, clean, neat, all the amenities a group could want. Easy access to town via bikes at the house, central to everything. Home is brand new / updated, absolutely stunning. Touches of "home" everywhere. Lisa is an incredible host!

Perfect in every way!

The house is beautiful, tastefully and comfortably decorated, well stocked bar and kitchen, a short drive into town. Lisa was kind and attentive. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

Perfect Home and Location for a Nantucket Stay

A group of 7 of us stayed at Hedged Bet for the weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect for us. Lisa was so helpful with responding to questions prior to and during our stay. The house was more than well equipped with a stocked kitchen, plenty of beach and pool gear, bicycles for use, a mini bar and more. The photos do not do this home justice and the decor is perfectly Nantucket. The location is perfect, about a mile walk to town. We lucked out with great weather at the end of September and were able to use the heated pool as well. Would absolutely return again!

Perfect property, perfect location, great owners!

We spent a joyful week at Hedged Bet and marveled over the ease of location to town and to the beaches. The property was well kept and provisioned and designed in a way to provide privacy and plenty of community spaces with 2 comfy living rooms on 2 different floors. The heated pool hit the spot and the outdoor area was enjoyed by all. We felt at home immediately as the owners went out of their way in being responsive and thoughtfully making recommendations and accommodations for us. We have already booked for next year and can’t wait to return!

France didn't happen so Nantucket did and thankfully so!

What makes this particular house a standout were our hosts. They were amazing every step of the way. From our first exchange to our arrival, they built up our anticipation and excitement about our virgin trip to Nantucket. They provided us a list of resources such as places to dine, favorite shops, where to bike, where to buy the best produce, meats & fish and shared their island favorites with us. Their home is lovely! We walked into town daily for our morning treats and coffee. We used their bikes to get around. The pool was heated upon our arrival which was a treat. They even had floats for us:) The house is well appointed. There was a even a basket full of clean, cozy matching Nantucket themed blankets ~ enough for all of us. The kitchen was stocked perfectly for the chefs in our family. Loved that everyone had their own bathroom. Quality linens, comfortable beds, sofas and chairs all made for an awesome experience. Each couple took time at one point or another to rock in the front-porch rocking chairs. Ah, relaxation. That's what this trip was all about. This house is in an ideal location in my family's opinion.... close enough to the town but far enough to enjoy the evening's quiet; close enough to a couple of the beaches for a good bike ride, a delicious bite to eat and to Madaket for the prettiest sunsets. Truly, the hosts are what made our experience such a delight.

Beautiful home and excellent location

Property was a perfect set up for families. Pool was beautiful and was so nice to have bikes and other amenities provided. Location is perfect - felt private but perfect distance to still be able to walk to town! Loved.

Amazing home and wonderful Hosts

A must stay on Nantucket! Wonderful property and owners! Loved every moment of our time at this home and we will be back again in the future. Close to downtown but yet private and quiet part of the island! Many thanks to these hosts!
