Villa Nomade is located in the Shipyard Condominiums at the Truman Annex. The Shipyard is in the heart of Old Town Key West on the former U.S. Navy property of Truman's Little White house. We loved the location, nice and quiet, enjoyed the lush tropical plants of the back patio. Everything was clean and comfortable and the rain shower head was a plus. Very easy to relax and sleep in as the bed was very comfortable. We would recommend this unit highly.

Great oasis close to restaurants, shops, bars

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Nice, clean place with full kitchen. And the washer/dryer was a great convenience! We’ll definitely return!

Wonderful Trip

The unit was very clean and a great location, easily walkable to most of Old Town KW - Mallory Square, Hemingway House, the seaports, Duval St, etc. Taking the Trolly tour early in your trip is very helpful learning about KW and where places are located. Some wonderful restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay again at this unit.

Great place

This place is small but perfect for 2 sets of couples or a small family. It is within walking distance of everything, so very conveniently located. Has all the amenities that you need. A BBQ would be great, but that’s all it’s missing. The designated parking spot is a must and really nice to have. We will definitely stay again if it’s available.

Location, Location, Location!!

From the moment we arrived, until we had to leave, we enjoyed every minute at the townhouse. It was like a home away from home, because it had everything you needed to feel comfortable. Joe was very attentive, answering any questions we had promptly. I would highly recommend this townhouse and hope to make future visits to Key West.

Convenient and clean

Stayed for a week. Place was perfectly located and clean. Door pad had code for easy access when we arrived. Having assigned parking was also a plus so we don’t have to fight over parking. You can get anywhere you want to go within a 10-15 walk.

Raining Flowers!

Beautifull property, the trees in the backyard were raining flowers! Property owner was excellent, quick to respond, and took care of all our needs. Would choose this again in the future.

Key West Getaway

Property location was great. All of the Old Town locations were an easy walk. The townhouse was very clean and well stocked. Furniture, especially the beds, were very comfortable. The full kitchen was nice for quick meals. The patio was great in the evenings after a long day of sight seeing. We did visit the pool and enjoyed cooling off. The chairs and umbrellas were nice when we had enough sun. I would definitely stay her again!

FANTASTIC STAY

This was a last minute trip as we are in the middle of purchasing a house in Key West. Joseph was amazing! He has a beautiful place. The condo is small but very very functional with an amazing deck. You cannot ask for more. Would 100% recommend this condo to anyone looking for a modern, clean place in an amazing neighborhood.

Nice condo but

Condo was very nice inside but would have liked to have known that the pool was closed for the week and limited access to patio because of maintenance work . Price was a little high without those amenities but in a good location

Mary, I apologize about the pool closure. That work was supposed to happen a month ago and my understanding was that it would take 2 days. Obviouosly, not the case. The painting has been an ongoing project for 4 months now with no end in sight. I'm sorry for the incovenience to you.

Great....just a little tired. Could have used a broom. Had to get a hose ito clean off the deck.Shower could use grab bars as it is a tub shower and harder for old people to step out.Other than thst it was great..

Attractive and well equipped condo

We were delighted to find that the condo is even better than it looks in the picture. It is surprisingly spacious, with two good-sized double rooms and a big kitchen/diner/living room opening out on to the garden. The kitchen is very well-equipped - we cooked most nights (young children have that effect on your social life!) and there was everything we could possibly have wanted. We enjoyed the shared pool (although a warning to other families - no children in swim nappies/diapers are allowed) and the splash pad on the waterfront. It would have been good to have a gas grill in the garden (I appreciate charcoal grills aren't allowed).

Neighborhood easily accessible to the downtown Key West sights

This condo was in a great location. We could walk to almost everything we wanted to do. When we did take an Uber it was a short distance. The unit had a great kitchen and living room. The mattress in the bedroom where I slept was not in very good shape. Both bedrooms had carpeting that desperately needs removal and replacement. The unit was quiet until the last couple of days when someone occupying the unit above us moved in. They arose very early....5am and ran and walked loudly on the floor above us. That may have been an isolated incident. We were only given 2 very tiny bars of soap to last a week. The unit did have a new washer and dryer that we appreciated since we were hot and sweaty when we returned to the condo requiring a change of clothes a couple of times a day. Overall, I liked the unit and would stay here again.

Thank you for your comments. I’m glad you enjoyed the location. You are correct about the carpeting and we are planning to remove it and install tile. Unfortunately the past couple years have set out plan back temporarily. We do have it cleaned a couple times a year to extend its life. The mattresses are not a year old yet so I’ll check them out when I return this fall. Thanks again, Joe

Wonderful resident with all the comforts of home. Beautiful back deck with plenty of privacy. Friendly neighbors. Great pool area to hang out and cool off in the afternoons. Close to Duval street and Ernest Hemingway house. Highly recommend this location.

Awesome property!

This was the perfect place to enjoy our 25th anniversary. Very nice quiet neighborhood. The patio is the best. We were out there a lot. Very clean. The kitchen was amazing. We cooked a lot of our meals, they had all the basics that we needed. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The pool area was awesome. Always had seats we could sit at. Met a lot of great people out there. Would recommend to anyone. Hopefully one day we can come back.
