This one-of-a-kind estate offers a luxurious 8-bedroom, 5 1/2-bath home, large patio and pool, and 19 rural acres with quintessential midwestern views. Perfect for gathering and entertaining larger groups of people.

70 minutes from O'hare International Airport, 25 minutes to Rockford, 17 minutes to DeKalb/NIU, and 15 minutes to the Chicagoland Skydiving Center in Rochelle.

H O U S E - S E T U P

Upstairs Wing
Two bedrooms and one bathroom. One bedroom has two full-size beds, and the second bedroom has a queen bed and baby crib.

Basement Level
One bedroom and one attached bathroom with a queen bed. Futon mattress and large couch available for additional guests.

Main Level, East Wing
Three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first two bedrooms are connected and share an attached bathroom. Bedroom one has a queen sleeper couch. Bedroom two has a queen bed. The third bedroom has a queen bed, and there is an unattached bathroom.

Master Wing
Two bedrooms and one bathroom. The first bedroom has a full-size bed and a full pull out couch. The second (master) bedroom has a king bed.

There is also a large living room, office/library, basement and kitchen/dining area.

H O U S E - R U L E S

By requesting or reserving this property, you agree to the following terms:

1. Pets are NOT permitted under any conditions. No drugs or parties.
2. Renters will not violate any city ordinance or state law in or about the premises.
3. The maximum number of guests is limited to the number reserved for. This includes any day-use friends or family who might be staying somewhere else at night.
4. This property requires a minimum stay of two (2) nights.
6. Fires are only permitted in the downstairs fireplace and in the outside fire pit when weather permits.
7. There is no lifeguard on duty, and guests who use the swimming pool do so at their own risk. These risks include: risk of property damage, bodily injury, including, but not limited to permanent disability, paralysis, and possibly death. Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult.

Family vacation

The house and property are beautiful. It was wonderful to feel free from from noise, and hustle bustle of the city. The sun rise and sun set were wonderful. Our 18 to 28 year old grandchildren had a ball. Yes we would do it again

Beautiful Country Escape

Love this property! Beautifully maintained for the perfect family gathering. This was our 3rd year coming and find the home is fully equipped, clean and spacious. We enjoy the quietness of the area. We love walking the property, swimming in the pool and playing family games together. We will definitely be going back for a 4th year!

Just keeps getting better

This is our third year staying here for our yearly big group trip. We genuinely don't want to stay anywhere else. It gives you all the privacy and space you need, while never being short of things to do. They also continue to add more and more, which is really nice! If you're looking for a spot for a peaceful and relaxing trip with a bigger group, this is the one!

Awesome place

Weekend with my company workers. This home is everything described and more. Itā€™s perfect for all ages. your stay comfortable, down to the little details. Everyone enjoyed the pool. The guys relaxed out by the awesome fire pit. If you are looking for a space for family and friends to gather and enjoy rest and have some fun this is the spot for you

Fabulous Friend Getaway

Our friends travel together every year for Labor Day and this was the perfect house for us! We loved the space, so many rooms for everyone and due to the layout of the house we didnā€™t need to worry about waking others up while we cooked breakfast. Lovely pool, though the weather was a bit chilly-that didnā€™t stop us! We canā€™t wait to come back.

Enjoyed our time in Rochelle

We really enjoyed our stay on the farm in Rochelle. The house is very clean. The pool was a big hit, although the weather limited our use. Everyone enjoyed not only the spacious rooms but also the pool table, dart board, air hockey and in the barn the basketball court and ping pong. The kids peddle car was a big hit with the little ones. One issue we had was the refrigerator started acting up one afternoon and Jordan had an additional one for us by 8 am the next day. Thanks for that. We would certainly rent the home again.

Great House & Location for Large Groups

Truly an amazing house and property, in a nice and secluded location. Pool, yard space, games in the house, and the barn with basketball court were major hits. Only piece of feedback would be that in the humid months, run some sort of de-humidifier in the barn. The court was so slippery during the day because of the humidity + add in sweat/heat from playing. Still an amazing court and time regardless. Thanks for everything. Will definitely be coming back here another time.

Fabulous Property

This place is a gem! Our family of 18 stayed here and there was room for everyone. There was even a crib for the baby! House is massive so there is something for everyone. There is a basketball court in the barn along with ping pong, giant jenga, ping pong, air hockey, pool and so much more. The swimming pool was great! We brought a canopy because we had a few older family members that need to stay out of the sun. This allowed them to be down by the pool and remain the shade. The caretakers ensured the home was immaculate and even mowed some trails so those that liked to go for morning walks could enjoy their morning coffee. We've been to a few vrbo listings and this one was by far the best!

Country Paradise

This home is beautiful and well equipped with everything we needed for the week. We loved the pool and barn. The home has a pool table, air hockey, ping pong table along with a gorgeous built -in pool. It is very secluded, clean and very comfortable. This was our second visit and we are already looking forward to coming back next year!

Second stay was even better than the first!

This was the second year running that we booked this property for our group's annual trip, and I think everyone agreed that we had even more fun than we did the first time. The house has more than enough room for everyone in your group, and it is the perfect level of private to feel like you're really getting away. With the pool, the large yard, and even the basketball court in the barn, there is more than enough room for any large group activities you could think of. In addition, the hosts are extremely helpful and very timely on any questions you may have. We'll definitely be back again!

Perfect location for big group!

We are pretty big group,13 adults, 5 kids usually it is hard to find a property that can comfortably fit us all ,avoiding room sharing. This property has 8 bedrooms and is so private, exactly what we were looking for. The outdoor area is absolutely beautiful,huge yard,pool,swings, not forget to mention basketball court in the barn. Outstanding property, for reasonable price, we'll be back next year!!!!!!

Great place to stay!

This house is perfect for a large group! Plenty of room. The kitchen was the hub and we could spread out as needed. Loved the huge frig and freezer in the kitchen, so helpful with a large group. The house is so big, so for the people who wanted to go to bed early, you canā€™t hear anyone in the other parts of the house. I canā€™t think of one thing that wasnā€™t great and have no suggestions on improvements. We really enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful charming property

The home is spacious and provided us with lots of indoor and outdoor fun. The pool was wonderful, the yard spacious and gave us ample area for family games of whiffle ball, bocce ball, and tag. The fire pit was great. The bedrooms provided plenty of area for us to spread out and the kitchen was arranged to allow lots cooks and conversation. We enjoyed the privacy of the property. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic weekend gaming and swimming with friends!

This house is aaaawesooome! Our whole group was blown away by the size and the amount of separate rooms in this place. Everyone in our group (seven households) got their own bedroom, and there are multiple rooms in which to separately play board games, video games, pool, ping pong, air hockey, basketball, or other outdoor activities. Some of us stayed in the swimming pool almost the entire time. Pool is not heated (I don't think), but it was hot outside so the water was very comfortable. The grounds are giant and noise is not an issue since there are no neighbors! The kitchen has one big freezer and one big fridge, and there is a mini-fridge in the basement as well. Only recommendations from our group before you come would be 1) bring your own water bottles/jugs since the tap water is a little sulfur-y, and 2) bring an eye mask because several of the bedrooms don't have curtains at all, and the bright morning sun made it hard to sleep in. We're already talking about planning next year's getaway to this same house! Thanks to the owners for an awesome end-of-summer weekend.

Ogle County Stay

We had a wonderful visit. There was plenty of space for our group and lots of places to gather with family. We really enjoyed the pool, the enclosed porch, and the views. Be wary of the step by the kitchen door onto the patio; it is not really noticeable and a few of us got tripped up there. Otherwise a fantastic stay. The owners are considerate and responded quickly to any questions or concerns.

Beautiful home in the country

We found the home to be large, spacious and beautiful! We loved the country setting away from all the noise. It was very clean and has many amenities. The many bedrooms and bathrooms accommodated our very large family, ages 63 to 2 months of age. The kitchen was perfect for cooking. Our family enjoyed the swimming pool, ping pong, air hockey and pool table too. The kids loved the basketball court. We took many walks to the mailbox each day. The host was gracious and communicative. Our family enjoyed our stay and will be back next year!

Fun Family Getaway

We had a lovely time here! There was plenty of space for the kids to play, and the pool was the big attraction. Eight adults and 4 kids fit around the dining table perfectly, and it never felt like there were too many cooks in the kitchen - ample space. We utilized the fire pit and roasted marshmallows with the kids. Everything was picturesque and as the title states, peaceful. The owners were communicative and kind, as well as the property managers, once we arrived for any questions we had. We're keeping a bookmark on this place to potentially come back to. It was a great escape from the city and suburbs, and the perfect travel time especially considering young ones. Highly recommend!

Beyond Our Expectations!!!

This property is gorgeous! Very private. Beautiful scenary and lots of green space to play our competitive yard games - bags, volleyball, etc. etc. The house is spectacular! Lots of room and places to go. The weather cooperated enough where we were able to swim multiple times in the pool, which was a perfect size and super clean. The enormous shed was incredible to hang in when it rained. We r a basketball family so we had a blast shooting hoops. We used every inch of the house and property overall!! Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and plenty of bathrooms. The basement provided entertainment for all with comfortable seating, pool table, and air hockey. We also enjoyed the firepit! Something for everyone. Such a great memory for our annual family reunion. <3
