Welcome to Kiawah Cottage located at 468 Fiddlers Reach, Kiawah Island, SC. The cottage is located in a very quiet, wooded neighborhood called Oceanwoods on Kiawah’s West Beach. Our West Beach location is 45 minutes from Charleston’s historic downtown, a short walk to Night Heron Park, and an easy bike ride to several restaurants and local shops. Most importantly, this cottage is across the street from Kiawah Island’s ten miles of pristine beach.

Kiawah Island boasts 10 miles of beaches, five pristine golf courses and is renowned for their abundant array of recreation programs, eco-adventures, miles of trails, water sports and diverse wildlife.

Cozy house close to the beach

We loved our stay! Very nice house and very clean. Next time I’ll bring my pillows though.

Thank you for posting a review for Kiawah Cottage. I am so happy you found the cottage to be so clean and cozy. My housekeeper is fantastic and we work very hard to keep it clean and fresh. I am sorry you were not pleased with the pillows. Each guest is provided with two brand named quality pillows, there are twelve in the cottage, and with a goal that one will meet your preference. It was great to have you back as my guest for your second stay and I am happy to hear you had a great week! Elizabeth

Beautiful cottage in the perfect location on Kiawah Island.

We have been coming to Kiawah for 28 years. Our favorite location is in west beach near Eugenia! This Oceanwoods cottage is perfect and working with Elizabeth Bronzo was seamless.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Kiawah Cottage. Truly only a minute to the beach from a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. When not on the beach we spent much of our time on the screened in living space.Kitchen had everything we needed- — a treat to have a second oven when feeding our family. Looking forward to our trip next year.

Wonderful, clean cottage in a great location!

We loved our stay at Kiawah Cottage! The house is so clean and well kept. We couldn't have asked for a better week on Kiawah Island. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are super comfortable, and we spent SO much time enjoying the screened in porch. The cottage is a 2 minute walk to the beach, which was wonderful with toddlers. Also, we loved the outdoor shower to get cleaned up before coming inside. Elizabeth is an incredible host - thank you so much!! Highly recommend for a trip to Kiawah!

Perfect beach getaway

We could not have asked for a better experience. The unit, which is located right next to a beach access point on a quiet street, was perfect for 4 adults and a toddler, with room to spare. The host was very responsive to questions/requests. We will definitely book this again in the future.

Spring Break

We had an excellent vacation and a great experience. Elizabeth was amazing. She was proactive in letting us have an opportunity to check in early and proactive in giving us an opportunity to check out later. The house was beautiful, very clean, and stocked well, but not over cluttered. If, and when we come back, we will hopefully stay at the exact same place. We had an excellent experience! Kiawah Island is one of our favorite vacation spots.

Pleasant, well maintained cottage in great location

This is a lovely cottage, accurately described, and very well maintained. We have rented on Kiawah Island for 30 years in nearly every part of the island and every type of rental and this was one of the cleanest and most cared for homes in our experience. It’s simple but pleasant and tastefully decorated, the kitchen is well stocked, the appliances are new or nearly new, the beds are comfortable and there is an overall sense that the owners take care of the property, which we appreciated very much. Also, the location is terrific, with beach access just across the street. Highly recommend!

Wonderful

This was our favorite Oceanwoods cottage that we've rented in 10 years. Everything is as described. Elizabeth was incredibly helpful and provided so many extras that are not usually supplied when renting. Having good quality beach chairs and beach towels provided was wonderful. The kitchen is extremely organized and stocked with every cooking supply one could need. Additionally, the stock of trash bags and cleaning supplies was greatly appreciated. We will return, for sure!

Great Getaway

So many great things to say about this cottage. It was clean, had all the amenities you needed with a tranquil setting. Things we loved: close to beach (super close and easy access), restaurants, bike trails and the beach!! Great communication by owner. We would love to come again and stay at this cottage. It was picture perfect!

Fantastic Fall Break

We love Kiawah and have been renting on the island for 30+ years. This rental has everything needed (except for a gas grill) to have a wonderful time. It is stocked with high quality things and just the right size for a family of 5-6. It is so close to the beach and one of our favorite hangout places, Night Heron Park. Elizabeth communicated well and had left lots of little extras that were nice little surprises. We have never stayed in the same place twice but that will likely change now! This is a great Kiawah rental for a relaxing stay.

This was our first time at Kiawah , and we had the best time ! The location was a 3 min walk to the beach and 3 min bike ride to the park and The Nest. The house was perfect for our family of 4 and the hosts we responsive and helpful ! We can’t wait to rebook and visit again :)!

Wonderful Location

You couldn't ask for a better location and a more responsive host. House is well stocked (little details like clips for chip bags make a difference) and tastefully decorated. There were 4 adults in my group and a toddler. We never felt croweded with plenty of living space. The house is located close to two boardwalks. We used the one with a ramp because we had to haul a bunch of stuff to the beach with our grandson.

Our favorite ever Kiawah rental ever

I cannot speak highly enough of our stay at Kiawah Cottage. Incredible location, ample room for our family, very clean and updated space, well-stocked kitchen, excellent communication. We have been to Kiawah many times over the last 20 years and this was by far our favorite location. Just steps from the beach in a quiet neighborhood, and close to Night Heron Park. Conveniently located on the west side of the island for quick access to the off-island grocery store and other retail shopping.

Outstanding

This is an outstanding property. Everything was high quality - including furnishings and appliances. The bathrooms and showers were wonderful. The location is very close to beach accesses - for both walkers and bikers. The cottage was spotless - I was comfortable immediately and I am very picky. And last but not least, the host, Elizabeth, is so very warm, personable and helpful. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay

My family and I had the most lovely week in Kiawah Island, SC. Kiawah Cottage was the perfect place for us. Elizabeth is a wonderful hostess and supplied everything we needed for a weeks stay. Great cottage!

We had a fabulous time at Kiawah Cottage. The house is clean, inviting, and has all the amenities you’ll need for a great stay. We have a family of five - including three boys ages 15, 10, and 9 - and we had plenty of room. We loved how close it was to the beach, just a 2 minutes walk. We rented bikes from Seaside Cycles for all of us and biked many miles each day as well as took many walks along the beach and paths. We will definitely rent from Elizabeth for future trips to Kiawah. Thank you for a lovely week!

Take me to the beach!

Elizabeth is the queen of hospitality at Kiawah Cottage in West Beach. Just being steps from the beach allowed the freedom to come and go & not have to lug everything for an entire day at the beach. Yet, the quiet of a neighborhood, shade of the surrounding trees and accessibility to nearby shopping and restaurants lends this stay to ease and relaxation. Kitchen was very well stocked, ample towels & blankets, plenty of beach chairs, bike racks, outdoor shower for rinsing off the beach sand, outstanding water pressure, and enough privacy for us given the proximity of neighbors. The price point was spot on. Cleanliness was the best we’ve experienced with any stay- ever!

A rental with 5 Star resort experience

In a word, the house was stunning! It was decorated and stocked in a way that you would expect from a 5 Star resort. We haven’t had a vacation in a year so we decided on Kiawah Island. I traveled with my wife, my mother in law and my 7 year old daughter. First, Elizabeth is one of the most responsive owners that we have ever worked with. She responded back within 4 hours to every inquiry. When you arrive at the property, she has a welcome gift waiting for you on the table. Second, she thought of just about everything and everything in the unit was very high quality. We are coffee drinkers and she even had the top of the line Keurig coffee maker and she even left you a small tin of coffee as a welcome gift. We believe that it is the small touches that make a rental home special and she has lot of the small touches such as beautiful glassware, lighters to light the grill, glass hand soap dispensers in every bathroom and dimmers on the light switches. Kiawah Island is known for its natural beauty. The warmth of the home married very well to the peace and serenity of the Island. We enjoyed our stay immensely and we can’t wait to return next year!

We are residents on the island and our family has been on the island for over thirty years! We are excited to be the new owners of 468 Fiddlers Reach in Oceanwoods. We were original owners of an Oceanwoods and were thrilled to purchase this one with its FANTASTIC location. We are excited to share one of the best escapes South Carolina has to offer with our beachside vacation cottage.

Most importantly, this cottage is across the street from Kiawah Island’s ten miles of pristine beach. Often you can hear the surf from the cottage.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Kiawah Cottage enhancements are made each year to keep it fresh and clean! A new driveway and fresh new outdoor cushions recently added. Additionally, the cottage features upgraded family room furniture, new twin beds May 2023, new master bedroom king size bed, updated screen porch furniture and many other enhancements. Each year we invest in the cottage and spend the winter making sure it is in pristine condition for the upcoming season! In November 2021 the master bath was completely remodeled and a marble double vanity was added. Kiawah Cottage is family owned and run.
