SPRING BREAK 2022

THE PROPERTY WAS EVERYTHING THAT WAS ADVERTISED MY FAMILY HAD ENOUGH ROOM FOR ALL OF US TO HAVE OUR OWN SPACE. BEACH ACCESS WAS WONDERFUL FOR THE KIDS. OVERALL I GIVE THIS PROPERTY A HUGE "10".

Thanks for leaving feedback. The only appliance that didn't work was 1 of the 2 dishwashers, right? The dishwasher couldn't be repaired so the owners purchased a new one. It had been on backorder and FINALLY came in last week. This is the first time anyone mentioned someone being able to see inside a bathroom, and the owner said they will look into frosting the glass. We hate the fridge smelled like fish! We assume the previous guest kept fish bait in 1 of the 2 refrigerators? The owner said they will also look into getting an "odor eater" in case a guest encounters that issue again.

The bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful and the big kitchen and double fridge were super helpful when it came to meal time. The only downside was that there were no blinds in the rooms with windows facing the ocean so when the sun came up, so did you! It was a wonderful view but it would have been nice to be able to sleep in past sunrise a few mornings.

We have rented beachfront pool homes in Fort Morgan for 20+ years and felt this property was not as nice and maintained as others. I have multiple rentals myself and I’m speaking from experience when I say it’s too nice to be a rental property. This house was by far the nicest house that we have stayed in on the gulf. This was our groups 9th year ina row and everyone agreed this was the best house so far. Everyone said their beds were comfortable and we had PLENTY of room for everyone! VERY nice place and we will definitely return!!

Family beach vacation

The elevator and Ada bathroom was a must as one member of the family can’t climb stairs or stand unassisted in the shower for long. The proximity to the beach was good for the children as well. My only suggestions would be an ice maker of some sort in the kitchen and maybe a small refrigerator for the master suite so you don’t have to go downstairs for a drink. That being said, I would highly recommend the property and the management was extremely prompt to answer any questions we had. Thanks again for a wonderful family vacation.

Perfect Get Away

This is one of the last houses on the peninsula. What a wonderfully peaceful location which we all loved. The house is beautiful, well stocked, and furnished to support family time. Questions were answered quickly. Having rented many houses through the years communications with property managers before and during our stay was the most impressive I have experienced. Highly recommend this property.

Lovely roomy beach front home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pool is such a plus for a dip after a hot day on the beach. Elevator makes for an easy move in. House was so clean. House is as lovely as the pictures show. Only major problem was the missing shades in the down stairs bedroom in the front of the house. One dishwasher was broken but there was another. Kitchen was well equipped. Used the grill to cook burgers outside.

Hi, thank you for leaving us the review. Thankfully, we have two washing machines and dryers, two refrigerators and two dishwashers. All of the appliances are two years old at this point, but unfortunately even new appliances have problems on occasion. We called the appliance repairman for the dish washer; however, we are tied to their schedule and hindered by their backlog. It was repaired and is working in tip top shape at this time! The blinds have also been on back order, and as soon as they come in they will be hung!

The kitchen was large and well equipped to feed a crowd. The elevator was a plus for the senior citizens. The beach was clean and not overly crowded. The dolphins put on quite a show while we were there! The management company was fantastic. They were quick to respond about a couple of minor issues & the maintenance team were friendly and efficient. We would definitely recommend this property and look forward to staying there again.

Beautiful property…perfect location

Beautiful property, perfect location! Dolphins swam by every day, some days as many as 15-20 came by. Being near the wildlife refuge made for some fun beach walks. The home is as described, but I was a bit surprised at the size of the pool. I knew it was smallish,but don’t bother bringing floats…no room for that. It was perfect, however, for sitting on the bench in the pool and watching the surf while enjoying a cool drink. Beds were comfortable according to everyone who was there. The two dishwashers made for an easy clean up after meals. We did have a few issues on arrival. I guess previous guests didn’t report, or maybe they are who caused the issues, but when reported to Sunset Properties, they had a maintenance man out the same day. They are an easy company to work with, and I would recommend looking for one of their properties for your vacation. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Location and Space

The beach had limited foot traffic and was just perfect for us to spend the entire day but with the freedom to go into the house easily if needed!The one downside: the third floor bedroom across from the master (the violet room) did not have a functioning bathroom - the door was locked, and when we opened it the shower was under repair. This is not a surprise you want to have when you arrive on vacation, and I wish it had been communicated to us prior to our arrival. Also, the outside patio leading to the beach was a bit in disarray. There was construction material and debris on the ground, and it didn't reflect the true beauty of the home.

Thank you for the review of your stay in this fabulous home! I apologize if you were not contacted before your arrival about the bathroom. Our construction crews have been working non-stop down here to try to complete the repairs from the damage hurricane Sally left behind. We have all worked diligently to get repairs completed so that we could welcome people back to our beautiful beaches. There are a few properties that have a few minor repairs that need to be completed, but due to the fact that our inventory is still low right now, we have made the decision to open up some of them if the issues were not detrimental to our guests. With the year that we just had, we are ready to welcome people back! Maybe all repairs will be completed for your next stay!

This was a great house for several families. Location was amazing. I would have liked to know that the rooms facing the ocean have no curtains. You will wake up with the sun. And the grill was rusted and molding. There was an “Egg” as well so we used that. But otherwise stay was great

Dream vacation at the DREAM

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The DREAM House was a dream. Fabulous views of the beautiful beach from the three decks. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The master suite on the upper floor was huge with a fantastic double shower.

Disapointing stay at Dream House

My group of friends and spouse all in our seventies had planned a very rare reunion of us all. We had grown up in the same neighborhood, and this would be the first time we had spent more than a couple of hours together since our teen years. On October 4,2019 rented the Dream House for Apri 24, 2020 through April 28,2020. Unfortunately Covid 19 had struck and we were forced to reschedule for October 23, 2020 through October 27, 2020. Again unfortunately, Hurricane Sandy then came and caused us to reschedule again for October 1, 2021 through October 5, 2021. We finally were able to all meet at our rental on 10/01/2021 except for losing four of our members due to illness. Upon arrival checking in was easy and all went well. The house was beautiful and the view was excellent. After getting settled we began to notice discrepancies in the care and cleaning of the house. Light fixtures were extremely dirty and fogged. Cookware (pots and pans) were caked with burned on grease residue and food and were unusable until scrubbed. The barbeque pit, again, was unusable until degreased and scrubbed inside and out before use. The forth floor observation deck had a light fixture which was inoperable and hanging loose with exposed wires. The dinning table set which was beautiful had several of the chairs that the legs were so loose on them that you were afraid to sit in them for fear they would collapse. The third floor beach side east bath shower had mold growing on the ceiling. Many things were broken or inoperable, such as the kitchen cabinet pulls broken, loose or missing. Of the two dishwashers only one was operable, the second one would have yo be restarted to finish a cycle. Dish washer trim molding falling off. Last but not least we has to spray all of the sleeping rooms for an infestation of roaches and palmetto bugs. We also were unaware of having to supply all toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies such as, dish washing detergent, and trash bags. Given all of the issues, we had waited for this time together for almost two years and did not want to dwell on the discrepancies and spoil our time together. We just tried to overlook all of this and deal with it. Again the house is beautiful!!! It just needs to have much needed repairs, upgrades and deep cleaning and insect extermination.
