This beautiful property nestled on the waterfront of Norris Lake is the perfect home for incredible memories. With 3 lakefront decks (1 screened) and a large deck on the side of the home the outdoor living space is absolutely incredible. Relax on all 3 decks, take a swim or settle into our luxury king bed after a great day on the water! Home has a dock (that houses owner's boat in lift) and a swim platform that has cleats on side. (You can tie a boat to both sides of the dock/swim platform if you choose.) 100 lb per day ice maker will have your cooler loaded up for the lake with no stress! Located less than a mile from Flat Hollow Marina, this home has all you need and more! Year round water! Close to Tackett Creek and a short drive to Ride Royal Blue. Take a day trip to see The Volunteers or to the fun of Gatlinburg!!!

Amazing lake house!

Amazing property, great location. If you have a boat and 6 friends you should book this place. We stayed here in July and the water was around 86 degrees!

Great lakefront location

A very nice cabin in the woods with wonderful decks and views of the lake! Modern kitchen appliances and comfortable amenities. Very responsive host. Definitely a great place to stay!!

Great Getaway!

Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay at this home very much. We spent a great deal of time on the screened porch and swimming from the dock. The screened porch was wonderful to wake up and have a cup of coffee on. The Flat Hollow Marina area was nice and the people were very friendly. Food was good as well and even had vegetarian burger option. Would recommend this home for a relaxing getaway!

Getaway October 2020

First off, Jessica (the owner) has been fantastic! She communicates with us quickly and has never made us feel as if we were a "bother". Will be returning to this property because of her!

Cozy “Work-ation”

In need of a change of scenery, my wife and I booked this property to use as our remote office for a few days. We thoroughly enjoyed this property and even managed to squeeze in a day on the lake by renting a pontoon at the nearby marina. Need seclusion with the comforts of home? Here you go!

Wonderful time

The property is just as advertised, a very short ride to the marina by boat or jet ski. The owner is extremely nice and accommodating, even leaving us a bottle of wine and offering us an early check in. The only reason I gave the location a four star is that the road leading to the cabin is extremely narrow, which made me very nervous! This may not bother other people at all.

The road coming up from the marina can be congested, but there is a little side road called Sparrow Lane you can take to avoid it but it’s kind of difficult to explain because it’s not on any maps! Gotta love the remote beautiful roads of Eastern Tennessee! Thanks for staying with us! Hope to see you again!

Cute,comfy, and quiet getaway spot!

Our little mini vacation was perfect and this cabin provided a quiet, comfy, and clean spot to relax. The views from the decks and the dock were stunning. We rented a pontoon boat one day just to explore the Powell River area, and though with fall temps it was a bit chilly, it was, as always wonderful to be on the water at Norris! It is definitely our favorite spot to be. Staying at Sisters Sunrise was a great choice! After a cool day of boating, an evening in the hot tub and dinner with a fire made it a perfect day! Jessica was readily available and attentive to our needs! Thank you for sharing your home!

Good ,Bad and Ugly.

The good: -Really nice views from multiple pretty decks. -A very nice dock that is lit and has a dining table. -A very good amount of space indoors despite not being a huge place. -Nice location in relation to marina etc. -Nice showers/water pressure. The bad: -STAIRS. and lots of them. About 70 steep steps down to dock and the whole house is on a steep hill so stairs from driveway on down. Fine for us but my in-laws struggled. -AC was weird. Never got cool upstairs and basement was freezing. -All hand towels had to be re washed as they were wet and very smelly upon arrival. The ugly: -Somehow we never received the email from property owner with vital check in info. They sent through email rather than VRBO app. There is little to no cell service in this area so we had to drive way back out of resort to even get a signal. It then took us over an hour to get a response from owner so we could enter. Raining during this time which made things worse. Double check that you have all that info saved before you arrive. - The Hot Tub was not functional which was a bummer as my wife and I enjoy getting the tub in the morning. Upon sharing this with owner I was told that "I had pressed too many buttons(I didn't) and it just needed to be reset." Although through several messages they were never able to instruct me on how to do this. So no hot tub. -I won't go into too much detail. But there were many moments during this trip that I shared with the owner the issues we were having. I was later told that I was "demanding from arrival" and when I later asked about the possibility of a small rebate for the non functioning hot tub I was told in so many words that wasn't reasonable. And was gently accused of lying about our experience with check in for some reason? Defensiveness I suppose? In conclusion, a cool house on the water that is nice for physically able people who don't mind a ton of steps. Come prepared as the owners live in a different state and aren't going to necessarily be available for issues.

Not a Pleasant Experience

House was not clean upon arrival. Living room floor completely covered in leaves. No access to AC leading to extreme suffocation and sleepless nights. Horrible odour in restrooms and no exhaust which led us to open windows also had to shop room freshners traveling an other half an hour.Hot Tub does not work and looked very unhygienic. We happened to cook rice in it and dropping allegations like drug activity is a harassment. Tried reaching out to the owner everyday but we never got a response. She only chats in Vrbo app and since there was no proper internet connection the app was not very responsive.

This is completely false and inaccurate information. As a guest staying in 25 degree weather, the request for air conditioning seems very strange but it was available none the less. The HVAC and an additional window unit in the loft are all in perfect condition and I could see the temp on the nest the entire time. The wi-fi is remotely monitored and had no outage. I answered your calls nearly every hour as you called and texted throughout your stay. You left the house in really terrible condition. You unplugged our outdoor security camera, opened up all our doors and windows and left them that way when you departed posing not only a huge security issue but our heat had to work extremely hard to keep up in 20 degree weather with all the windows and doors open. You left appliances like an instant pot sitting on the floor, you destroyed multiple items in our home including the hot tub cover. This review is absolutely false and inaccurate.

Fun Getaway

We enjoyed our time here for a family getaway without friends. The house is nice and is in a good location. The inside of the house could use a bit of updating/more lighting. That didn’t matter much to us though because we spent the majority of our time on the screened porch or on the dock. There are many steps down to the dock, all well maintained, so make sure you have everything when you go! Jessica was great to work with, answered many questions that I had, and was very helpful with a few minor issues we had at the house!

Thanksgiving in the mountains

We enjoyed our time at this wonderful lake house. We got the mountains and the lake for beautiful scenery 😍. My family enjoyed fishing, seeing deer and chipmunks 🐿 . We were 1 to 2 hours away from attractions and if you are from Georgia or Florida you will definitely enjoy the interstate. Not as crazy as it is down south.

Loved Sisters Sunrise!!

Sisters Sunrise was wonderful!! A great place for a lake trip! Comfortable, roomy, cozy. Owners are wonderful and very accommodating. The decks, the dock, the view; couldn’t have been better!

Safe and quiet neighborhood with beautiful views

Jessica was amazing and very quick to respond-(she never seemed irritated we were calling her with questions ) :) loved our views and the neighborhood!! Kids loved hiking and fishing from the dock. Thank you for a memorable Thanksgiving -need to return to Norris Lake in the summer to really enjoy the water .

Great Place to Stay!

Loved our stay!

Jessica is so nice and very accommodating! The house was perfect for our family trip. We had three couples and a two year old. The house is clean, safe, and fit all our needs! We were able to dock two boats at their own personal dock which was awesome!
