ABOUT COLE BIN:
Cole Bin is a single-story residence that offers a private entrance, convenient street parking, a fenced yard suitable for pets, and a spacious deck for outdoor relaxation. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by a generously sized living room equipped with amenities including a pool table, television, sleeper sofa, and ample seating. Positioned to the right of the living space, the first bedroom features a queen bed and a twin bed, with direct access to a nearby hallway bathroom. Progressing through the living room, one will find a sizable dining area and an adjacent laundry room that flows seamlessly into the well-equipped kitchen and sunlit Florida room. Situated to the left of the dining area, a second bedroom is furnished with two queen beds and a twin bed, sharing a conveniently located hallway bathroom. The Florida room leads to a lavish master bedroom with a king-sized bed and a luxurious en suite bathroom.

Grayton Beach is a charming coastal community located along Scenic Highway 30A in the Florida Panhandle. Known for its stunning white sandy beaches and crystal-clear emerald waters, Grayton Beach offers a serene and picturesque setting for visitors to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the Gulf Coast. The area is home to the Grayton Beach State Park, which boasts hiking trails, coastal dune lakes, and diverse ecosystems that are perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. The town itself features eclectic art galleries, local shops, and delicious dining options, making it a popular destination for those seeking a laid-back beach experience with a touch of Southern charm. Grayton Beach's relaxed atmosphere and pristine surroundings make it a beloved hidden gem along the scenic 30A corridor.

The location of this house is great. It’s not a new or immaculately maintained property but it was clean, had appropriate amenities and had a fenced in yard for our dogs. I recommend this property for families, dog owners and those that want access to 30A with a little more seclusion and access to nature.

Cole bin was great for our family. The location was perfect. Close to beach and restaurants. Kids played pool the entire trip. Check in easy and property management took care of any issues. Will stay again.

Great stay at Cole Bin!

This was our second time to stay here. House has everything you need and you can't beat the location. We brought our dog and when we checked in, the backyard grass really needed to be cut. We asked about it and they had some one out to cut the grass the next morning. Little things can make a big difference in your week of vacation. Can't wait to be back!

Moldy smell

As with our previous stay, we enjoyed the location of the house and the pool table. However, the house has an overwhelming mold smell and the master bedroom bed is old and makes a lot of noise. Also, we would have liked to had a broom so that we could sweep up. We have fun when we stay here, but I think this will be our last time. The previous time we stayed there was a rat, so I think we're done. Honestly, you guys should offer us a huge discount on a future stay at another house for not making a bigger deal out of the rat and mold.

Repeat customer

We have stayed at Cole Bin several times. There has been a deep clean to the property that has made a world of a difference. Also, the new furniture has been a fabulous update. P30a properties is always a pleasure to work with. Cannot wait to come back and stay again.

Terrible Rental

The property was old and outdated and did not match the pictures. There were holes in the living room floor. The bathroom floor was soft and ready to collapse. The windows would not shut and lock. The sliding glass door would not shut all the way and the outside door handle was broken off. The porch light did not work. The grass was overgrown. The front gate boards were falling off. There was mold inside the air vents. There was a wall that was bold with a hole in it from a leak somewhere. There was rat feces everywhere on the floor and in the cabinets with the dishes. The back porch steps were ready to fall. The outdoor shower did not work and was full of mold. The back deck had old wood and moldy. The back deck chairs had holes in them, and we’re not. The wood furniture was old and not treated and had splinters. Three out of the five TVs did not work in the house.

Terrific location in downtown Grayton, short walk to one of the best beaches in America. Old time Grayton casual beach house. Generous supply of paper goods and trash bags provided. Property management was highly responsive.

Cole Bin Review

Loved this cottage! I’ve been coming to Grayton Beach every year since 1970 and this is the first time we’ve stayed here. Good location and we loved the big kitchen with an extra refrigerator! Perfect for beers etc. Nice big bathrooms too! And we really enjoyed the pool table. The tv’s were a little hard to figure out how to work- maybe some instructions would be nice. Kitchen could use more mixing bowls and definitely more silverware. Only issue we had was people parking in our allotted spaces in front of the cottage. I called the property manager and then a wrecker but the wrecker took too long both times. Suggest having cones available for renters to block off the parking spots. We will definitely be renting the Cole Bin again!!

Great location

Perfect location. Cabin is a little dated, but was very nice and clean. Plus, we aren't there to be inside so it was perfect. Definitely coming back!!!

Great Location

This house is an easy walk to the beach and cool restaurants. Fenced yard great for my dog. We have a house in watercolor and this is a very different feel. Old school beach house. Very roomy. Price for location was exactly what we wanted.

Labor Day at Cole Bin

A perfect beach cottage with tons of room and amenities. Beds were comfortable, great kitchen, awesome water pressure. The place stay cooled off in the heat! Within minutes to the beach, two fabulous bar and restaurants! Can't wait to come back

Fantastically close to beach, restaurants, bars and everything Grayton Beach has to offer!

This is an older game that has definitely been loved. If you are looking for high end this is not it. If you are looking for a roomy home with room to spread out, and a pool table, 5 minutes from beach, Red Bar and other eats/drinks, look no further!

Above Average

Some of the residence has a "lip stick on a pig" feeling as if they cut corners when remodeling. The pictures online look great but a closer look shows a few problems. The bathrooms are poorly finished and we had two roaches welcome us upon entry into the shower. I would recommend having the gaps and holes properly filled in for both bathrooms and having pest spray available for guests if needed. I understand pests happen but the holes in the shower to celing could be fixed. Keeping a fan on property would also be a welcomed change as a few of our party were very hot at night even with the cooler weather outside. All in all the house was lovely and the location is wonderful.

Great Lication

There is a lot good about this house. The location is really great. Right near the beach as well as restaurants. The size if the house was great with three bedrooms and plenty of very comfortable beds. My sons and their friends used the pool table continuously. They all said. It it made the house great. The house does need to be upgraded. The oven door fell apart during our stay. The management company was very good about handling it. I would stay here again.

Disappointed

The location was perfect! The house was dirty and smelled like mold & mildew. The curtains and couches were stained, and the house needed some attention. By day three, we were all sick from the mold and mildew. Some of the cups were warped and one was cracked. There was only one pool stick with a tip. We always stay at Grayton Beach because we love the atmosphere and people, and we were extremely disappointed in the upkeep and cleanliness of Cole Bin especially for the price we paid to rent it for the week.

Good location, bad property

Floors are very uneven Front entrance is a fall hazard with cement blocks and large gaps plus the two shallow front steps leading into the house are rotten and falling apart Dumpster parking Master Bedroom AC not working Master bedroom ceiling fan not working Master bedroom bathroom floor has water coming through plus master bath shower almost didn’t drain, had to be sewer snaked Back deck is rotted and falling apart, both sets of steps leading down are rotten Backyard not cut or bushes trimmed Buggies and chairs to use at beach are broken and rusty Three doors in the house took a hard shoulder shove to close they were so crooked and swelled Permanent damp/musty smell in the house, semi-moldy smell stagnant Family room air cond vents are closed ten feet in the air, no way to open them even IF the air cond unit was working One of the two refrigerators has broken shelves in it while the other had shelves that were the wrong size and door wouldn’t close all the way Over half the windows did not have blinds only cheap Venetian blinds so sunrise was very bright BBQ grill is rusting apart, pieces falling off, couldn’t use it at all Every piece of furniture had something broken or breaking on it and all the slipcovers were stained and many years past their prime Master bedroom sheets had red stains on them that were permanent looked like kool aid stains

LOCATION!!

This place was the BEST location. We came with toddlers and dogs. It was a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Other reviews are pretty accurate on the house, but it was perfect for our family.

Location, Location, Location!!!

Always have a special place in my heart for Grayton Beach, and the location of this property was spot on. Easy walk to the beach and Hotz Ave! The fenced yard was a plus for the pups that wanted to chill in the sun!

Excellent stay. Went to Coke Bin with my wife, 8 month old son, and in-laws. House is older but we’ll kept up overall. Location in Grayton is phenomenal. Only opportunity is that the bathrooms need a little updating. Back tub would not drain.

Perfect for what we needed

Overall stay was great. Check in and check out was easy. The past reviews are pretty accurate. The place is a bit run down but perfect for what we needed. Walking distance to the beach and the local shops and bar. Would def recommend - great little home for chill beach vacation. Floors are wonky, unlevel and did dip in a few places but for the price we got, I wasn’t bothered by it. The outdoor shower was great, except you did have to go through the house to use it. Kitchen had everything we needed, enough towels for everyone and the washer / dryer is def a nice perk. We had 5 adults and 5 toddlers (3 and under) and it went really smooth!
