Beautiful stone house with large spaces and your dream holiday in Beynac

Stone house, typical Black Perigord, located 10 km from Sarlat, fully renovated, will seduce you with its wide open spaces, swimming pool, its unique location, just 400 meters from the castle of Beynac and its medieval village.

Side activities, 12 minute walk will take you to the edge of the Dordogne and canoeing starts. By car you will find many tourist sites within 10 km, such as the castles of Castelnaud, Fayrac, Lacoste and Milandes (Joséphine Baker castle), but also the gardens of Marqueyssac (made by lenotre) or the fortified village of Domme.

The house will accommodate up to 7 people. You will find 2 large bedrooms, a living room (bed) with LCD screen, a kitchen and a bathroom with shower Italian.

Fabulous Stay

We stayed here for 2 weeks with our dogs and all of us had a fantastic time. The location is great and Patricia was the most wonderful and kind host you could ever ask for, she spoiled us all! We will definitely return!

Amazing stay

Super nice place with probably the biggest garden and lawn you can imagine. Patricia is awesome and super helpful. And allowed us to eat a ton of cherries from her trees :-) Location is perfect for trips (shorter and longer) in Perigord. Definitely planning to be back at this amazing place in the most beautiful region. And a fantastic host.

Peace and quiet in the country

What a wonderful place to stay! Fantastic view over the pool, with sunsets and Hot air balloons galore. Patricia could not have been nicer presenting us with fresh vegetables and fruit from her garden. She lives next door so was always available for help and advice. She was like a dynamo opening the pool and closing it at night , nothing was too much trouble. Chateau Beynac was fantastic and the views over the valley were magnificent. The village is 10 mins downhill on foot and a steeper walk back. A jewel in the Dordogne.

Perfect stay

We loved Patricia's rental. She and her aunt(Patricia was traveling when we arrived so her aunt met us with the key ), were super helpful and accommodating. We were a bit short on towels, but this was quickly rectified. No coffee cups in the house, so we bought a couple at the local market. Minor things in an overall amazing stay. The house is located a five minute walk from the château de Beynac and the town itself is a fifteen to twenty minute walk. The property itself is lovely, with a nice pool and a tranquil surrounding that was great after a busy day of sightseeing. We would definitely rent the property again and we clearly recommend it both for the comfort of the property and the great location.

Stunning place with everything you need

We had such a lovely time in this stunning property. The place was more than big enough for 2 adults and a 10 year old. We spent our mornings exploring the area (10 minute walk into town) and our afternoons in the pool. We always had our evening meal in the outdoor kitchen which is both covered and open with table and chairs in both sections. Patricia is such a lovely and attentive host and provides everything you could possibly need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and it was so sad to leave. The night sky is amazingly clear, we took a telescope with us and after watching the evening sun go down over the hill we enjoyed a glass of wine watching the stars. We saw countless shooting stars and satellites.. if you are thinking of booking, we would thoroughly recommend this property. You won't be disappointed. Thank you again Patricia ❤

Absolutely stunning. A perfect base to enjoy the Dordogne Valley.

Everything about the house, the holiday and the booking experience through VRBO was fantastic. The property is just beautiful and the owner, Patricia, is absolutely lovely. Such a delight to deal with and she did all she could to make our stay as good as it could have been. The house itself was spotlessly clean. The beds very comfortable and it had everything we could have needed for our family. The outside kitchen and gas plancha make dining outside a pleasure. Not to mention the stunningly beautiful (and huge) gardens that surround the house. Lastly the swimming pool is a perfect temperature and it's in the sun pretty much all day. Of an afternoon you get to see a stunning sunset over the hills and watch scores of hot air balloons taking off all around. There is stacks of things to do in the area and I recommend exploring the town of Beynac, just a few minutes walk away. All other highlights in the area are a short distance away. You couldn't be in a better location really. It has to be one of the nicest properties we've stayed at and in such a beautiful part of France, plus the weather was sunny and over 30C every day! All of which made for a truly wonderful holiday.

The perfect calm with easy access to the Dordogne's splendour

Patricia is the most helpful and welcoming host. Her two bed, traditional stone cottage has everything you need for your holiday. The house is one long rectangle, so from the lounge you go into a hall with shower room and toilet off it, then you walk into the second bedroom (from where you can access your little veranda for morning coffee and croissants) and you access the master bedroom through bedroom two. The beds are sooo comfy (the master bedroom has a king, the second bedroom a double and single), the kitchen is really well equipped, the swimming pool is south facing so you can sunbathe all day, there are several outdoor eating areas and a plancha for outdoor cooking on an evening. Sitting out watching the hot air balloons flying overhead in the evening was dreamy. The location is perfect for discovering all that the Dordogne has to offer, with most outings all within a 30-40 minute drive. The only two things that we did that had long drives were the Gouffre the Padirac (1h20) and the Vélorail du Perigord Vert (1h30) which we would recommend. We are so pleased that we got to book this cottage for our summer holiday, it was the perfect place to rest and recharge. Thank you Patricia for everything.

Excellent venue & host

Our experience was second to none. Patricia is the perfect host who couldn’t do enough for us including bringing us fresh tomatoes, apples, figs & walnuts which were all well received. The farmhouse is very comfortable with full cooking facilities available. It is in a fabulous area with the grounds and swimming pool absolutely delightful. I would recommend this to all who enjoy a peaceful and tranquil experience. Thank you Patricia for your kindness and letting us enjoy your home. We will definitely be back. Angela, Jan & family

Séjour mémorable
