At The Lilly Pad, you'll have every amenity needed for a wonderful Corolla vacation. This comfortably furnished, oceanside home is located in the Ocean Sands community where you'll have access to the community tennis courts and the 7-acre fishing lake!

At The Lilly Pad, enjoy the 12' x 25' pool with large sunbathing area. When you're ready to get salty, enjoy convenient access to the beach! Spend your days splashing in the surf and soaking up the sun! When you're back from the beach, relax on the porch hammock and even catch a few Zs. The spacious upstairs area provides the perfect spot for everyone to come together and watch a movie on the flat screen TV, have a family meal, or just hang out and relax. The dining room table has enough seating for 8, plus there's breakfast bar seating for 2!

Great location and easy access to the beach! The short walk to the beach was amazing! Foodlion and a lot of other shopping is just a 5 min drive down the road.

Clean, close to beach, just what we needed

loved the back woods path to the beach access. Clean bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. Would stay here again!

Good house for the price point and location

We rented this property for its price point, location, and the heated pool as we stayed the first week of June. Our 2nd full day we realized that a circuit blew and had no lights or electrical switches that worked on the back end of the 3rd floor or dining area. We also realized the garbage disposal was not working. We called the maintenance number and spoke to someone. They put in a work order however no one ever called or came out to fix this issue. By Thursday we noticed the bottom of the pool looking dirty. Friday it was worse so we called maintenance again and left a message about the pool and the initial issues. As of checkout none of this issues had been resolved nor did we ever receive a call back. Despite these issues we did enjoy our stay and the house was great for the price point and for a family of 4.

Wonderful house for families

This house was absolutely wonderful. Very thoughtfully decorated and cared for. We had teenagers to toddlers and it was perfect. Baby gates were already in the home to block off the stairs for our toddler. Our teenager had a whole floor with a private bathroom to himself as well. The outdoor space and living room space were by far our favorites. The pool is great (paying for the heated pool was well worth it for the cool weather) and the hot tub was perfect. Even the little signs everywhere were charming (my 7 year old thought the monkey sign outside was the best!). Family pictures made it feel so welcoming and it was really nice to see the family that put so much love into the home. Kitchen is updated and clean. Living room was spacious and very comfortable. Beds were nice. Crows nest on top of the house - you can see a bit of the ocean between houses! Frogs and toads everywhere at night, which the kids loved! Very peaceful area, nice neighbors. Very short walk to the ocean which we did a few times easily with a stroller. Our son spent a majority of his time fishing in the pond a street over. The property is right in between the two town grocery stores - Food Lion and Harris Teeter, so very convenient to run out for groceries or food. We really didn't have much of a reason to leave with pool and the hot tub though! Pool and hot tub were serviced mid-week. Felt so comfortable there and a big thank you to the owners for opening up your home for others to stay!

Relaxing Family Vacation

The Lily Pad was the perfect house for our family of three and our dog. It was wonderful having the pool and hot tub available to us and the beach just a short walk away. We definitely had a wonderful time and the location was a great choice for us. The house itself could use a lot of maintenance inside and out. This was the most disappointing part of our stay. We arrived to find a broken door to the back deck, a rotting floor in the living room, above normal wear and tear on kitchen cabinets and blinds in the bedrooms. We had bunkbeds in one room and the fitted sheets provided didn't fit the beds at all and I would recommend bringing your own pillows and blanket for the comforts of home. Outside many of the pieces of plastic outdoor furniture were in poor condition and the outside deck could use a lot of maintenance, you wouldn't want to walk around bare foot. However, we did not allow any of this ruin any of our time at the Lily Pad . It is a beach house after all and you are going to have a few things go wrong with a rental. This is a perfect little hideaway for a family with children and pets. It sleeps 12 , so perfect for lots of guests and very spacious. We would definitely go back with the assurance that the maintenance has been completed on this lovely little home. If you are looking for a quiet little hide away in a safe community, close to the beach, the Lily Pad is the place for you.
