Secluded Romantic Cabin with Hot Tub and Pet Friendly

The Mountain Rock is a beautiful secluded cabin located approximately 1/4 mile from the Appalachian trail & 7 miles from Hot Springs, NC. Tucked away in the mountains surrounded by the forests and a serene meadow frequented by wild life. Relax, unwind and immerse yourself in this romantic getaway; see and listen to the sound of nature from the porch, fire ring or hot tub! Pet friendly!!

The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals and has a gas grill for cooking outside. The bedroom has a queen bed with all the linens you will need for your stay.

The front porch overlooks the meadow where you will often see deer and other wildlife. The hot tub is located on the rear porch and has lots of privacy.

There is a TV with satellite TV and a full size washer and dryer

Pets are allowed for a $15 fee.

This was the second time me and my wife stayed here. We absolutely love this cabin for a close weekend get away. When we arrived they had the heat going with the electric fireplace on for a warm welcome. A snowstorm hit the night of arrival and the next morning they called to check on us to ensure we didn’t have any problems and that everything was working properly. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub even while it was snowing. Highly recommend if planning on visiting the Hot Springs, NC area. Only being 15 minutes from town it’s perfect for a private relaxing time outside of town, but close enough to get any needs. Can’t wait to be able to book another weekend.

Loved staying in this cabin! Very private, and very clean. You can see every star in the sky while sitting in the hot tub. The inside of the cabin had everything needed - pots and pans, dishes, washer and dryer, towels, TV, and more. There was even a roll of doggie poop bags. It is only about a 2.5 mile drive to the Pisgah National Forest, and about a 20 minute drive to Hot Springs. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit that part of NC.

Perfect little getaway

My husband and I LOVED this place. Very quiet and remote, but close enough to town if you need anything. Cabin had everything we needed and more. Owners went out of their way to do small things before check-in like collect firewood and pre-heat hot tub. We appreciated that so much! I would give 10 stars if I could!

Peaceful and quiet

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, everything was clean and well kept. The hot tub was relaxing and the property was very private and peaceful.

Perfection

We stayed Christmas weekend. Beautiful, peaceful. Cabin was clean they had it decorated for Christmas. I can't think of a thing that was missing. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting outside by the firepit. Highly recommend to anyone. You won't be disappointed. Also the little town of hot springs was super cute. 👌

Relaxing

Definitely where we were looking. There's a 12 mile hiking trail (there & back) to hot springs that was great. Smal town was 38 minutes of winding roads but the drive was more enjoyable than an average drive, hot tub was clean and exactly what we needed. All the little ameneties we needed for a breakfast for two. Overall, a great choice. I only wish we could've stayed longer.

Cabin in the mountains

Love your cabin!! It is a very wonderful place to relax and unwind and be with nature to celebrate are 54 wedding anniversary. The hot tub was a perfect ending to a very long day and drive from our home in Missouri. We enjoyed going to the Hot Springs, the Biltmore Estates. Thank you so much for providing such a beautiful and cozy retreat.

Great Weekend Away!!

Absolutely gorgeous. The cabin feels so secluded and is rested at the top of a long, windy road. We did some great hikes in the Pigsah as well. Everything felt clean and our stay was so relaxing! We will definitely be back in the future!

Nice little cabin, secluded but resonably close to town. Ate at a couple of the restaurants in nearby Hot Springs. Very peaceful.

Mountain Break

We were looking for something away from the city in a beautiful area close to outdoor activities. This cabin was perfect for my husband and me, and our son. We enjoyed the nearby hiking trails and scenery. We enjoyed the backyard and the fire pit, the grill, and the hot tub. The cabin was clean and well kept.

Weekend getaway

It was a nice place. If you want to be away from everyone this is your place to pick! The hot tub had already been turned on and was hot upon our arrival which was a good surprise. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed our stay!

The property is off the beaten path down a winding mountain road yet close enough to town to not feel stuck in the woods. Amazingly private area with natures beauty all around.

Perfect getaway

Secluded, but just a short drive from Hot Springs where you can find restaurants, general store, spa, and more! This is the perfect escape with all of the amenities you need for comfort. It provided a nice respite for my partner who was thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail, without sacrificing my own needs for everyday "luxuries". My partner was able to hop back on the trail at the end of our stay right from the cabin. My drive to AVL was an easy 50 minutes. Harold responded quickly and the cabin was very clean and cozy! If we ever find our way to Hot Springs again, we will be sure to book here. 10/10 recommend, just be sure to have a vehicle.

Cabin in the mountains

This place was EXACTLY what we were looking for as a couple. The cabin itself was very clean and perfect for us and our dog. I cannot say enough about the location! It's secluded in the mountains with outstanding views! Thanks so much to Harold for letting us stay here and we hope to visit again ❤️

Nice little getaway

Great clean place to stay over the weekend. We had our dog with us & it was absolutely perfect. The cabin is tucked away in the mountains with several hiking trails near by. We would definitely recommend staying here
