It's just minutes to Cobleskill, Schoharie, Summit, Middleburgh, Cooperstown, Oneonta, Schenectady, Albany, and Saratoga too. High View Hideaway is three hours from NYC and easily accessible from the NYS Thruway and I88.

We had a very nice stay at this home. The hosts are very easy to talk to and respond quickly. The house is cozy, super clean, great space and is set in the most gorgeous setting overlooking the mountains. This is our second time staying here and we will definitely be back!!

Amazing place!

We came here for a weekend horse show, and this place was like a home away from home. After being at the show grounds 12 hours, it was like home sweet home.

Great Hideaway with a spectacular view!

The home and property are wonderful and the views are amazing. Great for a family that would like to host picnics, cookouts and marshmallow roasting.

Incredible Stay!

We had a great time! The house is even better than the pictures. So cozy! It has everything you need if you are going to cook meals. I highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful house with great view!

This is our second time staying here. Great view and property! Turkeys, geese and deer were around the whole time we were there. Great location and very clean and well equipped!!

Relaxing getaway

We enjoyed our time at Highview Hideaway. This was my brother and my second time staying here. We loved it so much last time we had to come back with friends and family. So peaceful here and plenty of space for our dogs to run free!

Secluded family friendly hideaway

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was comfortable, clean, and as pictured. The location was close to the venue for the wedding we were attending at Seven Ponds Farm. The view was beautiful and the kids had so much fun exploring the property and fishing at the pond. A very quiet peaceful place to stay for a restful weekend. Thank you!

Beautiful & Comfortable

The house is sparking clean and very inviting, well stocked with necessities. We were comfortable and close enough to stores, eateries etc. View is amazing, and loved watching the squirrels and chipmunks! Would love to stay again!

Super Clean Beautiful Place

Tranquil and relaxing place to stay. Views from the house were amazing. Super clean and very well maintained. The owners, Randy and Lisa were very nice and responsive. We enjoyed our time at this beautiful property. Highly recommend.

Great Getaway

Beautiful and clean house on a quiet hill top. Great place to unwind with family and enjoy the outdoors, miles of views including an amazing sunrise. The house is fully stocked and the owners couldn't have made our trip any better, thank you again and we will definitely try and make a return trip.

Much needed getaway

This was a beautiful home and property. The pictures were great, but everything was much better in person. Quiet and secluded and plenty of space outdoors for activities. Pet friendly- my dogs loved it!!

Fantastic views and fantastic hosts

The pictures don't do this place justice. The views are absolutely incredible, we went in late April and got probably the last snow storm of the year and I couldn't think of a better place to be for it. Randy and Lisa were also great about checking in with us and plowed the driveway.

We, (Randy and Lisa) grew up in Richmondville. We both have been fortunate to have our working careers right here at the local community bank and school. Our two daughters were raised here as well as numerous extended family members. Our family ties run deep in this community and we love living here. We think you will love visiting too!

This property has been in our family for generations. Our parents built this home over 50 years ago as vacation home. It has created many fond memories for many folks. The remodeled environment of the home is warm, clean and inviting. You'll enjoy a good night's sleep on comfortable mattresses too.
