We loved our stay at Dream Come True! The house is beautifully done and very well stocked for cooking meals. There are many amenities to use - paddle boat, kayaks, pool table etc. Even though the lake is very low this year we were able to make our way down to the floating docks they have available to fish and socialize while enjoying the wonderful views and sunshine. Judy, the host, is very sweet and accommodating! The property is located very close to the state park where we could go hike with our dogs who themselves loved the stay :)We definitely have Dream Come True on our list of places to return to for future vacations. It is like a home away from home and a fantastic place to just unplug and relax.

Thanks so much!! We take great pride in making our STR like a home and not just a rental! We stay there a lot in off season so we are able to know what the home needs. The location is perfect! Dream is in the middle by boat or car. We utilize the state park a lot ourselves since it is so close! Come stay at Dream and see for yourself!

We had a lot of rain over Memorial Day weekend, but this house made it easy to still have an amazing time! Between the pool table, poker table, ping pong, and every kitchen appliance you could possibly need, there was always something fun to do indoors. The location at Smith Mountain Lake was perfect, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. This home is truly unique and a sight to see. We would absolutely love to book again in the future!

Dream Come True really is a dream! The big deck with the view of the lake is stunning! The house is so nicely laid out with plenty of room to gather together or to find a peaceful spot for time alone. It has absolutely everything you need, and I love a house that offers extra pillows and blankets, it’s a really nice touch. The owners are wonderful and we look forward to going back.

The property was in the BEST location! This was our third time to Smith Mountain Lake and this home was the best location by far! We loved the deck and the huge outdoor couch! It was so great to be directly on the water without having to climb steep stairs to get to the dock or fire pit. We really appreciated all the firewood and the fully stocked kitchen. The home was clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty enough room for our large group. We loved that they were pet friendly and our dog had an amazing time! We will certainly be back and cannot recommend this property enough!

Wonderful home on the lake.

Having the home so close to the water was amazing. No stairs or steep walk to the water was so nice. the home has everything and more that we needed, from the kitchen to fire pit. I have rented homes from VRBO for years and Judy is the nicest owner I have ever worked with. We are looking forward to staying in this home again.

Perfect getaway

This property couldn’t have been better. The house was clean, comfortable, and centrally located to what we were interested in doing. We’ve stayed in a lot of rentals over the years, and What makes this one of our favorite places is the extras that Judy provides. From coffee and creamer to all of the fun activities in the house for a rainy day, there couldn’t be a better rental.

Aptly Named!

I can't imagine a more perfect property for a lake vacation. It is luxurious in a most comfortable way, and holds the 10-person capacity without ever feeling crowded. This area of the lake is beautiful and, while we were there, quiet -- but you can easily access the larger part of the lake and local marinas and restaurants. The owner could not have been more gracious before, during and after our rental. We will certainly hope to uses this property again - it provided the perfect family vacation spot.

Thanks! Our home is truly a Dream Come True for us. That is why we work so hard to keep it in great condition and make it extra comfortable for our house guest! It is situated in a good area of the lake that is convenient to everything! We also love working with our guest to help them feel at home and enjoy the lake. One problem with our Dream Come True - once you get there then it is very hard to leave!!!

I had the privilage of staying at this home on SML this past summer of 09. I have been staying on lakes all my life and this home was truly perfect for my family and friends. Perfect place for family, friends, and pets to hang out. So warm and inviting with the amenities of a 5 star hotel. I would highly recommend this lake house to any of my friends and family and plan to return there soon.
