Cabin was great. Private enough. Bed was super comfortable. Place was maybe one of the cleanest I've stayed at. Host was great with communication, and all info needed was provided. The cabin is on a pretty steep hill with just one parking spot. Easy enough to back into. Come prepared with appropriate vehicle and tires if staying in winter.Overall a great property and would recommend.

Long Way Cabin

The cabin was a bit out there with curvy roads, but manage to get to places quickly. The check-in was awesome no hassle, the kitchen was beautiful and had everything we needed. Our favorite place was the jacuzzi, it was very relaxing and cozy while we had jazz playing from our phones. Great place to saty, but not a fan of the road to get there.

We enjoyed the cabin and rest. Tha hot tub was a nice feature. The only thing I would suggest is the rug in the living room has one corner that sticks up and could be a tripping hazard. We continually tried to turn it under.

Perfect for couples. My husband and I stayed 3 nights and didn't want to leave. It was everything we expected. Definitely will be staying at "Take it Easy" again. Our host was amazing as well. Before and during our stay. She would respond quickly if I had any questions. It was just all around a great getaway for us.

Great 2 person cabin

Very nice accommodation. Very clean. The mattress is very soft. Like sleeping on a taco. Don't rent if you have a bad back. I purchased dish soap, dish sponges and hand soap for the cabin because the host does not provide these items.

Honeymoon Stay

We enjoyed our stay very must at Slow Ride! Our only complaint was the jets were dirty in the tub. Other than that, no complaints whatsoever. Very clean, comfy, and conveniently located.

Wonderful cabin for two

Our second stay in the area. Location is great - close enough to town if you want it. Far enough to be out of the crowds. The cabin was well equipped and clean. Loved the porch in the mornings for breakfast. The owner was very communicative. We will be back!

Slow Ride

We had an absolutely amazing experience with the"Slow Ride"cabin. Property was immaculate, had all the furnishing one would want and was private. Location was great for hiking, shopping or sight seeing. Host Julie was amazing and helped keeping everything running smoothly. Would definitely recommend.

Relaxing

This is a very nice cabin. Would have preferred to have fewer neighbors. But that is completely a personal issue. The hot tub needs to be a little more private. But the mornings on the porch having coffee were AWESOME. There aren’t any Mountain View’s but it is still a very nice morning coffee time. And evening as well. Would book again.

Very Nice Cabin

Very nice cabin in Wears Valley. Conveniently located and well appointed. Perfect for our needs as an older couple. My wife really appreciated the hot tub being screened in as she seems to be a bug magnet. Check-in/check-out was easy and communication with our host, Julie, was excellent. Thanks!

Great Cabin

Great cabin and is close to the strip in Pigeon Forge. It needs a few minor fixes to make it top notch. The ROKU tv is very hard to find any thing to watch that is not 20 yrs old, we could not get any local news at all.

Chicagoans in the Smokies

Rental process was very easy, instructions were clear and the home was exactly as advertised. I'm not a big jacuzzi fan, but after 2 days of hiking it was just the thing to end the day. The bed was comfortable, and the home cozy & inviting. It was located in the perfect spot for us: close to hiking (and attractions if that's your thing, not ours!) but away from the bustle. Even though neighbors are close by, we never noticed them. Loved having coffee and breakfast on the deck. Peaceful! Home is on a hilly road, but we had absolutely no issue maneuvering (we're 66). Julie was responsive. I fully recommend.

Didn’t Stay Here

We entered the property after so much anxiety over the very narrow, steep road to the property and the very small parking spot that was on a steep incline. The property is quaint but due to the location through the winding roads up into the mountains with no shoulders and lots of blind curves and barely a place to park our vehicle. We chose not to stay at the property. We would have had to drive up and down those treacherous roads every day and we couldn’t imagine that stress. Heaven forbid there is rain or snow because I’m sure it would be almost impossible to get up the steep road to the property. There is also absolutely no cell service at the property except 911. We did not feel safe there. The owner was not very compassionate to our concerns and said we would have a hard time finding another place to stay that wasn’t in the mountains. I feel that the guest should have more information regarding the property and it’s location in the mountains prior to the end of the refund period to be able to make the best decision about booking a rental. This owner acted like we should have known about the situation before booking even though this was our very first time in East Tennessee. The owner needs to update the listing to include pictures of the road and parking space and a better description of the terrain. I feel that we should have been offered at least a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill.
