We needed a 7-week rental for the summer. We prefer a townhouse or condominium for extended stays with a lap pool and gym access. This place has constant brief stays and mixed reviews (excellent to tired ), but when no other options appeared, we took it. The pluses: a nice, older Development with great walking trails and a convenient location to the city. The views from the back patio of this condo are beautiful. The place was clean with the expected amenities.The negatives: The place is tired. Photos don’t show the wear and tear. The wood cabinetry throughout most of the condo is very worn and probably needs to be replaced. The light beige carpeting is old. It is clean except for the edges at doorways, which were black from soil (might clean up with a professional cleaning). The chipped walls require a touch-up paint job. There were issues: VRBO promptly addressed missing items- a grill for the propane tank, a vacuum, and a swifter to mop. A portable curtain was hung so we could dine without the sun hitting us in the face. A bad skunk odor coming from the tub after a shower required two visits and finally diminished. We decided to ignore items that should be addressed but didn’t impact our stay, such as the broken wall holders for the bottle of liquid soap and hair dryer, torn lamp shade, and loose dining room table board.
