PROPERTY: 1 private acre, beautifully landscaped yard surrounding pool.
Pool House: 2 outdoor showers, tons of pool floats & Games. Pool: 20x40 saltwater pool, with automatic cover (very safe for kids!)

AMAZING LOCATION: Walk & bike everywhere - 15 min walk to town, 10 min bike to Brewery.

HOUSE: 4,550 sq ft, with multiple living and dining areas

BEDROOMS: 5 total, with 2 true master suites, great for multifamily or large groups.

BATHROOMs: 4 full and 2 half, all new, including 3 ensuite and 2 half baths.

AMENITIES: 10 adult bikes, 10 beach chairs, beach and pool floats and games, as well as plenty of in-house games and activities.

We loved our stay at Meg’s property! The house was perfect for a bachelorette weekend- it is perfectly located close to town and beaches, with great outdoor space for relaxing by the pool and big group dinners! Would definitely stay here again!

Easy process to check in. Host was very responsive and gave clear directives. Well located home made it easy to ride bikes to the brewery or catch rides into town. Overall, great experience!

Members of our family have been visiting Nantucket for over 50 years. Meg's home is clean, quiet, well-equipped, and wonderfully located. The heated pool is a big plus, and we enjoyed taking the bikes to the golf course, the farm, the beach, and the food truck at 167 Raw.

Amazing House for Large Group

We stayed at Meg's house for a college friend's wedding and it was absolutely perfect! The house was beautiful, located perfectly near all of the major attractions and so roomy for all of us!

This past weekends stay in this beautiful Nantucket home was more than we ever could imagined. This house was perfect. So perfect that it was hard to leave the pool to go explore the rest of the island!! Haha. We loved riding the house’s bikes into town and hanging by the pool all day. This house is even bigger and spacious in person and I will be back!!! Thank you to Meg who went above and beyond to make our vacation so special and easy.

We had such a great stay at this Nantucket home! It was spacious, super clean, and perfect for our group. The pool was beautiful, and the property itself was stunning. We especially loved the big deck and the open family room that flowed right onto it—perfect for hanging out together.The two en-suite master bedrooms were a huge plus, and the house easily fit all eight of us with room to spare. It was really well stocked with everything we needed, which made things so easy.The host was amazing—communicative, organized, and thoughtful throughout our stay We’d absolutely recommend this place and would love to come back!

Meg’s property was beautiful! She was very responsive and expectations for the property were clear. The pool was heated and the pool cover was incredibly convenient, keeping it clean at all times. We comfortably slept 10 adults in this house. The house is an easy walk into town and also came with a full set of bicycles, perfect for biking to Cisco/ town/ the beach! Would definitely stay here again!

Loved this home!

We had a wonderful time! The home is cozy but roomy at the same time - great living spaces. The pool and big yard were awesome and so enjoyed that we didn't have as many trips to the beach! Loved this vacation!!!

Nice central location just a bike ride or Wave ride away from everything

Our family experienced lots of fun, fellowship and good food. We rode bikes or took the wave everywhere. The pool is awesome! Game night was a hit for our family. The temperature upstairs was a problem for some but not terrible. Beds were good. House is well stocked. Would stay again. The rule list was intimidating to my family at first but we worked as a team to follow.

Fantastic Stay

Our stay at the house was absolutely wonderful — it was stocked with everything you could need for a large group. The house and yard is even better than described and the pool is icing on the cake. The owners were incredibly communicative and responsive throughout our entire stay. The location was ideal with town, the beach, and Cisco a scenic bike ride or walk away. I highly recommend staying here and would rebook without question.

Girl’s Weekend

Meg’s house was perfect for a long weekend girl’s trip! The 8 of us enjoyed the beautiful pool, yard, and great room. The house is large and and fit our group comfortably. The location was very convenient - walkable to town and close to bike paths. We would definitely recommend!

Great Stay!

The property was beautiful, and perfect for our big group of 10! The pool was beautiful, with an easy automatic cover that took seconds to operate. The house was just as listed on its profile. Only note is that if you have an early flight or departure, you should know that washing all of your own sheets and towels is a part of the rental agreement. Host was very accomodating and easy to reach!

The loveliest Nantucket property!

We had 14 people in our group (extended family) staying at this property for a week and we all loved it! The ages of our group ranged from 1 year old to 48 years old and there was plenty of room for us to spread out but also come together for meals and movie/game nights! The backyard and pool area is absolutely stunning and we enjoyed the privacy and greenery of that setting! The house itself is very well appointed and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay, and much much more! The host were very responsive and accommodating of all of our outreach and requests. The location of the house worked well for us as it’s a short drive to most of the beaches that we wanted to visit as well as a short drive to town! It has all that beautiful Nantucket charm on a beautiful, private lot. We would definitely come back and can’t recommend this house enough.

Beautiful home with all the amenities

This was a great house for the size group that we had (8 adults and 3 toddlers). The kids loved having their own space in the basement with bunk beds. The house was spacious enough to not feel like we were crowded and we were able to comfortably eat together. The location is within walking distance to downtown (about a 30 minute walk) and the yard was great for the kids to run around in to burn some energy. Meg was a pleasure to work with on the rental.

Excellent early summer season stay

What a wonderful home - so clean, spacious, cozy, and welcoming. The location is perfect to walk/bike into town. The bikes at the home (10 of them!) were nice and easy to use. If you don't have car, the free shuttle stops at the end of the street. Beds were comfortable, house has all you need for cooking, beaching, or pool life. Having 2 family rooms was great when people wanted to watch different shows or play games. We cooked a wonderful lobster dinner one night and the long table in the family room was the perfect setting for our family and some friends. SInce it was early in the beach season, we really spent a lot of time swimming and relaxing around the pool. Oh - we also LOVED the 2 outdoor showers! Meg was so easy to communicate with as well. Just an awesome home all around! We hope to rent it again!

summer family respite

so peaceful and lush with an incredible yard and pool. the kids had the freedom they needed to run, play, and explore. the adults had plenty of places for quiet reading. so much seating. we could all dine in or outside together and gather in one room to hang. we couldn’t decide if we liked the cozy fireplace den or the big breezy living room. very well supplied home. and so close to town, yet felt rural, settled in amongst the land banks. the trails to town were a sweet discovery passing by apple orchards and ponds along the way

Gem close to Cisco and Town

Stayed for the 4th of July week this year. Two families, including 6 kids ranging from 9-14. House is immaculate and well stocked. Beds are super comfortable and the AC is great to keep things dry. The pool is beautiful and a great way to end every day. Two outdoor showers made coming home from the beach easy, not to mention a beautiful spot to cool down after a morning run or ride. Meg responded to every question promptly and was always easy to work with. 5 stars without question.

What an amazing property

The house at 12 Hawthorne Lane was the perfect vacation home for my family! It’s extremely versatile with 2 large family rooms inside and 3 different sitting areas outside - a side grill deck with a large sit-down table, a back deck with ample patio furniture, and the swimming pool with big umbrellas and seats. All of the amenities worked so well - a LARGE washer and dryer, an indoor and garage refrigerator, the dishwater, garage to store our bikes, and all kitchen appliances. The house was well stocked with paper products and basic necessities along with ample towels for the swim scene. And the pool! It is awesome - so clean, with an electric pool cover and a pool house with loads of toys and 2 showers. Overall, the house provided such a practical and warm home for our big family!

The house was great, and perfectly as advertised! We really appreciate Meg’s attention to detail and having everything needed on hand to make the week go smoothly (tons of towels, shampoo, dishwasher soap, etc.) the location was perfect for a crew close enough to town to quickly get in, but also easy to get to the beaches or out for a bike ride, and we loved the serenity of the big backyard and the pool was perfectly maintained.Would return!

I'm Meg! My husband and I have always loved Nantucket. It is such a special place to us that we decided to get married there. We live in New York full time, but we are always looking for a way to get back out to Nantucket.

We purchased this home in the Fall of 2014. This house has been a very fun and special project for us, and we enjoy sharing our home with both repeat and new visitors to the island.
