The Bimini Blue Tulip Cottage is located adjacent the ocean with a lovely white sand beach in Alice Town, North Bimini. The sunsets you see here are amazing as well as the sound of the ocean waves gently rolling in all night. Typically there are Biminites at this popular spot as CJ's Deli (see many pictures of neighborhood on line) , is just steps away. There is usually music playing and frequently a party on the beach which typically subsides after sunset.

It was nice, being on the cottage vs the resort definitely let you appreciate the island more authentically. The guy that helped me out to the cottage was nice and even let me go in earlier than i expected. Its definitely on the way end of the island so you need a golf cart. Its next to a bar so you can hear the music and vibes going at night, but it didnt bother me one bit. You can also hear the waves at night. On the other hand the water pressure of showers were not that strong and the cleanliness of the towels was questionable so maybe bring your own. Overall i had a great time and enjoyed being able to experience a house in original setting vs an americanized resort. Everyone in bimini is extremely nice.

This is a great location if you want to dive at Neal Watson's and are looking for affordability. It is a short walk away. The house is nothing fancy and needs some updates, but it was acceptable for us. It is right next door to a bar/cafe, and they are kinda loud, but it usually dies down about 10pm. Radio beach is right across the street. The on-island host, Barry, is nice and helpful, and everyone on the island is very welcoming. If we needed anything, Barry was a call away. He even picked us up from the ferry in a golf cart. It was a little crampt with our luggage, but it was an adventure! He gave us a quick tour of the island, and you can rent a golf cart from him at the best price on the island. The owner, Richard, was also very helpful, and even accomodated a schedule change when weather derailed our initial travel plans. We were a group of 4 women and never felt unsafe in the area. We felt well taken care of with Barry. If you are easily annoyed by noise, or expect a pristine resort experience, this is not the place for you. If you want an affordable, authentic Bimini experience, and a little adventure, this is the place to stay!

It was our pleasure to host Beth and her friends. She has done a great job describing our little place on the beach. Bimini is a wonderful place a you will feel like you belong when the locals tell you "Welcome home". We hope Beth comes back again!

Lovely place

Great place, spacious and close to the beach and restaurants. Just a short walk to the straw market and grocery store. Short walk to the Dolphin House. Great host, checked on me every day.

Cute little cottage

We enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the cottage after dark so there wasn’t really anything to do other than watch tv. The music across the road shut down at 8:30 so that didn’t bother us. The beach was right across the road which was an amazing beach.

AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Staying at this cottage next to Radio Beach in Bimini was pure paradise. The location is unbeatable—just steps from soft white sand and the clearest turquoise water imaginable. The cottage itself was clean, cozy, and full of island charm, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We spent our days swimming, lounging, and enjoying the stunning sunsets, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering great local tips. It felt like our own private slice of the Bahamas, and we can’t wait to come back soon thank you rick and barry !!

BEST Location

The location of this rental is ideal. Close to everything. Barry is fantastic to work with on the island; great tour guide and made sure I had everything I needed. I liked the bar and restaurant across the street but be forewarned, there’s music every day and night.

Rustic Fun

Great for real travelers. It’s got a local flavor on a bustling corner. Beach is steps away. Locals play loud music from sunrise to sunset, but because we knew that going in, it was ok. Rustic island life - we lost running water a few times, but that was island-wide, not the host’s fault.

The outside light shines right in the bedroom window. The curtains are sheer so you cannot use those to try to block it. The mattress on both beds are horrible. Like laying down on plywood. Music, traffic and people yelling in the street until after 3am every day. Water in showers doesn't completely shut off. Beyond the easy access to food and the beach, it was a huge disappointment.

Awesome little cottage

This is the perfect place to stay a d experience the real Bimini. Across the street from Radio Beach and you get to live, eat and drink with locals. Barry the property manager / host was very gracious and took excellent care of us during our stay. There was a slight hiccup with the check in due to an issue beyond our control but Barry quickly took care of that. Don't expect pristine surroundings or at the beach but remember you are visiting an island and living in a local residential area not a resort. That's what traveling is all about. Highly recommend and definitely stay at this property again.

Best vacation property on bimini

We are a family from uk.we stay in the blue tulip cottage for 3nights,It was in a perfect beach side location.Just feet from the beach.located in the best part of the island.the locals are so friendly and accommodating.And Barry the property caretaker is a credit to have on call.Nothing is to much for him. He his on hand 24/7.We booked a boat trip and fishing with him.He is without doubt the best tour and fishing guide on Bimini.He knows is stuff,And excellent value compared to other tour guides,his golf carts are highly recommended.Best price on island.We will be back to this paradise in future

This was our first visit to Bimini & we could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay. The owner gave us a bunch of ideas for places to eat, see, etc. & I cannot say enough about our host, Bimini Barry, as I like to call him. He picked us & our bags up at the ferry, saw us off our last day there & saw to it that we got the most out of our stay in Bimini. He was so helpful. The beach is right across the street. If you are looking for a five star hotel, this is not the place for you. If you want to enjoy the island life in a comfortable cottage, this is perfect. It is loud at times, but the noise never ran past 9:30 p.m.

Great place steps away from the sand

This house was great! Not even 1 minute from the sand. The kids loved being so close to the beach, which was very convenient for us too, whenever they needed a bathroom break lol. The host Barry was always available and very helpful, there was a minor issue with the house and he was prompt to resolve. The only issue we had was the very loud and inappropriate music the locals were playing outside late night and somedays through the night as house is across the street from a local bar and hangout spot. Other than that everything was great!!! We were able to walk to the marina, stores etc. Very good location and allowed us to have the island feel other than stay in a resort. We probably would stay there again if we have the opportunity to visit the island.

As advertised

House was fine overall. Water pressure which is not a owner issue but a issue from the area was not expected. The noise level in the room is horrible. If the windows could be updated on the place it would make all the difference there. You can hear steps of anyone walking by and the area is busy. Our stay was during the celebration of the Bahama's independence so it was much louder later than normal.

The house was perfect for our two day stay in Alice town

Traveling from Illinois, the owner of the property was prompt and very clear with assistance. The house is perfectly located a short walk to the ocean front. Clean house, clean comfy blankets and towels. All of the amenities. We were greeted by Barry, whom owns a golf cart company and also maintains the property. He gave us a grand tour of the island ! Answered every call and text promptly and was available to help where ever needed. Cj deli right across the street for island dishes or american food. She offers breakfast lunch and dinner. Definitely need a golf cart so you can drive around the island and see all of its beauty. People and places both. In a short few days we fell in love with this town! We will be back!

Radio Beach Stay

This was the perfect location for us, we took this trip as First time on Bimini for me and my hubby! The House was a bit dated, low water pressure, and when showering the water stood in the tub and took forever to drain. The bed was comfortable, but pillows were by not. there were only sheets for the bed. Had 4 oversized towel for 2 people for 5 nights. The house was clean ! We did very much enjoy our stay!!!

Great location, clean, awesome host Barry!

This is place very cute and great location. Air works good, had everything we needed. My recommendations to make it even better. More bath towels and bigger bath towels Same on the beach towels, need to be larger and more of them. Beach chairs would also be a plus. We were told there were some but there wasn’t & when we asked again were told to drag a patio chair which wouldn’t have been easy to carry nor comfortable in the sand. Being so close to the beach, providing as much beach stuff as possible would be a huge perk. Loved our stay, will be back.

Rick Cordary and Dr. Danuta Szczesna-Cordary purchased this home in 2018 from a famous individual (he has his own Wikipedia page!) They met him on the beach after he swam laps in the ocean at 87 years of age.

Rick is owner of one of the largest awards and recognition companies in the US, located 50 miles away in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Dr. Danuta is a PhD professor at University of Miami. They both love Bimini and its people and hope to share all of these good feeling with their guests.

During the purchase process they met Mr. Barry Dames who is a well known and well liked Bimini resident for many years. "Bimini Barry" has been a fishing guide, managed clubs and done many other things in his career of 40 years. Barry lives nearby and is available to help you with most anything including tours of the island, introductions, restaurant recommendations and arranging for golf cart rental as well as boating and fishing trips. Of course if there is anything needed during your stay Bimini Barry will be at your service!
