Thank you for inquiring about our Kiawah Oceanwoods cottage. You may look forward to enjoying the southern breezes from our large screened porch and deck overlooking a lagoon and private yard as well as a short walk to the beach (175 yards) for the ultimate in South Carolina sunsets. This location cannot be beat!!

Our comfortable cozy cottage has hardwood laminate floors throughout. Skylights and ceiling fans add to the Southern climate comfort. The screened porch has been enlarged to accommodate both a dining area as well as a seating area to enjoy the beauty of the Island. Internet, smart tv's in great room & queen/master bedrooms, a full library, and games for family enjoyment. Bathrooms updated with showers and double sinks in the master.

If you have never been to Kiawah Island, you have not lived! The bike trails, the wildlife, the privacy of the Island, the marsh, the sunsets... And Charleston is only thirty minutes away!

Magical time with family

What a wonderful cottage on Kiawah! It was fantastic! The screened in porch was a real highlight for us and the home itself had everything we could possibly need. (The location was amazing as well.) We had such fantastic family time! Cissy was very responsive and shared her knowledge of Kiawah and the surrounding areas with us. This was our first time on Kiawah and we loved it!!

Exceeded Expectations

The cottage was clean and very comfortable. I had the room with the queen bed and it was like sleeping on a cloud. The only problem was it was very high and I am very short. But I managed to climb in every night.Cissy was wonderful to work with and we cannot wait to come back next year.

Couldn't have asked for more

This was such a lovely home. More spacious than I had anticipated, based o other places we've stayed at on Kiawah. Very cozy and welcoming. Enjoyed the screened porch immensely. Close to all of the places we wanted to be. Within walking distance of the beach.

Wonderful Kiawah cottage!

We had a wonderful time at this property which is a very short walk to the beach. The screened in porch was large and proved to be a favorite place to gather during the trip. The kitchen was well stocked and beds were very comfortable. The property manager was communicative and very pleasant to deal with. We would definitely stay in this property on return trips to Kiawah.

Could Not Have Been Better!

If I could have given more than 5 stars, I would have. The house was amazing. So clean and spacious. Very well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, glassware. There was even a good selection of spices. The location is a 3 minute walk to the beach. We so enjoyed lounging on the big screen porch. We will definitely look forward to another stay here!

Kiawah Retreat

Our stay was wonderful. Everything nice and clean, well keep. We spend a lot of time on the screened in porch and deck. It was so inviting. We will definitely want to return.

Perfect Kiawah Island Getaway

The property was just lovely. The interior was as shown, neat and clean and nicely decorated. The screened in porch was great and a wonderful place to sit and chat. The beach was within a few short minutes from the home. The neighborhood is perfect. The beds were very comfy. It was a super place to stay for family and friends. Highly recommend!

Beach retreat

We had a wonderful stay here this weekend with a reunion of girlfriends. Short walk to the beach and the home was comfortable with a well stocked kitchen, nice decor and we enjoyed staying up late and catching up on the screened in porch. Would definitely recommend!

Great Stay!

We so enjoyed our visit. It’s easy to enjoy Kiawah, but the location of this property, the availability of all our necessities made this spot so enjoyable for a family with young children. The house is cozy and lived in, with plenty of puzzles and things to occupy us! An easy bike ride to Night Heron park or the Sanctuary with just a quick walk to the beach.

Oceanwoods

We had a wonderful time in Kiawah. It never disappoints. The house was fully stocked with everything you need. Plenty of dishes and bath towels. It was nice to have extra beach items as well. The house was cozy and the colorful! This house stands out with the great location to the beach, an easy walk back and forth with kids. This is the 5th home in Oceanwoods we have stayed in and in my top 2! We will be back.

Kiawah summer 2023

Been coming to Kiawah since 1991. First as a property owner’s family member until 2019 and then as a ‘paying’ guest. We prefer staying either at Night Heron Cottages (where my aunt owned a house) or Oceanwoods. It’s really all we need and can afford. We enjoyed this property, the neighbors (permanent residents) and the property owner so much that we have already booked for next summer! It’s a perfect size for the few of us, perfect distance to the beach and Freshfields Village, and right off the grandest street of them all….Eugenia Avenue! We are outdoors folks so the living room and tv was only used once, to watch the World Cup. Other than that, we were either walking, beaching, biking or sitting on the screened in porch. Just another fabulous summer on my favorite island on the planet!

Kiawah Island Gem

Our family visits Kiawah Island frequently and this is one of the best rentals we have ever had. You can’t beat the location! An easy walk down the street gets you to the nearest beach access. We were also able to bike to Freshfields and to see the dolphins strand feeding. The house itself is beautifully decorated and the space was more than comfortable for our family of five. Our favorite spot was the screened in porch. Despite having neighbors, the trees and landscaping provided a sense of seclusion while we enjoyed the porch and outside decks. I also can’t say enough about the owner. Communication was clear and owner to respond. We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful Stay at the Beach

We returned to this property for the second year in a row and had another great stay. The house is a very short walk to the beach and also convenient to other amenities on Kiawah Island. It is very well maintained and has everything needed for a family beach vacation. Highly recommend.

Perfect Stay

Our family of five really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. It had all the comforts of home. The beach was a 2-minute walk across the street. The check-in/check-out process was very straight forward thanks to Cissy’s great communication. We hope to return in the near future.
