8 Junket is a fantastic six bedroom, six and two half bath oceanfront home, offering dramatic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Located in the world-famous Palmetto Dunes Plantation, the designer decorated home accommodates 12 people and boasts a panoramic view of the ocean from the upstairs formal living room, dining room, kitchen with attached family room, and eat-in kitchen and sundeck. Guests will also have a magnificent view of the ocean from the downstairs living area, wet bar, and covered patio. Elegantly appointed throughout, 8 Junket will please even the most discriminating vacationer. A spectacular oceanfront pool, 40 feet x 22 feet, and spa is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, tall trees, and natural vegetation for the utmost in privacy.

The tiled foyer, coffered ceiling and columns lead to the first floor living area. As you enter the premises, there is a glass table with 4 rattan chairs, perfect for a game of cards. A wet bar with an ice maker, wine cooler, dishwasher, and a deep sink also has three cushioned chairs to sit and enjoy your favorite beverage. A half bath is next to it. The living area has a large sectional sofa flanked by decorative trees and large windows overlooking the swimming pool. Share a favorite movie with the whole family on the 70-inch flat screen TV with Blu-Ray DVD. Outside the living room door is the pool and spa area. There are eight lounge chairs and a table that seats six. On the other side there is a covered, outdoor kitchen equipped with a ceiling fan, patio sofa, rocking chair and Weber grill. A great place for all your outdoor dining!

Back inside, to the right of the entrance, is the laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, plus a sink. There are three bedrooms on the first floor. To the right of the living area is an oceanfront bedroom with a king bed, bench seat, armchair, a mounted 32” TV, and a door to the swimming pool. There is a private bath with double sinks with granite counters, a jetted tub with a view of the ocean, a separate glass shower, and a walk-in closet. The second bedroom on this level is to the right of the front door and has two twin beds decorated in soothing aqua/green tones, two bench seats, and a 27” Roku TV. There is a door to a tiny, covered patio to catch a glimpse of the ocean. A private combination tub and shower bathroom has travertine flooring and a fancy cabinet. The third bedroom provides a king bed, two armchairs, and a 32” TV, walk-in closet, and a private bath with shower only. With a phenomenal view of the water and access to the covered outdoor kitchen, guests will revel in breathtaking sunrises!

Two floors of the home are accessible by elevator as well as the stairs. Eleven steps up to the second level there are two more bedrooms. The king bedroom has a partial view of the ocean and the yard, a 32” TV, and a private combination tub/shower bathroom with a Mother-of-Pearl cabinet. The second bedroom has two twin beds, a 32” TV, and a private combination tub/shower bathroom. There is a slight view of the ocean and heavy drapes to block out the light and sleep in late!

Eight more stairs lead to the upper level of the home. This level has stunning wood floors and gorgeous ocean views. The formal dining room is to the left with a long wood table with eight oval high backed cushioned chairs and a tray ceiling. Straight ahead is the living room with a desk, two cream-colored couches, an armchair, and massive windows to watch the waves roll in. The renovated kitchen has a granite island, a breakfast bar with four cushioned stools, stainless appliances, and a Jenn-Air 6-burner gas range. An eat-in kitchen has a large glass table with seating for eight people and features tall windows with sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean. A door leads to the sundeck with chairs in the shade and chairs for sunbathing. A spiral staircase makes it fun to get down to the pool. Off the kitchen is an informal family room with a large gray sectional, armchair, two leather recliners with ottomans, and a mounted 60” TV with Blu-Ray DVD over the fireplace. The expansive windows allow you to see the pool, lawn, and ocean. A half bathroom is conveniently located near the kitchen.

The third floor also features an exquisite large master suite with a king bed, tray ceiling, three chairs, a mounted 50” TV, and a door to the upstairs sundeck. Lie in bed and see the ocean! The unique private bath has green marble floors, a jetted soaking tub with a view of the sea, a large separate walk-in shower, double granite vanities, and a giant walk-in closet.

Six cars can easily be parked in the driveway. From the front yard, a cement sidewalk to the right of the house can be used for bikes or beach carts. Guests can access the beach on steppingstones near the pool, which lead to a wooden boardwalk and a wood ramp down to the sandy path to the ocean. 8 Junket has all the amenities of a premier vacation property.

Palmetto Dunes is one of the premiere areas of Hilton Head Island and has three miles of beach, three signature golf courses, world-renowned tennis, and an 11-mile lagoon system where guests can kayak, canoe and fish. There are miles of leisure paths that weave throughout the resort that are great for walking, jogging, and biking. Plus, Shelter Cove Marina on Broad Creek is close by where you will find live entertainment, restaurants, and shops.
