Each residence at the St. Simons Grand is well appointed with a large living and dining area, oversized oceanfront balcony, fully equipped kitchen, and three or four generously sized bedrooms.

Community amenities include gated access, wireless internet service, nighttime property patrol, private beach boardwalk, large heated oceanfront swimming pool, hot tub, lagoon with gazebo, and beautifully landscaped grounds.

Grand #112, offered by Hodnett Cooper, features three bedrooms, three baths, and a remarkable ocean view.

Beach Gear Credit Now Included Hodnett Cooper has partnered with VayK Gear, a beach delivery service provider to offer beach gear rentals to Hodnett Cooper guests in participating properties. Family of 4 (with 2 college-age kids) stayed a few days and really enjoyed it. Short walk to beach or bike rental place, short drive to restaurants and attractions. Comfortable without being stuffy. Would return. If nit-picking: sliding door glass needs cleaning or refinishing; no hair dryer; kitchen implements (like spatulas) could be higher quality. 9/10

Great trip!

The property was exactly as described. It was so nice to have the beach chairs delivered prior to our stay. The couches were so comfortable! Overall great stay!

Relaxing stay

Really enjoyed the location of this unit, as the steps directly off the balcony made pool and beach access a little simpler. The balcony itself was very relaxing with good shade, a beautiful view, and the sounds of the fountain right out in front.

Family weekend getaway

Property is gorgeous. Location is great, close to restaurants and shops. Condo is very nice, well kept. We will likely return here in the future.

Great stay with friends

The property and location were beautiful. St Simons is a beautiful welcoming coastal town. Property and pool were very well maintained. Communication with property manager over improperly functioning dryer was no fault of VRBO. Would definitely stay again.

Hassle free stay

Unit was as advertised. No issues. Walk to the water is a hike but manageable. Enjoyed ability to walk to good restaurants.

Great location

I have stayed at this condo complex before and love the location. The condo needs some updating. Suggest beds be replaced as the King and twin beds squeak. Fresh coat of paint on the cabinets is needed as well. Just suggestions to spruce the place up.

New beds needed

Everything about this place is amazing. The location is spectacular, the facilities are great, all of that is 5 stars, but the beds are absolutely terrible. I have never heard beds make so much noise before. The base on all x4 beds are exactly the same. They made this awful loud noise whenever you moved. It really impacted our holiday because none of us got a good nights sleep. We ended up going home a day early (supposed to be there 8 nights) I can’t say that we have ever counted down until a holiday was over, but we all couldn’t wait to go home and get some sleep!

Upgrades needed

This property needs significant upgrades and refurbishment, including in the master suite and kitchen. The beautiful view was invisible through the sliding doors which apparently had broken seals and were steamed up. They did not slide easily and the screen did not stay in the track. We just had to prop it up against the wall. The unit location was perfect with direct access to the grounds and beach via stairs from the patio. The grounds were beautiful and the location of the whole building was very convenient to the amenities of St. Simon’s Island. We enjoyed our stay overall but were disappointed in the condition of the unit.

Condo great, mgmt co was terrible

Condo was terrific, but property management co was not. Granted we were there during tropical storm Debby, but fortunately it did not hit St Simons hard. We reported water coming into sliding glass doors on Monday night. Sent another email on Tuesday (large sopping wet section of carpet). Never heard back from property mgmt (didn’t leave until Sat). The hot water in the master shower never worked from start (we used other bathrooms), and gas grills did not work.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate it. I am sorry if your issues were not taken care of during your stay. I have not been able to find any emails or missed phone calls. We have a staff member who is always on call to handle situations like those after hours. Though we did decide that for the safety of our employees we would close the office for half a day during the storm we were always available via the emergency on call phone. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again. Hopefully in better weather!

Excellent Condo

We've stayed at a number of places at the Grand and this one was by far the cleanest we have ever stayed in. We thought when we booked it that it looked a little out dated, but were very pleased upon arrival. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels in each bathroom. Additionally, the cable channel selection was good. We have stayed in other places before that only basic cable, but that was not the case here. We will absolutely be booking this property again in the future.

The prefect place

Our stay at the St.Simon Grands was amazing. Being ocean front and pool right out the door was such a nice treat. The service was over the top and the condo was very clean and had a very nice feel at home touch to it. We will def be returing back to the Island.

Wonderful & spacious rooms, but a few issues...

It started with a rather annoyed attitude by the person providing the key at ck in. Our initial impressions was great, and, for the most part, remained good. That said, we had the following issues: - NO OUTLETS worked in the master bath - The outlets were dangerously loose in the other bathrooms, and in a few other locations. - The faucets were reversed in the shower and jetted tub in master bath - with NO indication or notification to that fact, so I thought there was no hot water and called maintenance . - The jets in the jetted tub barely moved the water. In fact, they did so little to the water the bubbles actually DISAPPEARED instead of increased!! - The dryer is just horrible; it took several cycles to dry clothes!!

Wonderful place for a person with mobility issues

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this property in May 2021. Prior to our visit, the only concern we had was that the listing contained photos of only 1 of the 3 bathrooms. We can now attest that the bathrooms not shown are first rate. I would also add this property was ideal for the member of our group who has issues with mobility and uses a rollator to get around. She was easily able to maneuver throughout the unit, though I did have to move a small chest of drawers (just outside the master bedroom) about 8 inches to allow her to pass. The unit is located very near an elevator, and there are covered, handicap parking spaces underneath the unit, just steps from the elevator. I would also note that the description of the property mentions a "large heated oceanfront swimming pool." Our experience was that the swimming pool was not heated during our stay. Overall, though, this was a great place and we gladly stay here again.

Girls Trip 2021 Cheaper than Therapy!!!!

What can I say?? This place is gorgeous, stunning,breathtaking, and beautiful!!! Our condo was the best ever and we will be back with our men and families since this trip was a girls trip!!! What a new tradition we will start!!! Our condo was perfect in every way!!!! Our sunset cruise was so fantastic also and the people in St Simon are so very friendly!!! Thank You All!!!!!!
