It has been a return rental home for many families throughout the years and Grayton Getaway is one of THE MOST amazing sought after rental homes in Grayton Beach! Heated Pool with a huge screened in lounge room next to the pool to enjoy a great evening in the pool after being beach front during the day. Don't forget to visit the dune lakes while you are here (also a short walk or bike ride away from the cottage). Great location - easy walk to the beach & on the quieter end of Grayton Beach, which we loved. Heated pool was perfect for our two small kids when they needed a break from the sand. Great size pool for a vacation house located so close to the beach. House is lovely and clean with a well stocked kitchen. Beds were all comfortable. Host was incredibly responsive and helpful. Thankful to find this little house nestled among the huge new builds in Grayton!

Great location! Quiet beach access around the corner! Close to the legendary Red Bar! Comfy beds! Beach wagon/chairs were a plus! Great to cool off in the pool - could use some more/updated seating options at pool. Overall a great stay and great communication!

This is a great location and house for our small extended family. The host was very communicative and responsive. Check in/checkout was very easy and would highly recommend this home to others.

Great location and stay.

As we continue to see larger and larger homes in Grayton, this 3B home was a great find. Convenient access to the beach and with the added benefit of a small pool which was perfect for our two kids when they still wanted to be in the water. Owner was very responsive when we had questions. Would stay again.

Great location with easy beach access. Perfect for a smaller group and the pool was a bonus we didn’t know we needed until there were a couple of double red flag days.

Perfect little beach house

Our family enjoyed a week stay at this Grayton bungalow! It was just the right size for us and we loved the pool and porches! Easy walk to the beach and Red Bar area. Sad to leave today but hope to come back sometime soon! Highly recommend if you’re looking for the perfect location, and a true, old school beach house with everything you need

Sweet home

We had a great stay, this house fit our needs perfectly. We have been coming to Grayton for many years, love the area and pray it does not change. It is a nice escape from the rest of 30a. When we were not on the beach we spent our time in the main living area which is laid out well for hanging out, playing games and doing puzzles. I could be cooking and still be with my family. We also enjoyed the screened porch that over looks the pool. Easy walk or bike ride to the Red Bar and that area. Two easy routes to the beach. It's a sweet, charming home, there are not many left as the large homes are being built all around. I hope Grayton can maintain it's vibe that makes it special.

A dream that could have been dreamier

A short getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There was a slight disappointment from the mismatch on the picturesque Google representation of the house and the actual reality upon entering. For starters, the floor in the main room was caving, which I would not have paid much attention to, until it was brought upon by my mother-in-law, who likes to be objectively subjective. In this instance, more objective. The property itself is essentially a camp sandwiched between two other properties which are more representative of the beauty of that area. This is not to discount the actual house, I'm sure it has its charms, however, it seems that in an effort to modernize whatever the original structure was, some details were overlooked. It should also be noted that the pool was green and had spots on the ground. Again, I'm easily fooled and can effortlessly overlook such details because I'm there for the beach and not the pool. However, when a 2-year-old blurts out that she would rather swim in the crystal blue pool next door than our green pool, how much more objective than that can you get? I think the biggest positivity was the actual price, which is what should have tipped us off that there might be some mismatch, however, the neighboring properties were not that overtly more expensive. Would I stay here again? Absolutely, without my 2-year-old and my mother-in-law. The property itself is very close to the beach, which is what the whole point was.

A Great Location to the Beach

We had a great, first time in Grayton Beach! It’s our favorite beach location on 30a so far! There were two great beach accesses near this house! Having the pool was a plus and appreciated the items for the pool! It would be a nice addition to add some shade, like umbrellas and the furniture needs some cleaning. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the closeness to wonderful restaurants! We had to reach out to the host upon arrival and they were quick to respond and sent the items we needed. The house needs some repair, but this did not dampen our stay. We would definitely stay at this house again.

Great House and Location

This was our first stay at Grayton and we really enjoyed it. The house was as described and very clean! The pool was awesome to have and it had a large area with plenty of room for everyone to lay out. We loved the location- the beach had 2 very close entries we had access to and there were plenty of restaurants close by. They house was stocked with plenty of items for us to use for the week and even extras! We were thankful for the beach toys and carts that were there! The owner was very responsive to a question I had about our stay and very helpful. Definitely somewhere we will be back! The only issues we saw was there was a pretty good sized hump in the floor in the kitchen that was a trip hazard and the pool deck had quite a few nails/screws sticking up. Just normal wear and tear of a beach house I’m sure- but with small kids it was something we had to watch.

We love Grayton and this house is close to restaurants and the beach. The pool is so nice to have as well! Beds are comfy and was perfect place for our family trip.

We would absolutely come back. Location is super easy to walk to the beach, local restaurants are just a few blocks away. The host was very responsive and kind to us! We had a great time.

Perfect beach vacation!

This was our first time visiting Grayton beach and it definitely won’t be our last! We had such a wonderful time and wish we were still there. The house was in a great, quiet location with just a short walk to the beach. We also enjoyed sitting on the back porch and cooling off in the pool. The property owners were very easy to communicate with and responded to questions leading up to the trip. All in all, it was a perfect vacation spot. We will be back!

Great Vacation!!

This was a much needed relaxing vacation. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Really enjoyed the heated pool. Beach wasn’t overly crowded and the ocean was beautiful. Would definitely stay here again.
