Forget the hectic pace of work, carpooling, and deadlines. Rest and reconnect with family and friends. Enjoy deep breaths, long naps, and unscheduled play. Relax on the porch swing or adirondacks on the screened or open deck. In the fall and winter, enjoy curling up by the stone fireplace. The property boasts a private deep water dock for easy access to your boat tie up on the side, or a jumping off place for swimming or floating. Explore the coves and creeks in our canoe, or on the stand up paddle boards located on the dock for your use and pleasure. Nearby outdoor areas not to be missed are Oconee State Park, White Water Falls, Stumphouse Tunnel, and numerous hiking locations. Bring your fishing gear and enjoy catching Largemouth or Spotted Bass; among other varieties. Clemson University, 25 minutes away and Seneca, a 10 minute drive, offer dining, shopping, and antiques. Loved morning on the screened porch with a cup of coffee! We were there to go to Clemson basketball and football games and both were night games and we missed out on enjoying the fire pit. But we had a couple of peaceful days reading on the dock and my husband swam around some! It was an easy drive to Seneca and Clemson both. The cabin is so lovely!! Clean and well stocked, we made breakfasts and lunch but ate dinners out. We will definitely hope it is available next year when we come again!!
Feeling blessed to be relaxing on the deck in the quiet morning!

Great family getaway

Great place to get away and just relax. From the little touches that the cabin was decorated in to fishing off the dock, roasting marshmallows at the fire pit and grilling off the back deck, it was a fun close to home getaway.

Great weekend at the lake

Booked out lake rental with Mark a few months ago. Great communication. Arrived at the cabin, quaint retreat for the family everything well stocked and even had dock access for a boat rental. Thank you Mark for a great retreat with family that we hadn’t seen in a while.

Amazing house and wonderful vacation!

Mark, the property manager was such a pleasure to work with. The lake house was absolutely beautiful. Super clean, comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. Beautiful, quiet location on Lake Keowee. We cannot wait to go back!

Great long weekend

Our family and a few friends had a great long weekend. The home is fully stocked in the kitchen, beds are comfortable, back porch is very relaxing, smores at the fire pit one night, fishing off the dock, floating and relaxing in the water. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning.

Highly recommend!

The canoe and paddle boards were fun to use. Property and the lake were private and quiet. It looked like the stone pathway and the surrounding mulch from the house to the lake were recently added; very nice. We definitely recommend this property!

We enjoyed our week in the cabin. Plenty to do on the water. I recommend renting a boat, worth it on so many levels. Mark is a great host and gives you everything you need to have a relaxing stay!

Wonderful vacation!

We had a wonderful stay. Nancy and Mark had thought of all needs for guests and very responsive to questions or issues. We are boaters and skiers and the dock was great. We also enjoyed the paddle boards and canoe. Fun was had by all. We would definitely come again!

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay here! The cabin had everything we needed for a long weekend stay with our family. The location on the lake was amazing and we really enjoyed using the paddle boards and canoe. Great Stay

Great stay, property met expectations. Kitchen is very well stocked. We cooked multiple meals and everything we needed was there. (not having a garbage disposal in the sink was a bit of extra work) View from fire pit is fantastic. Easy to get to grocery store. Hikes in both SC and NC are within easy distance.

Hi Matthew- Thank you for your comments. We do not have a disposal because we’re on a septic system and it’s most likely to back up when people use a disposal, grinding up hard-shelled items, etc that do not break down as easily. We decided not to add it, even though we wired to add one after purchasing the cabin, for reliability of the system for all guests. Thanks!

Cool cabin but not for the elderly

Beautiful location. Cool quirky log cabin especially upstairs with the varied ceilings and materials. We had 3 elderly grandparents and they could not enjoy going down to the lake due to the steep slope. It was hard to tell from the pictures of the back yard how steep the slope was. But overall a cool cabin.
