Each residence at the St. Simons Grand is well appointed with a large living and dining area, oversized oceanfront balcony, fully equipped kitchen, and three or four generously sized bedrooms.

Community amenities include gated access, wireless internet service, nighttime property patrol, private beach boardwalk, large heated oceanfront swimming pool, hot tub, lagoon with gazebo, and beautifully landscaped grounds.

Grand #303, offered by Hodnett Cooper, features three bedrooms, three baths, a remarkable ocean view, and beautiful furnishings throughout.

Memorial Day Staycation

Have stayed in this unit before so we knew what we were good. Nice unit with 3 bedrooms 3 baths and a well stocked kitchen. Good location with great ocean view.

Nice stay

We enjoyed the stay, kitchen was well equipped, need way more spoons and bigger bowls, but those are minor! Great view and pool and beach access great.

Beautiful views!

We loved to stay at The Grand when we come to St Simons. This condo was fine but in need of some updating. The bathrooms are dated and the toilet has a valve that shuts and we had to push it in every time we wanted to flush the toilet. The carpet in the bedrooms is worn and dated. We stayed in another condo in September that was up to date and beautifully done. This one appeared in need of an update. That being said, we really liked the side of the Grand that this condo was on.

Three condo problems - one solved.

I would never write a bad review. That is not who I am. I do not want this posted!!!! The condo needed pots and pans. Hodnett Cooper was great!!! That problem was solved immediately!!! Thank you! Everything else about the condo is perfect except: Too many owner items in closets. And, a glass top is also stored in one- potential hazard. Sleeps 8 - only 3 kitchen chairs and 3 bar stools. If the second 2 issues were resolved, I would choose this condo again.

Great stay

We had a great time at this property and you can't beat the location! The view from the condo is amazing, the setup is great, pool is SO great for children! The only thing I would say is maybe check on kitchen supplies- a little lacking but we made-do!

Lovely Stay unit needs some TLC

Our stay on St Simons was a great week. The St Simons Grand is a beautiful property with lovely beach access and amenities. We found the island to be just perfect in means of just enough activity without being too commercial. This property does need some maintenance. While it was fine for our stay there were definitely some issues that need addressing. Being a previous owner of a beach property I feel that this property lacked in several areas. The first being up keep in the unit. The carpet runners and rugs were worn to threads creating a tripping hazard. The kitchen table chairs were broken and ice making not working. The dryer was clogged with lint in the out flow vent so it would not dry. Maintenance was sent and repair on dryer was done, ice maker repair attempted but unsuccessful. The kitchen lacks the basics needed to prepare a meal. Pots and pans were worn and there was not even a bread sheet for the oven. No plastic cups anywhere. There also was no method to sweep up in the unit as there was a broom but no dust pan. Other issue that was disappointing is in the master bedroom you could not enjoy the view due to the immense heat that came thru the sliding doors with the blinds open. The deck furniture could use a good cleaning it is nice furniture just molded. Again this is only this unit in this resort I am reviewing. I would definitely visit again I would just pick a different unit.

Positives and negatives

Positive great location with ocean view and on-property easy beach access the wi fi was really good ample parking space for 2 vehicles plenty of towels and extra pillows blankets big deck with lots of furniture great location on beach, walking distance to bike rental shop and some restaurants condo has a great footprint in is a very nice size keep the vibrating lazy boy chair; very dated but hilariously fun Negative, areas where the owner needs to do maintenance to improve the guests’ experience and so they can give better ratings the 2 red thread bare red rugs look very shabby and give a very bad first and lasting impression. just remove them altogether. furniture is outdated, a bit shabby but functional fridge doors do not close properly and sometimes they stay open causing temperature to go up to an unsafe forty six degrees add some trivets and wire baking racks to prevent hot items/baking dishes from damaging the counter tops add a pair of scissors add several dinner/table spoons to the silverware drawer; there were only 2 in living room the curtain cords are broken; please fix as you have to move the court curtains by hand we reported the screaming sound when the hot water fills the tank to maintenance and hopefully this has been fixed replace all the kitchen knives; none of them are functional, very frustrating

Moldy, musty odor throughout condo

Large condo that should/ could have been fantastic but it had a knock you down moldy smell especially in the 3 bedrooms where there is old shag carpet . After 2 nights of all windows open to air it out, sore throats and itchy skin and eyes we decided to leave this unhealthy situation a day early. After leaving and about 5 hours of clean air away from the condo our mold induced symptoms lifted.

SSI Stay

We had a great stay. The place was clean and fit our family well. It does appear to need several updates with paint as the unit seems older. We had ant issues when we checked in, but the property sent over pest control immediately. No other problems during our stay. Overall, the place was great.

Nice condo...

Condo as described. All 3 bedrooms had TV and en-suite bathroom. Great outdoor furniture with perfect view of sunrise. Living room furniture comfortable and clean as well. Close to one of the 3 elevators on property. Nice grounds and area. Would definitely recommend. Beach service is offered should you not bring chairs.
